Star couldn't help but laugh at the Lucy scene. Remembering that Thayli hadn't really looked like he knew who Lucy was when she had mentioned her, Star pointed at her. "That's Lucy." She said informingly, before internally cheering. Star had known Lucy had been behind the shooting, since everyone knew Michael was her boyfriend and Lucy was jealous of Kiyoko. Though, Thayli might not know this. Star will mention it later.

Adrienne coughed behind her hand to cover her chuckle at Shirou's actions and then stopped rubbing Kiyoko's back. So Conall wasn't the shooter. Surprise, surprise. OK, maybe she was bitter at what had happened....

"Would you guys mind helping me with something?" She said to the other students, opening the door up. It would be best to give the couple some privacy. That, and she wanted to talk to Shirou. "If you don't mind."

~...~...~...~

Al's reactions from kind to angered to surprised within a few moments. At the end of the whole scene, he leaned against a stall and sighed. "I'm rather stupid, aren't I?" He hadn't known about anything that had happened and wanted to see the better part in people. After already having a previous incident with Lucy, one would think he would realize there was no good in the girl.

"I'm sorry." He looked sheepishly at the floor and then exited the bathroom. He waited outside for Celia. Wow, he must have looked so gullible...

Kiyoko had felt someone trying to comfort her; perhaps she wasn't quite as alone as she thought. But she was too scared, and partly ashamed to lift her head to see who it was, but later figured out from the talking that it was Ms. Espiosa. As she saw theacher get up, Kiyoko lifted her head momentarly and was silent, eyes puffy red and tearful, giving hte teacher a thankful nod; she couldn't force herself to do much more. She was unnoticabley swaying a bit, as if dizzy; mainly due to just being shot and still weak from it. She felt bad for chasing out the others, and Ray was still silent. Perhaps he was shocked; that would make plenty of sense. But the eerie deja vu feelign was still there, and it scared her still.

Shriou saw where this was going and agreed. "Good idea; we'll be back in a bit." he told the ones still in hte room, planning to stay in there: Ray and Kiyoko. He stopped as he noticed Kiyoko swaying a bit, and pulled up a chair, sitting her down in it. He didn't want her to fall; she was probably still sick. "Be careful with your leg, k? Everything's gonna be fine." he whispered to her kindly, as he followed Adrienne out the door.

Kiyoko was silent as they began to leave; she silently removed the folds from her dark blue bunny-full dress, still looking on the verge of crying again. She hugged herself, unaware of her doll even being on hte floor.

"GET OFF OF ME, D###IT!" Lucy was yellowing ferciously at hte principal, as the principal continued to drag the girl to the front office. Oh, she'd get it in her head all right; she seemed not to realize the problem with this situation.

Adrienne walked away from the door and waited for Shirou, rubbing the bridge of her nose. The bump on her head was really annoying her... She blinked away the pain and smiled feebly at Shirou. "What the hell happened? I heard gunshots and then that young girl comes in with a bullet wound. I'm surprised she can walk, but that's beside the point."

She frowned, looking nervous. "And how did some jackass bring a gun in here?"

((O,o it's unstickied.))
PostPosted: Fri Feb 08, 2008 9:47 pm

((It unstickies itself temporarly when I change the title; I need to put that it was full. Otherwise, we'd have some very lost people right now.))

Shirou watched as Adrienne came to him and asked him what any teacher would ask.

“Kiyoko can walk, but barely. I’m honestly surprised she didn’t fall earlier; she’ll have to be beyond careful right now.

As for what happened, this is what we’ve got so far: Kiyoko and Star were heading back from the showers, when that Michael guy, Lucy’s boyfriend, suddenly grabs her and locks her in the room. After some yelling and screaming from stupid questions (we’re still fuzzy on that til we see the tape), Conall bursts into the door and tries to rescue her. Yeah, I know; hard to believe eh?” he paused as he assumed some sort of surprised reaction.

“Well, I guess those two boys don’t get along well, because then Michael pulled out the pistol and pointed it at Kiyoko, telling Conall to leave. Conall refuses (as if he said anything that would anger Michael, we’re not sure yet), Kiyoko gets shot. I arrived when the two boys were trying to kill each other.

As to HOW and WHY the gun got in; I dunno. The principal is running some tests to see if there was any secondary influence as far as drugs. However……..there was a call five minutes before the attack. From Lucy.” he said flatly at the end, as if having a distaste for the girl now. “So, we have a feeling that she’s somehow behind it. The principal has all the info; she was supposed to be here by now and tell us. I dunno where she is…..”

Ray had been in shock. He didn't know what to do or say for a good amount of time which made him feel guiltier than he already did. HE SHOULD OF WALKED HER BACK! Idiot. He wanted to just kick the crap out of himself, but he couldn't even move at the moment. Seeing Kiyoko cry and burst out like that made him feel worse, like it was his fault for her saddness. It was partly his fault since he kept going after her. He should of just let things be and she would of been happy and safe.

Once he snapped out of his shocked state he went and embraced her. He kissed her temple gently. "I'm sorry..." he whispered in her ear softly. He didn't want to let go of her, he didn't want her to be in so much pain. "None of this is your fault. You have no reason to be sorry. You did nothing wrong... you did nothing wrong..." he whispered to her, kissing her cheek gently a couple of times.

Celia held her ground even though she wanted to kick the s**t out of Lucy. And she was just about to when the principal pulled out out by the pigtails. She started laughing right as the principal pulled Lucy out of the room. She took a minute to regain her composure and then realized Al had left.

Slowly she walked outside and saw him there with a sullen and some-what embarassed look on his face. She rubbed his back gently. "It's okay... She puts on a good act. You just have to know her long enough..." she said softly, almost as if she could read his mind. "Come on, lets go check on Kiyoko."
PostPosted: Sat Feb 09, 2008 2:08 pm

Kiyoko had stood back up but shakely, not wanting to be the weak link or anything by being the only one in the room sitting down. She wasn't sure what do do next.

Suddenly, what she secretly had been hoping for, deep deep deep with her mind and soul, happened. As Ray ran to her and embraced her, she embraced him back and tightly, as if holding on to a final light within this dreary time that would sweep her away to a forasken land of terror. She buried her head into his chest and just cried, trying to rid the raw emotion eating away at her like some sort of disease, while laying safely in his arms. Ray was kissing her softly, comforting her, telling her she was not of the blame. She couldn't help but smile softly at this once, but turned her head momentarly before resting it against Ray's chest again. She was hoping things between them would not change because of this, like it did to so many people last time...but for now, she was going to relax herself in this moment; to let whatever God's decision was, to let it happen. He was watching over her, right? Both God and Ray, anywho.

As the emotion of sadness and fear was slowly leaving her through her eyes, she realized something. Ray seemed to be holding something in; she couldn't figure it out at first, but then looking at the obvious...

She finally lifted her head, partly feeling bad for staining Ray's shirt with tears, and finally smiled again as she spoke, wiping away tears from her eyes.

"T-T-Thank you, so much."

She beamed at him for a moment with still teary eyes, and wiped at her eyes again. Ray had no idea how much this meant to her.

"N-neither is it yours. The b-blame, I mean." she answered in return, still holding onto Ray in an embrace; she didn't want to leave just because she was becoming happy again, despite still sounding shaky, plus it'd be hard to walk alone. "People getting shot in school i-isn't all that common; there was n-no way to avoid it, and no one expected something like that f-from Michael. T-That's not your fault." she said. No one thought that Lucy's boyfriend would be that mean anyways. Just this thought still scared her, and she didn't let go of Ray, but rather tightented her grip.

Lucy was now in a locked room, and beside her was Michael...tied up and looking angry. This was like out of a horror movie, for she was being tied up as she stared in anger. "What is THIS?!" she asked the principal, who was standing in front of the door with two police on either side. "You can't just tie people up; that's terriosm in it's full-"

"TERRIOSM, Lucy Maryann Miles, is more like being responsible in a SHOOTING an innocent student, in my opinion as well as others." The principal answered fiercelly. "It's bad enough being the 'new kid' as it is, and you just made her life a hell on earth. I hope you're proud of yourself." she responded, before looking at some samples brought into her by a nurse. "Ah, doing steriods, are we, Michael? Looks like you can kiss football goodbye." he asked the boy.

Michael had tried protesting as he watched his girlfriend being tied up much like himself. At the principal's statement, he realized she had a point. But the last question made him freeze; so those were drug tests he just did...he was doomed.

Adrienne kept on rubbing the bridge of her nose, making it turn pink, and looking more and more distraught. "Why didn't.. .. Why didn't anyone see anything?! Why couldn't anyone of them stop that retard?!" She started to pace. "That poor girl..!"

What had been a calm and composed woman turned into someone who was genuinely worried about her students. She even started to tear up a little. "It's not fair.."

~...~...~...~

Al stood silent for a moment, listening to her soft voice, and taking it all in. "Alright." He let Celia start to walk in front of him and then grabbed her hand reflexively.

His eyes were hard with thought; deciding whether or not to make a move. "Um... Celia..." His face was blank, for once, but his gaze was still intense. Should he do it? Was it too soon? They had only known each other for a day...

Throwing caution to the wind, Al pulled her gently closer to him, close enough to feel each other's warmth but still not touching. He let her hand go, giving her a chance to turn away if she wished. "I'm not sure how to say this.. but..." It seemed like Al wanted to be bold with her, the way his hands were moving to brush against her own but stopping halfway, not wanting to be too forward.

A slight blush washed over his cheeks and he looked her in the eye. "I like you."

((Aww, yay for Al! He did it! smile ))

Shriou watched her pace back and forth, seeing Adrienne actually tear up. That wasn't good. "I dunno; it's not like Michael to suddenly pull out a pistol! He HAD to be on something, and more than just Lucy's word. As farfetched as it sounds, I can't think of another reason..."

He sighed as he put a comforting hand on her shoulder. "It's not fair, I agree completely. It's bad enough she's already been attacked before. But this time, she's got Ray." he said nodding to hte closed door at which Ray annd Kiyoko were on the other side. "We'll have to keep a better eye on the students, especially Kiyoko, but I have a feeling that she's in good hands." he added with a smirk; he was seeing a different Ray now, Kiyoko had done what Shriou thought impossible.

The phone ran in the other room. The principal told the two men to watch the students, and ran to the phone ringing in her office. After a very long conversation with teh boards, she hung up the phone with a grin. The students were gonna stay on the second floor now; this was good, and easier to patrol. But before teh announcement, the girl. The principal headed towards the nurses' office, papers and a video tape in hand. It was 11:35 pm, after looking at her watch. It was hard to believe the girl was shot at 8:20.

Adrienne leaned into his hand, looking down at the floor, wiping at her eyes. "Ugh... I must seem so silly, huh?" Unconsciously, she had moved closer to to the teacher.

"M-maybe we should bring the rest of the football team in, see if they knew anything about the gun.." She was slowly composing herself once more.
PostPosted: Sat Feb 09, 2008 3:09 pm

"No, not at all! It's important to worry about the students..." he said in a kind soft tone. The teacher noticed that Adrienne seemed to move closer, and he noticed that he had as well. But he didn’t think much on it at the moment, even though he noticed his heart skipping beats.
"That's a good idea; we should probably wait til tomorrow though, it's already past 11, when we WERE planning lights out-"

"It's been extended, Mr. Kiyoshi; we're planning to move people to this floor, now that the classroom where the shooting occurred has been cleaned. As far as we know, til this storm ends, we control the schedule."

The Principal came towards them, papers and a video tape in hand. She handed the tape to Mr. Kiyoshi. "I'll let you hold onto this, that way you can give it to the kids when they’re ready to watch it, if they do. Where’s Kiyoko?”

Shriou felt bad for being caught off guard like that; not that there was anything suspicious with being next to Adrienne, right? He took the tape and nodded. “She’s in the room right there, but not to be bossy, but I’d wait til she’s feeling more composed.”

“Ray is in there with her, isn’t he?”
“Yeah.”
“That’s good. The more friends the better in this case. Before I make an announcement and the kids fight for rooms, I was going to let this group pick the first classroom; they’ll need one with some sort of flat and level surface for Kiyoko anyways. Sleeping on the floor won’t be good for her leg.” she explained. “And being away from the mess that’s been going on would be good.” she added. She‘d wait here for the two to come out and the rest to regroup.

Adrienne jumped at the principal's surprise entrance and backed away from Shirou. "Oh, Good Evening." She tilted her head at the comments. "N-Not to sound rude. but Kiyoko shouldn't stay in the nurses' station? I mean, her wound might get infected."

She didn't want to take the wound lightly. "She's be shot. We can't just put a bandaid on her and send her on her way.." She looked down into the room. "There are plenty of other beds, so she wouldn't take up room. The others won't stay here, of course." Adrienne realized she must've sounded very forward and bowed her head. "If you like the idea."
PostPosted: Sat Feb 09, 2008 5:04 pm

"I see what you mean; I wasn't trying to imply that at all, if that's what it sounded like, I apologize." the principal, Ms. Maria Wallen, said quickly.

"Your idea is quite logical and it would be what I would normally suggest. However, there is one problem to this: many aren't going to want to leave her here alone, figuretively speaking. Kiyoko is probably quite low on self-confidence at this point, and it was being almost alone that got her in this mess in the first place. Since this has happened before and had been shunned because it was three star sports players, isolating her would stick this fear back into her, which could cause a mental breakdown."

"Lord knows Ray would put up a fight." Shirou muttered to himself, then bowed in apology as the principal looked at him funny. But he knew that Ms. Wallen had a point; Kiyoko bursting into tears had to be some sort of breakdown.

Instead, Ms. Wallen laughed. "True, true; there's also that factor. Someone will end up spending the night in the same room with her, unless we want a revolt. I'd normally suggest having them all here, but that wouldn't be wise with the amout of people we've had sick and injured today. So really, I'm not quite sure what to do." she shrugged. "Which is why I came to you two; you're more of my smarter teachers, honestly, and I appreciate the feedback you are both giving me."

Adrienne massaged her temple, which had started to throb once more, and blinked. "Well, we can always get some blankets and pillows for the boyfriend. The chairs here aren't that bad, if not, the floor. It's what all the students are going to get, right Ms. Wallen?" She looked over to Shirou and then back at the principal. "The others can visit tomorrow." She paused, and then continued. "Personally, in a situation like this (The whole trapped because of weather and attackers running around school thing. We still didn't find out who the person was who had kidnapped Lucy) I suggest a martial law sort of thing.

"I mean.. um... We've had three attacks, four including mine, and the students are getting restless. We shouldn't let the students travel where ever they want." She looked sheepish once more. "A-at least, that's my suggestion."
