my town isnt even on the main map
sad an its one of the bigger places in the North west.
my town isn't there either...nothing we can do

xd I may have just googled it, but that doesn't mean I haven't heard of it. And are you kidding me? Of course it's not on the regular maps. You'd have to use fine print to get every city around you in there. Besides, map makers tend to do cut-outs of the Vancouver area, and Port Moody's in those ones.
It's the same here in Manitoba. You look at the map, and you see "WINNIPEG". But what you don't see are the towns around Winnipeg:
Headingley
Lorette
Rosser
Niverville
Many, many others
Why? Cuz they won't fit on there, and some are even skipped on the cut outs (eg. Niverville is usually one of them)
Besides, as I've just proven: Just because your city/town isn't on a map, doesn't mean people from other parts of the country have never heard of it.
