I love how we, the intelligent members of Gaia, get treated like ******** n00bs by the people running this guild. Who, mind you, barely even post in this guild anymore. Like we're going to do a bunch of knock-off threads... We're not going to copy threads over and over because we don't need to for one. It's also boring considering the fact that we're not brainless idiots. Then again, what can you expect from a neoptistic moderator staff. Couldn't even be bothered to pick new moderators from the people who have actually earned a right to be a moderator of this forum, we have to pick people who have to introduce themselves because the regular guild members have no idea who the ******** they are. But oh boy, lets treat these people like they all belong in the chatterbox. What a bunch of ego-centric bullshit from up high. You want ego-whoring, go visit seltzer. All I want is some god damn pictures so I can put something new in my sig and I'm supposedly a major ego-whore.
I held my tounge when Mini did her neoptistic moderator move cause I figured they wouldn't ******** up the guild too bad since they're never around. But now that they're going to treat me, and the rest of us like some group of newbie chatterbox posters I'm going to speak my mind about this crap.
Consider this my vote of no confidence in The Mini-Management.
And don't even think about deleteing this post because you don't like it. It's exactly what this thread was for. Speaking what's on my mind.

Personally, I hadn't even really noticed that big of a change in the guild. Call me oblivious, but I notice TMM around a lot more than I did Setzer, and things are bound to be rough for a while. They're trying. Honestly, I think your topic would've gotten locked even if Setzer were still around. I practically live in the CB, home of all the n00bs, the worst of the worst, and they could be treating us a hell of a lot worse - but they're not.
Things are going to change. Can't stop that. They might get worse, they might get better, they might get worse and then better. We won't know unless we wait until they do, and that's what I plan on doing, at least.
I have faith that TMM and Pyre and Rayi and all the other mods will work things out. If you don't, well, no one's forcing you to stay. Personally, I'd miss you if you abandoned the guild, but if it's making you that unhappy then maybe that's what's best.
And now I am going to take my lazy and tired self and go watch some shooting stars. G'night.

Speaking what's on my mind. With new management comes new issues. I agree that yes, at times some of the members get treated like n00bs, and honestly it irks the living s**t out of me. There really isn't much you can do other than address them about it personally when it comes up. All I can suggest about that is to privately discuss the problem that you have with them, and hope that you get an understanding/logical response. I'm not sure if you've already tried that, and if you have and it failed? I can understand why you're speaking out. Hell I can see why you'd be speaking out regardless, but if you've already tried it'd make things a lot clearer. Hmm. Well, I know some of the staff members hardly posted here, or never posted here for that matter, and I can see where you're coming from when you're saying that the guild is becoming neoptistic in its choice for staff. There are other deserving members, but I guess friendship and familiarity can blind ones choice due to a sense of trust. I guess it was just trust driving their decisions, and not a matter of "regularity" or "responsibility". I don't think there's much you can do about the matter, as I've found that getting your opinion through can be quite difficult. I too have noticed that a few of the staff have gone AWOL, or so it seems, but I believe there is a reason for that. They may be experiencing hectic times in real life, or have just been busy with work. I myself have started school, and haven't really had time for Gaia. That's my explanation atleast. *shrug* The thread in question did seem a bit ego-centric, but I didn't find it too harmful. Hell, I found it a bit amusing. I had asked Mini of her opinion, and I got my response. Your thread was locked, and Pyre had agreed about it. But I don't know about the whole "I'll get consultations from the Mods". I was a bit hesitant in what to do about it myself, and I myself wasn't asked what to do about it. I guess I can kinda see how you come off as an ego-whore to some people, but I just find it as you trying to joke around. Oh, and I don't believe anyone would delete your post. Why? Because that's just a childish way to avoid conflict, and I know that the staff members are above that. Thank you for your time, and I hope I've helped with /something/. sweatdrop
