"See any holy looking guys yet?" Van said as they stood outside the church the next day, Van having dragged Mala out a good two hours earlier than when they showed up yesterday to scan the crowds and visitors to the church, not wanting to waste another day in the borrowed body if he could help it.

Mala looked about, frowning and squinting. "I think I see one over there, but I'm not sure..." she said, pointing over to one figure in the distance.

ninja-boi92 Harujiro no Yorozuya Belin nodded. "Which way is the tavern?" Mikhael shrugged. "Your guess is as good as mine..." he was new to the town. Probably arrived the same time they did. He glanced around. "Maybe..." he pointed to a large... ish... building. "That one...?" ((So did I.))

Mala lead the way to the holy-looking man. After a deep breath and mental preparation, she tapped him on the shoulder. "Excuse me sir, but can I have a moment of your time?"

((<.< >.> *sidesteps away not wanting to be the holy man* ^^;; And I had a strangely awesome dream last night. It was like if someone turned the RP into an anime and I was watching the opening credits. All I remember was there was a shot of Van (out of Riley) leaping dramatically into battle or something, Mala was crying out for him dramatically or something, and then Van sprouted a pair of angel wings. o.o All while my new favoritest song ever was playing.))

{That sounds like a kickass dream. I'm so jealous! D: ...But now I have to draw something along the lines of that. twisted ...Soon. XD}
Mala asked if the man was a powerful holy man that might be able to help them out. Once he said yes, she went on to explain Van and Riley's situation as best as she could. It could also be noted that she slipped in plenty of pleading, fliratious glances, and a clear intent of not-taking-no-for-an-answer.

Van proceeded to abuse Riley's puppy dog eyes all throughout Mala's tactics. ((I also just realized how fitting a lot of the lyrics actually are for Van. o.o I DEMAND IT BE MADE HIS THEME SONG!! But now I'm off to dinner and hanging with my anime peeps. I'd be on a lot more during the day, but I just realized one of my college buddies seems to be a clinger. What started as 'you have no class? let's hang out!' has apparently turned into every thursday being spent hanging out with her from 10 until 3. gonk ))

Finally, Mala finished the tale - and her begging - much to the holy man's relief once he agreed to help her. He told them that the ceremony would be a large bother in a crowded place, so they should meet up at the church once more at midnight so that there wouldn't be civillians to get in the way.
