Nari had found what she was looking for and made her way back to the small cave and growled at the empty spot where she'd left Kai and Calypso. She tossed a capsule in the cave and the few insects that were withing shied away from the spot the boy had been at, telling her that either Calypso was a dragon or he was around them.. Nari sighed, frustrated that she'd left Kai with him and now they were both gone..and there weren't any good tracks to follow either, so Nari decided to head back toward the pond she'd seen earlier.
Kai was closing his eyes so he wouldn't get sick from the swirling colors, preferring that trees would stay still instead of turning into spirals. "....uh..dizzy...." he said as he ended up leaning and resting his head on Calypso's cool scales. "...really...tired..." he said quietly.
Eclipse couldn't help but grin at Korin's words as he waived a hand to dismiss the second offer of candy, "Hm....monsters, eh? Humans can be quite monstrous themselves at times..." He let his eyes change to his natural bright amber for a moment to see how good the hunter's attention span was.

Samatha hugged her father when she heard him say her mother was dead. "But..." She cried as she wouldn't let go. "This isn't fair! This isn't fair!" She looked at her hurt arm and then berried her face into her fathers chest.
John picked up the rabbit with his free hand and then stood up holding Samatha. He turned to the others and said. "Yeah." He looked at Lura. "Humans." He said bluntly. "Why is her arm hurt?" He asked looking at Achiu and Lura.

Ci'nala did try to follow Achiu; she had intended to. But, when she morphed back and threw her wings up to fly, her wings just...froze. That's all. She couldn't fly at the moment.
W..what? I can't fly? That's impossible. Maybe I just have to wait for a while.

Achiu closed his eyes for a moment as he listened to Samantha cry. He hated to see one so young in such pain. When her father asked what happened to her arm, he smiled a bit ruefully. "Humans," he said, mocking the other male's blunt tone. "A young male, a bit older than Samantha, was being attacked. He roared and a bunch of us came to his aid. Samantha was one of them. Most of us have injuries of some sort," he turned and glanced down his side. "I know this is probably little comfort, but she's not the most injured by far. There is a human boy that was with us who's barely alive."
Just then, he looked behind to see if Yamamoto and Ci'nala were following. He noticed that Ci'nala, at least, wasn't around. "Hmmmm," he looked toward Lura. "Ci'nala seems to have gotten left behind again. If an old Chinese dragon named Yamamoto shows up, tell him I'll be back shortly." With one last sympathetic look to Samantha and her father, Achiu took to the sky and began slowly retracing his path back to Yamamoto's mountain.

Calypso looked back at Kai through the corner of his eye.
Hang in there Kai, we're almost back.
He called, hoping he could keep the boy conscious.
Soon, he broke the trees and nearly crashed into the others. Lura looked over in alarm.
Calypso! Kai!
She took note of them before turning back to John.
Humans.
The white dragoness replied and then went over to the young dragon and human. Looking over Kai, she frowned at his state before she roared loudly to alert Eclipse, wherever he was.

Swinging gently back and forth, Korin could not help but frown. "You really do not like sweets, do you? A pity." Crunching through his third sucker, he smiled at Eclipse's words. "Oh, I know. In fact only sentient creatures have the ability to truly be monstrous. Animals act purely on base instinct, only those that think have the capacity to be horrible."
Seeing the glint of the changing eye color, Korin's smile became more of grin, dark and evil. "Let me do a little show and tell for you." Releasing the branch with his legs, he grabs on and pulls himself into a little acrobatic flip before landing on the trunk of a tipped over tree.
Rummaging through his backpack, he pulls of another dragon-claw dagger. This one a smooth burnished copper, silver highlights glinting in the sun. "This," He said holding the dagger up for him to see better. "Is from the third dragon I have slain on this island. It's special to me for two reasons. One, it took me the longest to get; it is by far my toughest challenge to date. Two, it taught me an important thing about dragons I did not know before." Sprinting towards the man, moving faster than one would think possible; he bent over and whispered into Eclipse's ear. "It taught me dragons could shape shift."
Stepping back from Eclipse, Korin watched the man as he continued his story. "This dagger is from a female dragon, a member of a sub-genus commonly referred to as an Earth-Dragon. She was approximately 38.3274 meters in length, from the tip of her muzzle, to the point of a rather wicked looking set of tail spikes. It took me nearly a month to slay her because, as I found, when she got far enough away from me she would change shape. I realized that I couldn't keep very good tabs because she would get close to a settlement and then change. Now this would not have been all bad, if, she only changed into one form. I have looked at pictures taken of her throughout the month I hunted her. I found while she could change almost any aspect of her physical appearance, her eyes always stayed the same. When I finally did slay her, she was in a local restaurant, a bistro, if you will, eating like any other typical person."
Glancing up at the man, having been studying the dagger. "So I came up behind her and quickly, and simply, cleaved her head off. At first the restaurant was horrified, I was to be arrested. About a minute later though, I received a little gift. She changed. It was a slow process, but within the course of ten minutes she had reverted back to her draconic form. Which I quickly had extracted from the resturant and claimed my trophies from."
Sighing, he looks hard directly into Eclipse's eyes. "Interesting story, no?"
((Boy, I never realized how chatty Korin could be))

Eclipse didn't flinch when Korin came close to him and quietly listened as he continued to tell his tale of the hunt. When the hunter was finally finished Eclipse canted his head and smiled, "Quite interesting indeed...I didn't know that dragons still mingled in today's human society.. and you are quite the determined one to chase her down for so long. Though I'm not so weak as to be taken off guard like that..." Eclipse then heard Lura roar, but didn't move for two reasons..he didn't want to lead the hunter to the others and he wanted to see how strong the human was..
Eclipse finally chose to shift back into his natural from, sitting like some guardian statue before roaring back at Lura, telling her he wouldn't be coming back quite yet. He looked back at Korin, "Tis a shame...I was starting to like you.."" He said as he bared his fangs and narrowed his gaze at the hunter.
Kai nearly fell off Calypso's back when he stopped were the others were at, but held on even through his dizziness. Hearing Lura make him open his eyes again, faintly smiling at the sight of the white dragon before noticing that one of the green blurs was actually another dragon.. something about the color of the new dragon scared him and he fell off Calypso, finally giving into the remaining drugs in his system and the pain from his wound and he passed out on the ground.
Nari stormed through the woods, not quite sure were she was going, missing the fresh small dragon tracks and continuing on her path.. She heard one roar nearby, then another follow not too long after.. she recognized the second as that black dragon that tried to take Kai away before and headed toward where his roar came from figuring he had something to do with her missing boyfriend.

((Taiyou, Ivory, you both kinda forgot Yuran..))Yuran watched the new male arrive and listened as he spoke to the young dragoness. He felt a pang at his heart hearing that her mother was dead, and that humans were the cause. When Achiu began to talk about how Samantha's arm was hurt, Yuran looked to the new dragon. "I did what I could, it will heal as long as she doesn't do anything too strenuous, like lift heavy loads." He said, before looking towards the part in the trees, seeing Calypso and Kai. He swiftly went over to the two. "Are you alright?" He asked the both of them. Nex Remeo Myia looked at Max. "It feels like you are holding a ball of energy..." She looked at the soul. "What a horrible color for a soul." She soul was dark and looked like smog. She took a deep breath. "Are you okay?" She asked when he feel onto the ground. She listened to him then said. "Well then, after this we should rest." She smiled. "Okay." She looked at the soul again and ate it. A displeased look came across her face. "This soul taste terrible." She stuck out her tongue. "Ew..." She took a piece of candy out and ate it. 'The taste won't go away.' She thought as she sucked on the candy.

Calypso felt Kai starting to slip and he crouched low to the ground so he wouldn't fall far. He then looked at the professor and nodded.
I'm alright. Kai is still under the drug's influence though.
Lura shifted after hearing Eclipse's response and then tended to Kai.
That silly girl, she caused his injuries to reopen.
She muttered and began to once again re-bandage his wounds.

Kai sluggishly tried to push Lura away as he slipped into a nightmare, thinking she was attacking him.. but it didn't last long and he ended up mumbling about his parents and Ryan and Izzy in his sleep..

Lura shook her head as he muttered.
Poor kid. Those drugs really did a number on him. Maybe we should collect a few extra dragon irises.
She said as she gently pushed his swatting hands away.
Calypso just huffed a breath and lay down, worry clear on his face.

Kai calmed down after a few moments and curled onto his uninjured side, his face was covered by his arms so Kai's worried murmurs were hardly noticeable.

Lura finished looking after Kai and he curled up.
Alright, now what? We still have those psycho scientists out there as well as a crazed dragon hating girl.
She snorted and crossed her arms.

((...more like comatose..with two little lifelines to keep it alive till it wakes up...
There's only so much I can do with Kai sleeping...so he's just gonna have high tolerance to drug effects..like me. razz ))
Not long later Kai silently wiped a few tears of his face that snuck out when he was sleeping, still a bit foggy on recent events as he tried to remember.. there was those scientists.. then nothing. Kai turn onto his back and looked up at the sky, absentmindedly raising his good arm so he could trace the scar under his heart out of habit.

(I'm here, but Silia's kind of in limbo until either something happens around her cave and/or Achiu and whoever else finally get there and I sent Achiu out after Ci'nala who got stuck back near the mountain with bad wings again. So....)
