Something was wrong, he could feel it, it's not like he wanted to blurt out, but the sudden rush of thoughts just made him do it, now he just felt like an idiot, his ears plastered against his skull like the red males and he sighed slightly, there wasn't much of a topic to talk about between the two, not one.
His ear's then perked up and he decided to delve into the lions privacy, it's not like he was being rude just asking a simple question...although, he did have a nagging feeling in the back of his head and pondered whether to ask it the way he did last time, as the male did seem a little offended.
He then cleared his throat and looked at him, laying down and placing one of his paws ontop of the other as his small juvenille body looked puny compared to the huge bulk of the Firekin.
"Sooo....uhhmmm why did you leave your pride Mwali?" He asked him more softly this time, his pale violet eye's making contact with the deep green ones of his foster mothers new 'companion'.

He shrugged as much as he could with a wounded shoulder, "Many reasons... where I came from my days were just like the day before. I never had to do anything for myself and I was tired of being a useless pile of fur and bones whose only purpose was to rule if his brother died. I don't want a pride of my own... too much responsability and I was never taught how to manage anything. I came for a new life... and hopefully..." he took a shy glance to Koho, his whiskers flaring a but- the equivilant of a feline blush, looking to his paws he completed his sentance, "A mate to share it with." That was a bit embarassing but he might as well say it. Keep honest not just with himself but with the female and the rest of her pride as well.

All of a sudden, the male's eye's widened and one of them twitched uneasily, he was looking for a mate? And what was that shy look to Koho? And those flaring whiskers!!! The young lion wanted to throttle the adult if it was what he thought the male was thinking, well if it was he would never let his foster mother become his mate.
He then gained his composure and placed a faux smile on his lips, trying to look as cheery as he possibly could as he looked at Mwali, thoughts of Koho giving birth to little Firekin hellians instead of his ow-...wait, why was he thinking this? It was Koho's own choice if she wanted him or not...but still he kept feeling like some angry rabid lion bent on killing as that sentence flew across his mind over and over again.
But he shook his head only slightly and continued to smile, his black hooked claws digging into the ground slightly as he took his anger out on that instead.
"Well....good luck..." His words where as bittersweet as anything, but he then coughed slightly, trying to think of something else before he gave a more serious glance to Mwali.
"Y'know....you still didn't answer my question back on the plains...what where you thinking attacking that zebra from the back??"

He sunk further into his mane, watching the male carefully now. Animals had an almost sixth sense when it came to emotion, they could smell them in eachother- that's how many things in nature accured. One would know another's mood by their scent and base decisions on wheather or not to approach or dare to even look in their direction. Mwali could smell anger dispite the young one's attempts at masking it physically. He was doing quite well- if not for his claws and his scent he would look quite happy with everything. What could have set off such a dangerous emotion though? Mwali retraced his words for anything offensive in them and upon finding none he was slightly more confused. Hearing the question he looked away again, making a little circle in the dirt with his good paw, "It was my first hunt...."

[[Can I have one of the bebeh's if you decide to breed Koho and Mwali? xd heart ]]

Jasiri slowly carried the carcas towards pride rock with the help of the queen. Her body quiverd uneasyily with the weight of half the zebra. Finnaly with much exaustion, they reached pride rock, and she could feel the body slip slowly off her shoulders. She heaved a large sigh of relif. She felt so light, with all that weight lifted off her, like she was floating. "There we go. If you dont mind your highness, I think ill take some meat to Mwali, and see how hes doing." She scanned the carcas, looking for a nice peice to pring to him. She sunk her teeth in the hind leg of the animal, tearing out a large chunck. She made her way to the place Mwali usually slept, assuming he'd be there. When she saw him, her pace quickend. "Mwali! Are you feeling alright? I brought you some food. You should eat, you'll feel better." She said diffuculty with the meat still in her mouth. She made her way closer and spotted Sukutu, and nodded at him in greeting and grined as best she could. She droped the meat in front of Mwali, and liked the sweet juice from her maw. She laid down next to Mwali, and nuged his side gently.

He smiled as Jasiri approached and broke the awkward moment. Bless her and her kind heart for her timing. He didn't want the pride to know that he wasn't a good hunter... or any other kind of hunter for that matter. He felt terrible... still he wasn't hardly working for his meals. Even the mouthfull that Jasiri brought him seemed like more than he deserved. He smiled either way and thanked her with a lick to her forehead. Turning to the food his stomache twisted in all sorts of knots- the zebra had done a good number on his chest and gut. Blood still leeked from his mouth from where damage on his insides was dealt. He wans't sure if he could handle even a little bite. He had to try though. Bending down he pulled a very small chunk from the meat, chewing it carefully and tilting his head back in an attempt to swallow. It felt like swallowing thorns, hitting his stomache it was almost like another kick to the gut. He bore his teeth and covered his eyes again with the paw- trying to hide the twisted expression of pain. A silent curse under his breath was all he could get out to imply the cause for his actions.

"Uhm.. well.." he wasn't all too sure how you play it either.. it was just a random idea. "You hunt? We could try hunting together!" Wokovu smiled some more.. he was up to try anything.. "Huntings more fun than games." he nodded a bit, looking around .
"What do you hunt around here..?"

As soon as the weight of the prince was off her body, Koho collapsed to the ground, the sweet cool earth eased the blood through her veins. Her muscle were angry with her, but she refused to show weakness, a thought that was magnified as Sukutu came suddenly into her sight. She smiled at the young one, they grew up so fast. She purred a soft greeting to him, exhaustion laping at the edges of her amber eyes. She listened to the strained conversation, creases coming to her brow as she felt the tension, it really wasn't fair the way everyone treated Mwali.... If he was willing to bow to Mufasa's leadership, then he had every right to be included in the family. Still, he would need to be taught as a cub would be, he didn't seem to have any knowledge of how to survive as a lion. Perhaps after he had learned he would find a nice lioness and form his own pride. To survive to that day however, he needed to be healed. Standing, despite the protest of her muscles, she moved to sit next to the injured prince. She batted a few flies away from one wound, lowering her muzzle to his fur and proceeding to groom away the blood. It needed to be cleaned and then perhaps they could find some of those big leaves to cover the major cuts with, just to keep the bugs and dirt out.

As Jasiri brought the meat to Mwali, Koho smiled to the lioness, she was young and would grow into a beautiful adult, a good addition to the pride, just like Mwali would be when he learned the skills of being a lion.

((Awwww... she's so sweet too xd ))
Mwali was terribly grateful for his "little sister's" appearence- the convieniance of her presence had ended the terribly uncomfortable conversation. Her body beside his was a comfort. He'd not let himself die... though the wounds were enough to probibly do any lion in he'd hang on. The little ones needed him there in case things turned to worse. If they were thrown from the pride the least he could do was look large and powerful. Just his being there had kept the desert scavangers such as jackals and what not from the young ones. Laying his head to the ground slowly as not to jar his shoulder he watched the wind roll accross the golden landscape. He was tired... and oddly light headed. He'd lost a lot of blood but he was unaware of that being the cause. Blood continued to seep from his lips into a smallbut growing puddle benieth him.

An unexpected second body beside his caused him to turn his head slowly, his droopy eyes forcing themselves to remain open to identify the shape. As everything slowly came back into focus he saw the figure of none other than Koho laying herself beside him. He watched her for a moment, taken even more off guard as she began to lick away the blood from his wounds and drive the verman from them. His eyes narrowed in an almost scared confusion, watching the female. He smiled softly, catching her golden eyes in his dulled emerald ones. "Thank you..." His voice was choked and quiet- just barely above a whisper. With another smile full of gratitude but not without weakness his head fell to the side again, his sides slowly raising and falling being the only sign of life in the red prince.

"Yeah, I hunt. But I don't know what one would hunt here, I'm new to this place too. Though I did see some older lion hunting the stiped animal but those are pretty big. I think they have gazelles though, we could hunt those. They're pretty fast but if we ambush 'em maybe we'll get one." Haveo felt pretty excited from the thought of hunting. He hadn't done an actual hunt for awhile. Thoughthe thought of hunting with lions unnerved him; lions beat him in strength and he wasn't sure about stamina though.

"Go to sleep young Prince, your body needs to repair itself." The femme's soft words were barely above a whisper and only for Mwali to hear. She was worried about him, he needed to get nutrients into his body to replace the blood and help his flesh heal. It looked to be that he was hit in the chest, she just hoped none of the supports of his breathing cavity had been injured, she had only seen that happen to one lion and they hadn't made it.... She wanted him to be alright.

Once the blood was mostly cleared from his shoulder wound, Koho's amber eyes drifted, trying to spot the nearest big leafed tree. Though her eyes were, like most lions, not her best assest, her nose could faintly smell the lushness that only came from the big leaves, they held so much water in them when they were fresh. With a soft nudge to the male's shoulder and a loving nod to both Sukutu and Jasiri, she bounded off, her sharp nose honing in on that hopeful smell. It was only a little ways off, she would be back before the sun completed it's rise.

((I'm assuming it is around noonish, so by the sun's rise I mean it's approach to high noon. I also think I read somewhere that lions have relatively poor eyesight, correct me if I'm wrong on the facts.))

Sarabi sighed in releif when they reached Priderock. She dropped her share of the caracass and said a soft thank-you as Jasiri went by. Her crimson eyes caught sight of that rasckal Sukutu with Mwali and Koho. She still fumed that he had abandoned her, but she was too tired and sore at the moment to go and beat some sense into him. Her limp was more pronounced now as she climbed up Priderock to lay at the tip that jut out. With the sun warming her gold fur, she proceeded to fastidiously clean her fur of blood and dust. When all trace of imperfection was gone and her fur was damp from licking, she stretched out on the warm rock, quickly falling into a doze.

((If there are cubs involved would it be ok if I was given one? I'll undertsnad if not however 3nodding ))

The juvenilles eye's softened at the sight of his foster mother, he never wanted to be angry around her, even though he acted a little fussy sometimes around her and a bit of a spoilt brat.
He then stopped smiling as he looked at her laying next to Mwali, his ears flattening against his head as he gave a small glance to the red lion, she wouldn't choose him...would she? I mean he would still stick by her, she was his foster mother and Mwali did seem like a heck of a nice guy, even Jasi' liked him.
After thinking it over he gave a true happy smile and playfully, but gently knawed on one of Jasiri's ears as he lay down next to her in this little group, starting to relax finally.
But his playfullness soon disapeared as he smelt the Queen, and his eye's widened as he sensed her anger he then let go of Jasiri's ear and started to pace too and fro infront of the two.
"I'msobustedI'msobusted.....I'm so busted!!!"
He sounded like a true teenager.
