Hiro landed in the sad and began to roll. As he came to a stop the scorpion had disappered, or at least he that it did. The scorpion had burrowed underground to get the upper hand on Hiro. While Hiro was distracted the scorpion busted through the ground right under Hiro's feet, Hiro was shocked and all he could do was jump backwards to try and get out of range. Hiro flipped back barley missing th scorpions reach. He landed and as the scorpion was still in the air Hiro jumped up and double barrel kicked it in its under shell. Sending the scorpion back.
Scorpion

Hiro, getting up from the last blow dilvered to that nasty b*****d of a vermin. He hadn't noticed it right above him. When he tried to move it was to late, the tail came and knocked him straight into the dirt. Hiro shook it off and stood up again looking around. He was getting really annoyed with this sorry excuse for a scorpion and was about to finish the job quick. Hiro began to run towards the spineless freak he had been fighting. When he got close enough he jumped up and spun horizontally dropping his heel into one of its many eyes.
Scorpion

With this the scorpion collapsed to the ground and died slowly. Hiro on the other hand was doing semi well. he needed a break and was beginning to get dizzy. Hiro picked himself up and walked back towards the village. Maybe the blacksmith could offer a lesson.

Mai sat up feeling groggy 'did kinako beat me, i dont remeber the last hit' she though standing. 'he must of or i wouldnt have been on the ground' she concluded looking around for her brother. she wondered if he had gone to get someone to revive her but she doubted it. after all she had only gotten someone for kinako because sh ewas overly worried about inguring him, she was fairly sure he was not quite so overprotective of her.

Sword in the Shadows Katare watched as Kinako won her fight, and was about to fight her.. when he saw Roy walking away out of the corner of his eye. Should I?... But of course. Katare swept up a rock that fit perfectly inside his palm, tossed it up a few times to get used to its weight... and hurled it at Roy with all his might. "You're not leaving until you fight me!" Katare readied himself for a fight.. I shouldn't have done that, Roy isn't an easy opponent.. too late now! Katare grinned... (Now, if I remember correctly, rocks are just regular Taijutsu damage. my ranged and melee mods are both 0 anyways...) ((Roy's dodge 9 if I'm not mistaken so I dodge)) Roy heard the rock coming thanks to Katares big friggin mouth proceeding the rock. He tilted his ehad to the side and looked to Katare with closed eyes. He blinked a few times at Katare with very low eyes and finally tosses a punch right in the guys nose. ((Your dodge is 10 if I'm not mistaken. I'll go check. Anyway, this is melee, I have a -1 so the roll is actually a 9 DC. So I miss.))

(9<10, I dodge... barely.)
Katare knew that a punch was headed his way.. but he had no clue when. The timing was random, so it actually took him by surprise. However, by somemiracle, he managed to dodge by tilting his head to the left. Since his head was already to the left, he attempted to aim a punch with his left fist directly into Roy's stomach...
(Oh, darn. 9>2, you dodge...)

Roy saw the punch coming easily and simply tucked his stomach in to avoid it. He then began to leap back a bit and looked to Katare. "Why the hell did you throw a rock at me? What was that for?" He asked as he looked straight at the b*****d. He then gripped tightly and looked up as he felt his hand getting sore from clinching nothing. He looked to Katare and soon sighed as he scratched his head and looked down. he saw a rather nice sided rock near his feet and decided an 'eye for an eye' as they say and he kicked it at Katare.

((Thats for my melee. This is ranged and doesn't suffer the -1 str reduction. YOu use dex for ranged attacks and my dex mod is 0))

(Oh, you were counting it as a ranged attack...)
[Katare: 5/9 HP]
Katare felt the rock smack him in the eye, causing some serious pain; he hadn't expected an attack from below. "Well, I challenged you! DUH!... Sheesh, for a smart-a**, you sure do have have trouble putting two and two together..." Katare then noticed something. What the..? Oh, I think I can use this to my advantage... He had forgotten that there was another rock in his right hand. Since his hands had been fists the entire time, and since the rock was so sized, Roy couldn't have possibly noticed that it was there.. right? Katare was willing to find out. He began to rush Roy, fists at the ready... or so it seemed. About 7 feet away, he suddenly unfisted his right hand and hurled the rock at his stomach...
