Remus connected with her eyes a second time, sending her two images. One of them leaving the infirmary as he used her arm for support after their first sparring match. The second was of her giving him energy to walk back to the base after she helped him with his family's funeral. He used her words from the second memory. "It's what I do for someone I love."

Dorien didn;t bother looking at her knowing very well he had hit a nerve. He was right afterall and he was sure all of the others elvan kingdoms felt the same way. He opened the page and began to read...

She shook her head before nudging him lightly, "I think we have worried the doctors long enough, but the wedding plans must be discussed."

Remus took her arm again and began moving for the door. "Then we'll head back to the Infimary and talk there. Everybody wins."

"What happened to father?" She asked quietly when he had fallen asleep. Her brother had run off somewhere.
"One of the armies they tried using iron arrow heads. Your father was hit in the throat. We were able to get the head out and isolate the wound so the poison didn't spread....but it seems that...it is spreading. None of the healers can do anything for him..."
Magnolia stared at her mother in horror, "But...." She gave a panicked look at her father then glared, "I'll do it." She remembered when Dorien had been shot.
Her mother touched her shoulder, "It's impossible darling. As an elf, iron is deadly to us, just as it is to fae. Our magic doesn't work on it at all."
She was about to protest but then decided she'd talk with her father about it. For now, he needed rest and her mother wanted to spend more time with her. She'd talk with him tonight.

Lina nodded and began to walk towards the Infirmary, "With all of the events happening before, I never realized that he never talked about the plans sooner. What being should marry us for instance?"

Dorien ocntinued reading, taking a few seconds to read the page before moving on. He had learn in the past that just to be quick physical was useless if you didn't have a quick mind. His eyes went through each sentnce, his brow furrowing slightly as he was done with the aftermath and came closer to present times. So much anger for foolishness... he thought before closing the book, I need to talk to the leaders and get this settled with.

An odd look crossed Remus's face as he realized the exact same thing. "That's a bit important isn't it. How did we manage to forget that?" As though on cue, Lotan turned the corner. A smile slowly spread across his features and he looked at Lina.

Lina arched and eyebrow as she looked at Lotan, her head lowering slightly in respect before looking at Remus and then Lotan once again, "Hello Lotan..it has been a long time..." she said slowly not exactly sure how Lotan even stood infront of her..and without Aurora.

Lotan paused as Lina addressed him. "Yes, it has." He saw the look on her face and figured what she was thinking. "I have a tracking spell to keep an eye on Aurora at the moment. She and Seine are catching up..."

That answer clearly calmed the Lotus Leader somewhat, but the mention of Seine and Aurora 'catching up' brought a slightly worse feeling in her mind, "Well, let us hope they don't get bored easily." she replied before the thoughts of marriage returned to her mind. If they were both of the same race things would be so much easier to think of but.. she looked at Lotan and then lowered her head once more, "Lotan I have a rather odd question to ask of you, but considering the situation you're the only one I feel would be appropriate for the matter at hand."
She straightened slightly, wincing as the new weight on her leg shot pain through her, "Would you marry us?"

Lotan paused for a moment, a blank look of mild surprise on his face. He thought about this for a moment before nodding. "I see your point." He looked first at Remus and then at Lina. Slowly a kind smile appeared. "I would be more than happy to do just that."

[I was thinking that Emit should be Awakened a little sooner than later. Tell me what you think about that.^^ And after this I gotta go....-sighs-]
Lina smiled in return before holding onto Remus' arm a little tighter, "Thank you Lotan. Frankly, I don't think anyone else would do it." she had thought of the other Leaders, but considering their particular...lifestyles it was wise to choose Lotan. Maybe the bonds between vampires and lycans could be closed with such a powerful Leader at their side.

When she'd arrived, her mother had been in the middle of baking. Both of them returned to the kitchen and after Magnolia washed her hand she finished helping her mother. Soon they had a few batches of cookies in the oven.
