Lloyd side-stepped a few times to avoid the attack the first Shattered gave. He wasn't called one of the fastest for no reason! Swiftly, he drew both of his blades and dashed towards the first Shattered Dream. The Exsphere on his hand glowed faintly as he attacked the first Nightmare, having no trouble at all with his swordsmanship.

Kannan's red eyes seemed to narrow with approval as she landed and made her move back towards him. Opening one arm towards her...he coaxed her with a small twitch of his golden gilded horned head.
"Come prescious Athena...there is so much we can...speak of. But in the privacy of my temple. I'm quite certain those fools that have toldyou so much, have only told you so very...very...little..."

Watching his coy movements, Mel walked slowly towards the bridge, dissapearing from most everyone else as she looked up towards him. Not moving to his arms, she just jumped to the next stone on the bridge, her tails twitching as a signal for him to follow, her movements just continuing as she held onto her dagger, her precious weapon. Somehow, she knew it would help her in the long run.
Pausing, she turned around, wondering aloud, "What are you planning?" Though it was a soft whisper.

The fact his open armed invintation was ignored hardly even seemed to phase him. With as much grace as he possessed he swayed his arm back to his side in time with a step after her. His lips still remained curled upwards as he crooked a finger for her to come back towards him.
"Well first...perhaps getting you into the temple in one piece would be nice. My dear 'less you savor a battle so soon after your last one I'd suggest you linger close to me. The door guardians won't let you pass willingly, even if you are invited..so best to stay near me so that they are not tempted to take a swipe or two at you."
So calmly he spoke..confidently as he took his time walking up the bridge pathway.
"And then..well you have had a very eventful day now haven't you dear? I thought perhaps a little refreshment and relaxation would be in order before we discussed busniess..."

Standing there with her arms crossed for a moment, she weighed her options in her mind as she sighed finally and took slow steps back towards him. Still, she was not sure about his intentions, but she just needed to get used to him, or so she assumed as she stopped in front of him, watching as she waited for what he would do.
"I am quite surprised you cannot control their actions as you did thoes outside of this barrier..." She said with a coy smile, raising a brow and waiting to see his response to that as well. But than she couldn't help but let out a small yawn, hiding it behind her hand as she turned away to attept to fully hide it from his gaze.

Once she had returned to...near his vincinity, he took it upon himself to slide closer to her and shorten the gap seperating their two bodies. With one of his long pointed tails he slithered it like a snake towards one of Mel's own tails to attempt and coil it about the soft fur. All the while smiling his gleaming smile.
"Mmm...and who said I couldn't? I said you were invited, I never said I hadactually given them orders not to challenge you. I'm merely taking advantage of a oppertunity to bring you as close to me as possible...."
Still grinning like the demonic creature he styled himself after, he moved to escort Melantha to the temple gates, never once missing an oppertunity to brush hand or tail against her that presented itself to him.
"You know...it's been quite a few years since I've had the chance to be so near such a...delightful body...."

As she watched him silently she noted with a small smile as he slid closer to her, blinking as soon as she felt something touch her tail. Before she realized what it was she was brought back to his face as he spoke, her eyes narrowing at the last comment as she let out a huff, jumping a few times once he ocassionally brushed her but getting used to it slowly and accepting it as how he...interacted with other dreams.
Pausing in stride at his very last comment she turned to look at him, a frown crossing her features as she spoke evenly, "You may be skilled in the arts of seduction, but don't think that I will willingly give myself to you like most of the other nightmares that come knocking on your door..." She said in a hiss, "I would gladly face thoes nightmares than give in to you..." She clearly spoke in a tone stating that he was not alowed to go that far, though she would let him do other things, and she crossed her arms, still dimly noting their tails were still connected, or more like his was wound around hers.

As she paused, to give him such a stern old matron like talking to...Kannan could hardly surpress his mirth. Lifting a paw to his lips, he laughed softly.
"Oh...how fiesty of you! How utterly daring and prideful! Scolding me as if I were the local lay-about! Melantha...Melantha Melantha Melantha...."
He softly and gently repeated her name as he dropped his paw...but did not in any way make to remove his tail from about hers.
"You've not seen many female nightmares have you dear one? First of all...I'd sooner lay with..with...with a human beast then with one of the tainted dreams! They are disgusting and dispicable beasts that I simply could never stomach to entwine myself with for any sort of prospect of pleasure. It is only the true bloods that appeal to me."
Lifting his hand he moved forwards to obviously stoke his fingers over her cheek reguardless of whether she pulled back or not.
"Only those of the...True blood...the high borns...only those of my own kind appeal to me at all. And Melantha...can you even guess how many of my own kind there are that would grant me any sort of....reprive? Females of my own bloodline are scarce...nigh near extinct due to the circumstances required for our birth. I am one of four remaining remnants of the last war. Mrrrrrr....and only one of them is female and I assure you...she has a passion of hatred for me that I think you could well understand..after all..I displaced her of her position as Lair Lord of this temple....."

Just standing there as he brushed her cheek, she swallowed hard and listened to his so-called tale of the women around him, and she turned away slightly to look at the ground, her eyes lidded as he went on about the other lair lords. She almost seemed to forget about his level in the nightmares, his close proximity causing her to loose herself, though she would never admit that she was like all of thoes other dream ninnies.
Taking a deep breath, she looked up to him as he finished and spoke softly, "Are you quite done...I would love to just move on..." Her eyes trailed towards the temple, "A temple such as this facinates me...of course being blessed in the same atmosphere does help a bit to fule the urge to get a closer look..." She spoke in a tone that was new since she has been in his presence, one that was confertable and relaxed, as if she were just being herself for the first time.

"Ah...but thats right isn't it....your one of the remnants too...though a shattered and rejoined one...pulled from the mist....this was your birthing place after all. Come...perhaps a sense of familarity will...help put you at more ease...."
Reaching out, once again so bold and hardly seeming to care if she approved or not, he reached around to loop his arm through hers and pull her against him if he could manage it as they walked through the entry way of the temple. The guardians he had spoke of were no where to be seen of course....and after entering the temple, he'd be kind enough to give her a few moments to look the place over.
The flat floor was made of what seemed to be black volcanic gladd, obsidian. Great detail had been put into the carvings that streaked across the floor. Looking down, it was as if one were staring into the flames of a sideways burning bonfire. The walls themselves were layered over with plaster, and upon them exquisit designs of dreams in combat had been painted and gilded with gold, silver, copper, and bronze. The room about them glittered in the flash of weapons and armor. Tooth, claw, and blade mingled together in the scenes of warfare...and oddly enough, creatures like Kannan himself were drawn, amid the battle with the Deejarne as well as against.
He would grant her enough time to lay her gaze on the deep braziers filled with crimson flames that flickered by the upraised alter area. Enough time to see the doorway to the sleeping chamber for dreams that wished to have children...just enough time, before he leaned forwards and whispered softly to her.
"My dear let us move on and find you a place of your own to rest. I fear the temple is poorly equipped to accomodate guests,a s it was never meant to be a home...and the grandest of rooms belong to me...though I wouldn't be adverse to shareing them with you...company of your kind I could never percieve as a intrusion and would..so welcome...the nearness of your beautiful self...."

Looking silently around in awe, she glanced over everything and took it all in as if she were going to spend her last moments there. It was amazing, and she felt her fur stand on end almost as the air buzzed around her. The pictures, the walls, the weapons all caught her intrested, she couldn't get enough, and as she took a step foward to look closer she found herself with him right next to her, his whispers filling her ears.
Right away she blushed deeply, her eyes going downcast at his words before she controled it and turned, though starring with a slight glare her eyes were lidded all the same, her shoulders relaxed as she waited for him to signal where she was to rest, "I wish to know everything about this place...and I wish to train as well..." Sighing she moved to look up to him, "You do know more about me, and if I were to learn from you, I know no dream could stop my conquest..." Though it sounded dark, she opted not to point out she was targeting nightmares, as she had no idea how the lord would react.

Was the only real reply Kannan gave to Melantha at first. Since it was that she had opted to come and stand before him...closer to him then she had willingly brought herself before...Kannan had no trouble at all when he decided to lean forwards quickly, his arms reaching out in a quick attempt to snatch Melantha into them as he sought to press his lips to her own in a quick attempt to kiss her.

It all happened in a skilled flash, Mel reconized that lightning speed from the battle before, but she had no time to marvel in it as she suddenly was encircled by strong arms, and her eyes glanced up towards Kannan with slight surprise. Though she could not stop his advances this time, and her eyes fluttered closed with a soft of exsaust from holding them open. She did not respond, though she did not push away, she only waited for him to finish before she opened her eyes, the color of them dark as the lids barely left them open.
"Kannan?" She asked in a hush, the first time she had called him by his name, but than her hands moved to push him away, stepping back lightly as he watched him silently, just watching him.

Though the scenery was far from anything exciting, a rather excited creature seemed to be dazzled by the mere ability to fly. No longer needing the guidance of her sister, the newly formed Celestial flapped her wings in a near clumsy manner. Occasionally, she would dip quite close to the rivers of lava beneath her. The nine tails seemed to dangle limply, seeing as the lavendar creature was still not used to controlling all of them at once. Occasionally, the mere actions of the bumpy flight would cause the circlet upon her head to bounce a bit and glint lightly from the sudden shift of light. Contented bleats seemed to escape the Celestial, only revealing that the Celestial must have been the Celtic Rune dream of Cattle and Wealth.
Behind the lavendar bumbling-bee, a far more elegant creature seemed to drift on through in a near weightless manner. Unlike her companion, she was not as immune to the sticky heat which emminated from the lava flows. "...Ansuz... don't pull so far ahead... you'll tire yourself out!" Of course, her voice hardly made it past a whisper, so the call went ignored. Pausing in the air, she stroked two fingers upon the pale feathers which hung upon her ear. Watching the figure before her, she couldn't help but think about the transformation: Though she has changed into something so elegant... she still treats the body as if it were that old one... sometimes I wonder if I should be glad or horrified about it... A slight breeze caught upon the Deejarne's dark green hair, which only caused it to gently sway.
"...perhaps we might find someone..." Alaynia sighed as she glanced down to the river of sludgy lava below her. She couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed, seeing as she only wanted to go to Nowhere to possibly show off the way her sister looked now. Alaynia certainly had an awkward sense of pride for what she deemed beautiful.

((Morning Peaks))  Kiyette heard all of the commotion with Zaimid and Lloyd and looked over. Nightmares! Two Nightmares were attacking them! She looked at Kukki "What should we do?" She had never seen Nightmares though she had heard her sisters talking about them. They were supposed to be mean vicious creatures with no hearts, at least thats what Saffey had told her, Siyoli said they were confused about their own hearts and even though they may be shrouded in darkness light still exists. Kiyette couldnt leave them to fight on their own. "Kukki Ill be back ok! I promise!" She smiled and ran over to help the boys, she may not be much help but three Dreams are better than two.((Could Kiyette join the fight?))
