Burn. in. HELL. But he knew that Cain wasn't bluffing, he had Moya in a position that could kill her. Shaking in rage now he shifted back, Cain's blood covering his jaw and down as he chest heaved. "Let her go, Cain." He was barely on a thin thread of control, the thought of any man touching Moya the way he did made him want to destroy the population.

Cain laughed coldly, making Moya turn her neck to the side and licked from the base of her neck to her jaw. "Easy there wolfy boy. What Moya doesn't know is that her parents were trying to figure out how to live longer, and found that a shifter's blood is the best way. They have made it to where it is contagious if the smallest amount of saliva gets into the blood stream, they are to be like you." He grew some fangs and gently scraped along her neck, taking in a deep breath.
Moya fell very still, refusing to make any noise or to show any displeasure. She looked at Nik with fear in her eyes though, that she couldn't hide.

Game over. "I'm so sorry, Moya." Growling he tackled the both of them while in human form, his eyes glowing even more and his fangs coming into play as he bit Cain's hand so deeply that when he pulled back an entire chunk was missing, the fingers that held Moya's hair broken and bleeding. And then he pulled her away with all of his strength, forcing her to roll away before he tore out Cain's throat. A bite wouldn't do anything to him. Damned if he was going to let it happen to Moya.

Cain gurgled as he tried to scream in pain, trying to push him away with his broken and bitten hand. "Damn you!" He gurgled and before your eyes he was healing. He would be hard to kill.
Moya rolled on the ground and hit a tree, her hand shooting to her neck from pain. She removed her hand and came away with blood. Dread filled her but she got up and took off to find Shilo.

Hearing her run Nik stood up again, growling at Cain before tackling him again, biting his throat and ripping again and again. He didn't care how hard it would be to kill Cain, the b*****d wasn't getting a second chance. And even when his teeth found Cain's spinal cord he didn't stop. The blood and the flesh didn't bother him, he had fallen into a state that he hadn't been in since his mother died. A dark pit inside of him that was only interested in the kill.

Cain let out one last gurgle before Nik got his spinal cord, dying once that broke. When he died though he died with a smile on his face, knowing he got Moya and he would be apart of her for the rest of her long lived life.
Moya found Shilo in the tree that Nik left her at. She didn't care her neck was bleeding, she just picked up Shilo and held her close, rocking back and forth while Shilo shifted back.

That smile was going to haunt Nik's dreams for quite awhile. Shaking his head he stood again, walking silently back to Moya and Shilo. He had seen her bleeding when she ran, he could smell it. Not saying anything he came up behind her and turned her so she was facing him, not even caring that he was covered in blood. Tilting her head he flipped her hair to the side, seeing what he had feared and what put a new wave of anger through him. There was a fresh bite mark on her neck, and it hadn't been from him. Damn him. "Come on. Let's go home."

Moya nodded and followed Nik very closely, holding Shilo close as they walked. She picked up the bag and jacket as they walked, not missing a step as they walked.
Shilo clung to her mother with a death grip, not scared of her dad covered in blood. This was all her fault, if she hadn't off run off to that smell they would be home right now and going to bed.

Nik didn't breathe again until he had unlocked the front door and pushed both of them inside, closing it behind him and double locking it. Now the adrenaline was gone, though the rage was still there. Now he was feeling the pain from Cain's blows. He was still shaking from the anger alone, pulling Moya and Shilo into his arms despite the blood and hugging them tight. At least they were safe. After a moment he let them go and went upstairs to the hall bathroom and locking himself in before starting the shower.

Moya watched Nik go before going into their bedroom and starting a bath. She put a few bubbles in it and then got Shilo undressed along with herself and got in the tub with Shilo still in her arms. She stopped the water when it was to her hips and still held Shilo as she cleaned her, not letting her get too far in the water. When she was done she put Shilo between her legs while hers were indian style so she could play while she cleaned up herself. When they were clean they stayed in the tub, having Shilo kind of play with the bubbles even though she wasn't in the mood.

After a good half an hour of scrubbing the blood off of every inch of him Nik came out, wrapped in a towel as he went to their closet and pulled on a loose pair of jeans. Hearing them in the tub he went and stood in the doorjam, watching them before sliding to the ground. Some of the anger was still there, as well as some fear. How did he tell Moya that a psychopath had just turned her into a wolf?

Moya shivered and looked at Nik. "Nik, I don't feel so good." She suddenly got out of the tub and handing Shilo to Nik before puking in the toilet. She did that a few times before laying on the floor and cold sweat gleaming on her skin now besides water.
Shilo shifted and shook dry. She looked up at her dad before crawling along her belly to her mom, putting her nose to her forehead. This was her fault and felt bad. She whimpered loudly, making others realize that if she was in her other form she would be crying.

Guess the time is now he thought as he stood in a flash, picking up Shilo and taking her over to the bed, setting her down. "Stay here, baby." Going back to the bathroom he closed the door so Shilo wouldn't see, kneeling next to Moya and lifting her so she was leaning back against him. Grabbing a towel he wiped the sweat off of her face, wrapping her in another. "Moya....Cain bit you. You're changing over."

Moya started to shiver and shake, hiding her face in Nik's chest. "Nik it hurts. Oh god it hurts." She groaned loudly and her eyes rolled to the back of her head, her body going through convoltions.
