Nina held her arm out in front of her, palm towards Growlithe and Charmander, turning as they rolled around.
"Nina! Don't!" Misdreavus said. Nina bit her lip.

After departing from the train Mitsu went straight to the Pokemon Center. "Excuse me," she began a bnit hesitantly, "May I have two bowls of Pokemon food?"
"No need to be shy dear." She replied. Nurse Joy walked into the back and brought out two red bowls filled with Pokefood. The trio sat at a table and began to eat. well her Pokemon did anyways. Mitsu put her egg into her pack which was cushioned with two towels to prevent the egg from breaking. She also with drew an apple and a bottle of water for herself. The three ate quietly not uttering one word.

Nitro, pinned to the groud, was peirced by Growlithe's sharp teeth, sinking into his other arm. The dog had skill, and knowladge on how to hinder Pokemon...
But not this one.
Charmander let out a cry of pain then glared at the usurping Pokemon, his eye's shone white as he let out a growl, his body now enveloped in an angelic glow. After a large morphing sequence, the light faded, and the little lizard that was Charmander was no more, Nitro was now, a Charmeleon.
His wounds healed, Nitro threw the Growlithe off of him. Letting out an angry roar, it lept to his feet, ready to attack again.

"Oh my! Charmander evolved!" Kasiya gasped, then turned to Mike. "Please, don't let Nitro hurt him too much!" she begged, her eyes desperate. "He's just scared! Mike!" Her eyes welled up with tears as Growlithe howled at the sky in anger. It lunged again, its fangs bared in a blind rage.

Nina lowered her hand when she saw Charmander evolve. She took a further step backward, intimidated by it; it didn't occur to her that Charmeleon was paying no attention to her, since it was preoccupied with Growlithe.

Nitro, seeing the attack, stepped aside and dropped his guard, talking in pokemon speak to Growlithe.
"Char, Charmeeeeleon! Me!" Attempting a soothing voice was difucult for a vocal chord so raspy.
It seemed like Nitro was trying to convince the Growlithe to trust him, and his trainer, that no harm would come of him. He subtly brought his guard up, just in case he chose not to listen.

Kilik walked up to the Pokemon Center, cuddling the Eevee in his arms. When he looked up, he noticed the Growlithe and Charmeleon fighting one another. "Whoa!!" he said, approaching the two Pokemon. He set the Eevee on the ground. "What happened here?" he asked, looking at the three other trainers. The Eevee sniffed the air and noticed a Pokemon in the corner: a Vaporeon. As Kilik tried to handle the two fighting Pokemon, the small little Eevee sat next to the Vaporeon. "Who started this?" Kilik asked.

((I'm gonna catch a Magikarp soon. Is that okay with everyone?))
After finishing the meal Mitsu returned the bowls of food to Nurse Joy and headed out. She walked over to one of the two small ponds in Petalburg and took out her Old Rod. I hope everything is okay with Kasiya, Mike and Nina she thought hoping for the best if they were indeed in danger.

Growlithe faced Nitro again, its chest heaving from exhaustion. His body covered in deep scratches, he barked angrily at the Charmelon, its tone unchanging. It lunged again, its teeth sinking into Charmeleon's arm. Nitro growled, and with a powerful shrug and using its newfound strength, sent Growlithe flying back several feet. It got to its feet, stumbling, and repeated the attack.

Nitro, seeing that fighting wasn't going to solve this problem, since it was the cause, grabbed Growlithe by the mouth and closed it shut. He then tried one more time to speak some reason into the fire dog.
