Sosay smiled and quietly got up, walking for the door. She left her Mizukage robe on in case anyone where to spot her. That way it wouldn't cause a up roar. Sosay then left the Mizukage tower and headed for her home, so she could change into something more fitting for the celebration time.

The door opened on its own as Z stayed in the shadows, a single candle was the only source of light. The door creaked opened eerily as the darkness welcomed Cherry.

Zane's figure stepped out of the shadows and into the light as he faced Cherry. He was wearing neither the kage robes, nor his traditional assasin cloack. He brushed the side of his hair with his hand as he smiled, glad to have everyone back...except Axel. Kai had come back, and now Cherry, but his little brother was still nowhere to be found. And out of all of them he had the most important mission. "Yes, Kai delivered his message. I see that Axel's not back with you either...so tell me, how was your trip, tell me everything," he asked her as he leaned against the desk.

Zane listened intently as Cherry continued with the report. Watching her closely, she gazed upon those bright pink eyes. As she progressed with her report, Zane continued adding comments and remarks to each part.

"Hmm...a female genin huh, she may have had ties to Mist at some point, maybe a missing nin who was wary of other Mist shinobis, afraid they'll identify her," he stated as she continued listening to the story about Samehada and the Raikage.

"Well, Kai's and Axel's mission in Cloud was to also identify the assasin that killed one of my villagers. According to Kai, they narrowed it down to being a Cloud shinobi. If it was indeed an order mission by the Raikage, then that puts us in a pretty bad situation with Cloud. But in light of the circumstances, we will forget the transgressions made against us. According to you, had it not been for the Raikage, Axel might have never been able to retrieve Samehada," he told her.

"So the meeting with the Otokage was short? Well I hope Axel did his job, it was his mission to collect information on the shinobis of separate villages, to know what we're up against and to measure the strengths of the other countries," he told her as she finished her report. He stopped leaning against the desk and stood straight, looking back at her. "Well, now that we have the formalities out of the way," he sighed as he walked up to her and embraced her in his arms. "I'm glad that you've returned safely," he told her as he held her tightly. He had indeed missed a lot...so much, that it was rather frightening for him.

"I know...but I have to try to ensure that my feelings and my role as Kage are kept in check. You're the only one I trust to be my diplomat, my ambassador to other villages. Sosay is still young, Kai's not a people person, and Axel...well he'd probably make things worse," he chuckled as he explained the reason why he had to send Cherry away. It was just that, she was a person who remained calm and showed a sense of poise and dignity wherever she went. Looking down, he gave her a soft kiss on her forehead and smiled. "But hey, the village of Kiri is throwing a festival, you should go and have some fun, no missions for the time being," he told her.

"Welll, then how about I go with you then..." he asked her. "If you come with me, we could stick to the shadows and don't really have to be involved, simply watch. The villagers were excited about the celebration, it was even Sosay's idea to throw the festival. With the death of the previous Mizukage, I figured the village needed some cheering up. But you know me...that's also not my type of scene so I was simply just going to stay here and finish some paperwork," he explained.

"Alright then...lets go..." Zane told her as the candle blew out the moment he said those words. With the candle put out, the entire room was enshrouded in darkness. This was how Zan had always been raised, to the point that his eyes could see through the darkness without fail. He could see Cherry standing next to him as if the lights were on. With a single seal Zane was able to travel through the shadows with Outou in his arms. Lifting Cherry up, Zane merged into the shadows, dissapearing completely.

Axel entered the tower and waved at the secretary. Making his way up the stairs, he reached the door of the Kage and looked at the doorknob. Opening the door and entering the darkness that was the Mizukage's office, an eerie mist rolled outside, giving the office an even further ghostly mistique. He entered the office and closed the door behind him, ensuring that everything was just as it was before he opened the door. He turned on a single candle and decided to figure out what the others were up to, so he leaned against the desk and closed his eyes, performing a single seal and letting his mind expand throughout the village.
