Fine, they insisted on getting wise to her, so she insisted on switching tactics. She stopped being careful about it and just outright lunged at one, grinning in absolute victory as she snagged the fifth, and last, fragment.
"Whatever they did to you, or tried to, or even wanted to...We'll get revenge."
Okay, that one was interesting, at least. It was the most complete fragment she had yet to find, and the first that seemed to be a complete sentence. As different as that was, she found herself brushing the thought aside, instead moving back to the Goddess of Ruin.
"For you, Goddess~" She offered them up with a bow.

The fragments were as slippery and sneaky as he remembered, flitting here and there just out of reach, though the pursuit was different in this strange landscape, the spaces more open, the fog thicker. Often his hands closed on nothing but air.
