Well, they are remote controlled.
So sometimes other remotes will open them. Stuff like that.
Like Lightning/thunder set off my neighbors smoke decors. And when one of my neighbors and myself would use our garage remotes a close to the same time, it would open the door to someone else's garage. XD
But we go and close it. It hasn't done that in over a year though.

Okay, so I'm trying to explain Fullmetal Alchemist's view of alchemy to this guy on another rp site I'm a part of, and he's not understanding a word of it. He keeps saying that it's a fantasy universe, that we can change it a little, and say that the alchemy is a form of magic, but it's not magic! It's a science, according to the show, and that's how I want to rp my character, seeing as her parents are both from the show. If I don't rp it the way it's supposed to be played, then I won't be doing the canon characters any justice and it just won't feel right. If I do the rp the way he suggests, then it won't be alchemy any longer, which defeats the whole purpose of my character being an alchemist. >_____< I will love you until my dying day...

That sounds like an annoying issue...I hope this guy sees it your way Fate.
That would really bother me. I'd want to keep it like the original characters were supposed to be intended. I've started reading the FMA mangas...and that sounds stupid for him to want to change it to "magic", when it's clearly science. ^_^"

Come what may...It infuriates me even more that he wanted to use a wiccan symbol as a transmutation circle to make water. D< Although there is a transmutation circle that looks like the symbol he was wanting to use, it wasn't used to make water... >__< And that is where I draw the line. Transmutation circles are not 'magic' circles, the symbols in the transmutation circle have meaning. >__< At least, from what I've gathered.
I'm considering just stopping the rp I'm doing with him right now because he can't understand the principles and concepts of FMA alchemy. >____< I will love you until my dying day...

my mac is being stupid gonk it wont boot up all the way sad Apple Support over the phone sucks cuz its an older laptop and they cant help me.
I have a friend who is a Mac guru but he is working so now I have to wait for him to get a hold of me. . *sigh*

So computer is fixed now ^^
didnt lose anything but i backed everything up, just incase. I used my install disks and reinstalled my OS, but i was able to keep everything on it that i had so i didnt have to start from scratch.
