Damion raised an eyebrow and grinned.

"So your in then? In that case, I would try to talk to Darkholme before she leaves. She is our leader after all..."

Well mayby that would get him a few browny points with Mystique... though he highly doubted it with all the new recruits that seemed to be rolling in every moment.

Mystique's smirk widened once again as the teens surrounding her started to get excited over the what was soon to become the battle of their lives. Two of the females, Zion and Lizz seemed especially eager to start a fight, while the other female, one she didn't reconsie right away seemed a bit worried, almost scared of the idea. The blue-skinned mutant didn't let the girl's solomn innocent phase her however, as yet another new face stepped from out of the group. This one being of the male gender.

"Ah yes," she purred after the boy politely introduced himself as Marius, "another eager candidate for the team, I'm sure your friend Damion here has filled you in on our code of conduct if you will."

At this moment she took the time to walk slowly around the boy as if she were scanning every inch of him. He was of average height for his age, but a little on the thin side...but if he was that eager to put himself to the test, then so be it. She smirked then nodded her approval. As with the rest of her, as well as herself, they would all have to prove themselves worthy, weather they liked it or not.

Narcissa seemed to brighten almost immediately as he agreed to be a little more careful. Her hands moved quickly to link behind her back as she beamed, sapphire eyes bright… Clear as any cloudless sky on a sunny day. “You’re very welcome…”

“My name is Narcissa…”, she added with a slight laugh, knowing his name though others… She felt no need to ask him his, and at his reply, felt that he did not detest her presence, and instead sat up on bottom edge of the hospital bed, near his feet, but not touching… Hands refolding in her lap, she tilted her head and grinned. “I’m glad that you’re better… Well, more glad that your powers help you out when you need them too…”

If he looked carefully enough, he would see the faintly golden tinge on the blanket that she cast… It wasn’t enough to be completely obvious, but it simply made the eye draw towards her more often than not. "Mine aren't nearly as helpful..."

Damion stared at the way Marius cept bowing hoping to God that mystique did not see it as mockingly as Damin did. Damion would shrug casualy however when Marius would ask him about codes of conduct which Damion was sure he had heard nothing about. However, he made an informed guess about what the two meant.

"Oh, alot of it's just about mutant superiority to regular people. To be hell honest I doubt some of the members in the brotherhood have followed aa real rule in their lives. In any case, just do what she says that way you don't have to pay the price if she changes her mind about something."

He made absolutely sure (for obvious reasons) that only Marius heard the majority of what he had to say.

We strike now, bright and early, so the X-Men won't even know what hit them...

It was nearly an hour ago when Mystique said that. Lance having just strolled downstairs from a decent night sleep caught only the tail end of her speech, but even so, he knew what their blue skinned leader had up her sleeve. It was test, nothing more, nothing less. A test of their abilities against their rivals the X-Men. In a mutant against mutant battle, one would win and receive the glory that was promised to them while the other would lose. What would happen to the losers? Lance didn't know, nor care, because he didn't plan on being one.

After Mystique had finished her pep-talk and the Brotherhood had suited into whatever attire they felt was necessary for the days events, they would make their way across Bayville to the X-Mansion. Mystique, having a few tricks up her sleeve, got them past the security gates with no problem. From here, everyone would be on their own. Some would probably choose to head forward in pairs, others like himself, would go solo. They all had been breifed on what to do, so the need for staying together as a group was pointless. Not to mention, it would shadow their own personal glories.

Lance, intent of being a winner, choose to stand at the very bottom of the X-Mansion front steps. At the top an on the other side was their grand, over polished Entrance Hall. Adrenaline starting to rush through his bloodstream, Mystique's last few words rushed through his head.

We strike now....so the X-Men won't even know what hit them....

Smirking with his hands stretched out in front of him, he concreted on the ground in front of him. It began to tremble, then moved into a full-scale earthquake. Under his command, a sharp, three-foot deep fault formed up the steps only to crack the door and the wall it stood on. Phase one complete, he let the tremors die down and simply stood there, smirking. Knowing how a**l the X-Men were, alarms would be going off signaling the security breach. Within sixty seconds, they would all come rushing out here to deal with the problem. Whichever one was dumb enough to be first in line would be his personal target for the day...

Startled by the trembling of the earth Aaron rushed outside and saw a line of teens from the brotherhood. "Damn..." He muttered and took to the air instantly. He knew his powers were limited so he had to pick a somewhat weak opponate. "Who is the lucky dork.." He said to himself.

Zion on the other hand had waited for Lance to finish his earth moving announcment of their arrival before climbing over the fallen gate, another thanks to Lance for that. Fireballs formed in her hands and each one was lobbed at the mansion. A couple hit but the others scorched the lawn infront of it.

A smirk played at her lips as she calmly walked up the path to the house, destroying anything she could with her fire. "This is going to be alot more fun then I thought."

Carlos nearly spilt all his coffee as the room began to shake. when it subsided and was followed by explosions of some sort he sipped the mug lightly and started walking as casualy as possible. He eventually came to the front door where he saw someone hiding as it looked. " Buenos dia.... loud mornin." He continued to sip the coffee and walked out the door flinching only as a fireball nearly hit him. He sighed and continued walking sipping the coffee even as fireball after fireball wizzed past his head towards the mansion. Anytime one came close to hitting him he casualy side stepped. One might call him brave, or just plain stupid. But eitherway he made it look like a cake walk. When tremors hit his way he stumbled around but his feet shuffled around like he was dancing and kept him upright until. He managed to finish his coffee and continue all the way. He was more alert caffein kicking in, ajnd his eyes were sdodging around looking at anyone else. He had noticed Aaron, and now he was lookin at the cause of all the commotion. Approaching carefuly. " Ya know, there is a doorbell...." he tensed up as he could feel that his humor and show of guts was unapreciated and his legs shifted all weight as he waited for the eventual dodging he would have to perform.

Explosions, the fear of being shot. living on a base in brazil kinda conditioned a person for shell shock and danger. couple that with having seen so many nightmares in your life time. Carlos was as hardest person to scare. He was pretty shaken and hesitant of his powers but if these guys continued he'd swallow them up for minutes before spitting them out fifty miles into the nearest lake.
