"I'll see you later Kayla." Isaac said, returning the smile as he lightly kissed his daughter's forehead before following Siom to the stands. Kayla nodded once in reply as she stood up. "Well, are you ready for our match in the arena Shin-lu?" Kayla asked.

((ohhh, I missed that. Sorry, I was in a rush. Also, I saw Christmas Carol ^^ I want to bake cookies!))
Shin-lu nodded as she set Ilyana down. "Yup, let's go!" She grinned as she walked to the arena.
Ilyana went to the kitchen first and got snacks before heading to the stands with everyone else.

Kayla made her way to the arena grounds while Isabelle decided to perch on her shoulder. "Good luck Kayla!" Mira said, flying next to Kayla's other shoulder. Kayla smiled, nodding in reply to her fairy partner. Once she got there, Isabelle flew off of Kayla's shoulder and landed on Isaac's lap. *Well hello Isabelle, came to watch the match?* Isaac sent in question as he stroked Isabelle's back. *Yes, I thought I would keep you company!* Isabelle sent back in reply.

Shin-lu watched Kayla for a bit and giggled lightly at her friends. She left her weapons sheathed or strapped to her back, not really sure how to start. This was her first time fighting Kayla and she surely had different tactics than Graff or Roy.

You'll never expect what you can't see...
As Isabelle left the arena to sit in Isaac's lap, the arena field immediately burst into a brilliance of white. As if merely standing on light and air, the two contestants stood dumbfounded of there surroundings. Seeming particles of dust made of this light material rose up to the night sky. As the blinding light filled the place, it soon died out to reveal that the contestants were now standing in a forest of overgrowth - leaving bare only the places where they were standing. Although movement was possible, it would be difficult and slow on the ground.
Siom had been in the stands waiting by the time Kayla and Shin-lu made their appearance. He leaned forward in his chair, "This certainly will be interesting!"
Par'il stood up from his seat in the lounge. "Forgive my leave, but I would like to see what will be happening in the arena at current." With that he left for the large building in the center of the arena grounds.
...then, one day, it'll bite ya

Kayla walked into the arena, seeing it change into an overgrowth of forrest. She just stood there, amazed at the results. "Indeed it will," Isaac said in agreement, observing closely.

Shin-lu let out a low whistle as the forest grew in the arena. She hopped up into a tree, feeling like she was back in the forest where she was trained.

You'll never expect what you can't see...
Strangely, the arena now glowed as if being shined upon by the sun, however, the star-filled, night sky could still be seen above. The source of the current lighting was unknown. As everyone took in the scenery, the two fighters could start anytime.

Shin-lu drew her bow and arrow as she continued to hop from branch to branch. The trees were strong here, the branches didn't snap under her weight. that might useful later. Shin-lu looked around. The forest made the arena look larger than it should be. Kayla was in here also, she needed to find her before she did. Shin-lu crept into the shadows of some branches as she scanned the surrounding area, trying to find the girl.
Ilyana meanwhile had started to get hungry and was cooking popcorn on a fire pit that was in the stands.

Kayla saw Shin-lu hop up into a nearby tree. She silently snuck around in the shadows, getting her bow ready. Once she was a good fifty yards away, she shot an arrow in Shin-lu's direction, aiming for the tree she was in.

Shin-lu was still as suddenly an arrow wizzed by and nearly took her ear. Instead, it only took her her hair. Shin-lu drew a mental line from where the back of the arrow pointed and then shot her own arrow to where it came from. Looks like it was going to a battle of bows for a bit.

Josh notice the feild as it changed "well this arena dosent alow magic but the feild changes for the better or the worse depending on who you are............ nice". Josh hopes the fight will be good. He screams "FIGHT!!!!!"
