Eric sighed. "some things you keep from people to spare their feelings I guess. I knew it would wreck you emotionally if I dropped all that on you at once so bluntly. I guess I didn't want to be associated with it either. It was as much to protect myself as to protect you. I cannot make up an excuse that wouldn't make me sound even worse," he said. "I am so sorry. Do with me what you will. Slap, abandon, murder, I'm ready to accept my fate,"

Eric laughed. "Thank you for existing," he said hugging her back.

Eric stood up. "So, yeah. Your parents are alright, they're just living with mine now since the attack. It's not like your were living there anyway," he said.

Eric rubbed the back of his head. "From what they told me nobody was. Just some damage to buildings. No casualities," he said.
