The little one looked around the rooftop for a moment, then looked back down at him and shook her head. "No, there's nothing up here to get down." she replied. Then she paused for a moment as realization hit her. "Does that mean I'm stuck up here? Or... I don't have to jump, do I?" she called down. What fun that would be.... couldn't seem like she was eager to just jump off the roof of a tall building though. Normal little girls didn't like that. The whole... self preservation thing, right?

 He didn't necessarily enjoy the idea, but it seemed like there wasn't much alternative here. The only other option was to wait till his Dragoon was fully charged and that could very well be a couple of hours. Far too much time for him to waste. Those hunters could back or find their way here and decide to target him if they recognized him or any other sort of nefariousness could ensue.
"I guess so." He called back, "Get a running start! Go to other end of the building and run as fast as you can and jump! I'll be ready here to catch you!"
He was not sure how much momentum she could get in her young body, but he was sure at least it'd be enough. Not only was she at a good distance above him, the distance between his building and her's was truly marginal. She would not have to use a lot of jumping force to clear the gap and he would be there prepared, walking up to the edge and placed one foot on the ledge, looking up at her, "Whenever you're ready! Don't be scared and don't stop running before the jump! I can't stress how important that is!"

The little girl backed away from the edge of the roof and out of Dart's line of sight. Letting out a shrill little sound of disapprovement. In all actuality, it was more of a squeel of delight. She couldn't seem as though she were eager to try and jump off a roof though. So she had to try and mask her excitement with fear. With a smile stretching across her face, Rosie moved as far as she could to the other side of the roof. Once there, she turned to face the end she needed to jump from. She stared at it for a moment, then let a small giggle slip from her as she bent down to place her hands on the ground. Mimicing a sprinting pose. And in three... two... one... and bolt! She took off as fast as she could for the edge of the roof. The minute her foot hit the edge, she shoved her foot against it for all she was worth, trying to get as much distance as she could possibly get.

He was happy to see her brave enough to do what he asked...maybe perhaps a bit too much, but he shook his head. It was probably just youthful energy that let her do it. He didn't think she'd have enjoyed the experience and yet she was so quick to comply as well to run.
He focused his attention though as she came down, having cleared the distance easily. She hasn't missed a step and her push against the edge was more then enough to get her airborne and directly towards him. A taller and older being would've cleared much more distance, but with her size, she was not far off from him. His arms opened as she approached and he grasped her tightly when she fell against his breastplate. He smiled, though found he had to take a slight step backward from the momentum she exerted, but he was otherwise well balanced, exclaiming, "There you go!"
He then placed her feet on the ground, letting her go as he placed his hands against hips, continuing to smile, "Good job! Takes bravery to do that on a moment's notice. You must be somethin' special."

Rosie beamed up at him. 'No duh...' she thought to herself. Probably should just act like that was the first time she had ever heard something like that though. He probably wouldn't want to know all the details. "You really think so?" she asked with a smile. "I didn't know if I'd make it or not, but I did just like you said! I knew you wouldn't let me fall."
And if she did there was a fifty fifty chance she'd go full blown goblin on the way down and just sort of smash up the concrete. So... she was only half worried about falling off the building.

 (Enter Skye from S.H.I.E.L.D.) Grumbling under her breath, Agent Skye drove toward the ruined Mansion. She didn't understand why Daniel chose to stop here. Near the large estate, the usually nondescript Econoline van would blend in. Here close to different plots of Gotham's elite -- it stood out like a sore thumb. Just about any moment now, the young female agent was expecting some security bumpkin to come up to her van to ask her what in the hell she was doing there. That would look sooooo well on a S.H.I.E.L.D. report. Not to mention, that May would be up her rump about it. Switching on her mic, the brunette contacted Dimensional Walker, "Okay... I've got to ask... Why the heck are we here at the ... Wayne Manor Estate? And why did you demand an airdrop for where we're supposed to be inconspicuous? Do you think that the Roman had something to do with the firefight that occurred up here? I thought that was I.O."

"This is what I had to do in Gotham, I carved this symbol myself. Somehow the Gotham that appeared after the collision that melded the dimensions was the one I spent a lot of time in. His name was Jason Tood. He was my partner. My best friend, ... And, he was my lover. It was, by my count, six years ago today. That's the day I lost him. Jus, Just allow me to pay my respects for a bit longer, then we can go on the mission." Standing close to Daniel, Skye felt a little awkward; however, she does know what it's like to lose someone close. It was never easy, nor was the pain forgotten. While the SHIELD agent had no idea who this Jason Todd was, she empathizes with Daniel and gently pats the young man's shoulders, "I am truly sorry for your loss. It's never easy losing someone close to your heart. It's like a wound that never really closes. I think it gets better over time... maybe."
