Anise heard Shikari yelling and trotted over to investigate. At the sight of the pokemon in the girl's lap, she explained, "You have a Psyduck there, a Water-type duck-like pokemon. It looks like it's been knocked out. Did Chiyo do that?" The condition of the bird's feathers certainly suggested a recent electric shock. "I'm a healer, I could treat it if you'd like," she offered.

Delah'a eyes widened at Anise. Her dream was standing right in front of her!
“Really! I'd like to talk to you more about this...” she looked slightly forlornly at her bike capsule. She supposed she had to use it... unless...
“I think my brother and I will be coming along but... I'm a bit exhausted from that whole encournter...” she smiled sheepishly at Anise.
“Riding a bike...” she wasn't going to ask directly, but... “erm... If you're riding your zebstrika, could I... maybe I could come along? At least until I feel a bit better...”
She stood up, a bit shakily.
“But I wouldn't want to upset her with two riders, so its okay if you say no.” she added, trying to be reasonable.
Jan blinked.
“Oh, we're leaving?”
He looked at Del for confirmation, and she seemed to be talking to someone... asking them if she could ride her Zebstrika.
He grinned mischeviously. Typical Delah! Wanting to play with a pokemon.
“Oh, okay!” he said to Cetus, waving as she mounted her pigeot and flew up.
Oh! right!
He turned to 89585.
“Are you coming too?” he asked, very hopeful.
He supposed he should pack up anyway, closing his sketchbook and putting it in his bag,
“It'd be great if you did! We could chat about things and... and...”
He took out his bike capsule and opened it to reveal a (slightly worn) bike.
“Oh! I could show you my bike!” he said excitedly, as if the old thing was a bright new shiny blue bike with all of the bells and whistles. He liked his boke... not as much as he liked his sketchbooks, but he liked his bike.
Delah waited patiently, stumbling over to watch as Anise treated the psyduck. A real healer in action.
Sperra picked up on the leaving vibes.
Travel??? but that was when it was most... dangerous... she was still too mellowed to care. Sedately she got up and wandered over to Jan, waving her tail slightly.

"Uhh...yes please." Shikari held the limp featherball out to Anise. "Hey...do you think I could do that...that 'catching' thing with it? I guess not, since I haven't been able to get another ball..." She looked disappointed.

To Delah, Anise said, "Sure, I wouldn't mind if you rode along with me. I'll have to check with Gypsy to make sure it's alright with her."
Anise took the Psyduck from Shikari as she said, "Sure, you could catch it if you like. I have a spare pokeball I could give you, if you want it." Then she examined the pokemon. Being unconscious made it easier than it might be with a wild pokemon, who didn't always like human contact. She was able to check the pokemon all over for injuries, flex the wings and feet to make sure the joint were working properly, and note that his breathing and heart rate seemed normal. "Well, aside from some scorched feathers, he looks to be fine. No burns on the skin or permanent damage, and the feathers will come off next time he preens. Pokemon are resilient creatures, he'll be just fine after some rest. Here, would you like him back?" She held the Psyduck out to Shikari.

Joey had ended up by the girl with the Zebstrika and the Psyduck in her lap, and perked up at the mention of catching the pokemon. "Oooh, you're going to catch it? Can I watch?" he asked Shikari eagerly.

Doyle nodded back to Genesis and turned to look at the newest commotion. It seemed someone had gotten lucky and was going to gain another pokemon. He released his bike from its capsule and got on it. The seat was too low and he had to get off to adjust it. "Man... its been quite some time since I had to ride." He commented. He got back on and made sure Archie was settled enough to where the bird could stay out and wouldn't fall off. "Sorry Ark. I'll let you out at the next stop." He said before returning her to her pokeball.

Natalie and Dusty stayed where they were and watched the Psyduck from where she was. "Isn't this exciting? Someone's about to catch a Pokemon, I think..."

Keria smiled and nodded to the girl with the emolga close to her. "It is, catching a Pokémon is always exiting even if you're not the one who's getting." Her hand left the bike's handle and she absentmindedly petted her own emolga who was currently on her shoulder.

The dark smudge of the Howling Forest grew closer each day as they made their way across the Seatence Valley. Eventually, the smudge resolved itself into a thick forest. Finally, they drew close to the treeline, the thin edges of the forest quickly becoming a thick, darkly shaded wood that felt vaguely foreboding.
Shina reined Rasha around and stood in the stirrups to see how the group looked. Everyone was fairly closely grouped, with no major outliers or stragglers, as far as she could tell. Shina nodded to herself, and took a deep breath. "All right, listen up! We are entering the Howling Forest! Try to stay together, it will be easy to get lost in the trees. If you get separated from the group, our next destination is Motterossa, east and south of here! We will try to check for anyone who is separated every night when we bed down, but we will not be waiting if the missing person cannot be located by morning. We do have a schedule to keep if we want to get through the Freezelands while it is still warm. Let's go!" Shina called, loud and clear, projecting her voice over the din of the caravan. Then she wheeled Rasha back around to face the forest, and led the group in.
((There are two pokemon in the Howling Forest. Be active if you want them to appear! Renekai's will appear either way, but if I don't see enough activity, the second may get shy!))

"Hm?" Valarie peeked out between some trees in the Howling Forest because she heard someone talk and spotted a group. She was now curious; why were they going to the Freezelands? Fortunately, she didn't set-up her tent yet. Maybe she could follow the group without getting spotted and maybe join later? She shrugged and slowly and quietly followed the group, hiding behind trees and bushes so no one can see her; just to make sure the group isn't an evil organization.

It felt strange to be back at the Howling Forest so soon. Doyle pedaled his bike following the leader but staying near Genesis. He and Gen had just left here not too long ago to complete a mission for Team Rocket. He frowned as he thought of the new and smaller base. He and Gen would have to try their best to keep anyone from the Caravan from wandering into it and never to reappear or at least not for a long time. He signaled Gen and came to a halt. He waited until everyone else had passed them before speaking. "So we're back here again. Looks like we need to be extra careful. Can't have anyone wandering where they're not supposed to." He then looked at his Archen and nodded, "Going to send Archie out to keep an eye on things." He watched as Archie hopped down and then ran off into the trees. Soon the rock bird was gone.

Valarie turned around when she heard some noise, "Hm..." she thought for a moment when she spotted an Archen. She pulled out a picnic blanket and covered herself with it to blend in and pulled out a sketchpad, a pencil, and some colored pencils as she observed the rock/flying type.

Joey peered around, wide-eyed and enthusiastic as ever. Lily Rose sat in the basket on his handlebars, and Star was tromping along just behind him. Hmm, Starlily was pretty big. Joey wondered if he could get a saddle or something for him. He'd have to ask at the next town, that Motterossa place Shina had mentioned.
