David looked up at the ceiling, holding the elixier flask as he sat in the dark room by himself. He reached into his left leg pocket, pulling out a silver container that he flipped open and revealed six cigarettes and a lighter.
He pulled out one cig and the lighter, placing the cig inbetween his lips and held the lighter that now lit up a small portion of the room next to the cancer stick. He lit the death stick and put the lighter back into the container, and the container back into his pocket from which it was revealed from. He placed two of his right hand fingers on the butt of the cig and pulled a long drag off of it, then pulled it away from his lips and breathed out, letting a trail of smoke escape his lungs and mouth.
He coughed heavily, for this was his first cig, his friend gave them to him before he came to the BC, but he never wanted to try one, just took them as to not offend his friend.
"I'm never smoking again... I'll sell the cigs and probably get some money for pocky..." He murmered off and took a small drag off the cig.
He made a twisted disgruntled expression to himself. "Great i'm smoking... What's next... Me beating up some kid half my size and age...?" He questioned himself for being stupid and thinking this would ease his mind and pulled the cig from his lips, licked his index and thumb, and pinched the lit end of the cigarette to put it out. Brushing the ashes on his pants as he got up off the floor, sheathing his sword, and opened up the door to the training room. He closed it behind him as he held the cig in his left hand, and closed the door with the other.
He looked around to see some crazy dressed guy sitting on the couch. He shouldn't even think he looked crazy, he had only his beige carpenter pants that were shredded on one pant leg and a sword. Fashionable. He looked to the right and saw 9, possibly crying but he couldn't tell. He figured after what he pulled it was best that he didn't disturb her and walked out of the dojo to the stairway, and to the grass, where he dropped the cig and stomped on it with his bare foot, getting ash marks at the bottom of his dirty foot. He sighed and wondered again if he should talk to 9.
Nah... She wouldn't want to talk to you after doing that... She is head of the BC for Christ Sake! Well... Dreams can come true I guess... He let his thoughts wander as he sat at the top step of the stairway into the dojo.

“If you want to say something David then say it, don’t hold your peace. You never know when you will get the chance to say what’s on your mind again.”
Her voice was flat as she spoke. There was no note of sadness or anger in her voice. She spoke as if she knew what he was thinking. Not once did she bother to look up from were she was setting. 9 tucked her legs up close to her body as she activated every trap in the dojo with a simple jester.
“How did the fight go with Shadow and Wolf? Is Shadow dead yet?”

David blinked, slightly intimidated by 9 with her mind reading abilities, or great social skills. He didn't look back but just stared up at the sky, blinking and admiring the beauty of the stars.
"I don't know. They disappeared into the earth apparently from what I saw."
He stopped there, wondering what words ot put together next, kinda thinking he shouldn't of put that cancer stick out and destroyed it. He sighed and turned his head, getting 9 into the corner of his eye before speaking, his mouth and nose against his bare shoulder and arm.
"I'm not sure what I have to say, I guess i'm just worried about you..." He let his voice trail off as he just sat there with his head turned towards her, but his body facing the completely opposite direction, and only his eyes peeking up from his shoulder. "Something is going on, and I don't know what it is." He moved his head back to the left, looking at the groudn at the bottom of the steps.
"I thought the BC was a team 9... We are supposed to tell eachother everything..."

9 lefted her head and sighed as she heard him speak about the BC being a team.
"We were a team once.... The strongest team ever. Noone messed with a BC member in fear of having the guild come down on them. We would never leave am enamy alive. we where more then a guild.... we were family. To some it was the olny family they ever knew"
There was a lost pride as she spoke about the way things once were with the guild

David got up from sitting on the stairway, turned around and looked at 9 who had rose her head and walked over to her. He stood infront of her and reached behind his neck, unlatched his silver cross form his neck and got down on to one knee and offered her the necklace.
"Take it, it's a piece of jewelry my creator gave to be four years before he died. He treated me like a son and I have never been able to tell him he was just like a father to me. The BC can be like that again, you just need to think how seperated we are right and how many secrets everyone is hiding from one another. You gotta find those secrets out, and reveal your own to everyone. That's how a family is, they stay together."
He smiled at her still holding the necklace out for her to take as it dangled off his index and middle finger.

9 took the necklace and put it on. She didn’t know what to say to him. She smiled softly as the jester of good faith.
“I don’t even now where to begin if I was to tell my secrets. I’m not even sure if the guild would follow me it they knew what I have done.”
She said softly. Her eyes turned to Hitoshi and looked him and down
“Hello may I help you?”

He smiled back at her softly and got up off his knee, and stood up straight. "If they trust you, and they love you like the family they once were, they'll follow." He turned in the doorway and walked over to it and stopped and turned back to 9.
"If you need anything, i'll be at Silver Moon Plains. I'm sleeping there now." He grinned and and scratched the back of his head. "I like the starlight." A stupid grin passed over him as he knew he was going to be hit by a fireball or some explosive magical attack or a rifle pointed at his groin. The thought of that made him cringe.

David didn't wait to see if she'd throw a dagger or something at his head and jumped off the stairway, taking air form.

9 looked around the empty gaia. She was no longer sure about the paths she had taken. To her the BC was a cold and uncaring plce. Now it was full of life and friends.
9 looked over to Hitoshi
