That's ridiculous. Anyone who thought they'd be playing the new Grand Theft Auto on a Wii was seriously deluding themselves. Nintendo has always been oriented toward fun, accessible games, and it's clearly working with the Wii. There's no point in catering to the "hardcore" gamer because even beyond the fact that they're such a small share of the market, no one can ever make them happy.

Rockstar is SUPER pushing the Wii version because of its controls making the game "feel" more real.

I just don't know what to say about that game anymore. It just feels like Rockstar is spitting on everyone that ever went to bat for them by making the most ghoulish, irredeemable mess they could think of. Spoilers for one of the new weapons:
A pair of pliers that the player uses- when one activates the most gruesome execution- to first rip the victims testicles off, then when the victim falls down in pain, pries out one of their vertebra.
I feel sick.

Chris Powell They wanted world shattering news/slash games announced and they felt like nothing announced was a big deal. And they're denouncing Wii Fit as for casual gamers and that Nintendo doesn't care about the "hardcore" gamer anymore.
...to get off their fat asses and get some exercize, since they're too busy to actually leave the room.
And I heard that Manhunt 2 wasn't going to be released on the Wii until it got an MA rating, not the AO rating it was currently sporting. Mostly because Nintendo can't sell it at most stores otherwise.

I am totally disgusted by Sony. Rumors fly for a few weeks that there will be a one hundred dollar price drop on the 60 GB version of the PS3. Sony denies and denies. Then at E3 they announce that the 60 GB PS3 will drop from $599
to $499. Now Sony says they are "phasing out" the 60 gig version. The plan is to sell through the stock of the 60 gig $499 version of the console and replace it with 80 gig $599 version. Real nice. I'm seriously doubting I will ever buy this system.
