Akane Saito Akane was so happy because she got a new mission, she was almost jumping out of excitement. "That sounds amazing! I really hope I will be able to take them out." After her previous mission when she carried a wild hog from the forest to here by herself, she felt like she could do anything now. Akane was very happy and cheerful, when suddenly she felt something odd. It was like huge amounts of anger moved somewhere in her. She never felt so raged, so angry at everything around her. Akane was a bit scared, it was such a weird feeling. But it disappeared quickly, like it did not see a reason to be overflowing her for now. However, she could feel that it stayed inside her. Akane was confused and frightened, but tried not to show it to Feather. "Thank you for the mission... I'll be going, then."

Chilling2 And it's a mission like before, when I'll RP simply by myself? Or do I have to do something else first?

Geddon Solo  Geddon walked into the office gingerly, looking around at the office, which was seemingly grown out of roots. The young Ysari was tentatively approaching several thorns which had embedded themselves in his hands during his journey to Kusana. The thorns irked him, not just because they were painful, but also because Geddon had been born in the forests of Kranilla, and his family had even stopped for a while in their seemingly endless journey to raise him in the dappled sunlight and earthy aromas of the mighty forests: he had even decided to stay here when the family had moved on- so much was he enamoured with the woods. This was the second reason that the thorns irked him: because he should have learned by now how to negotiate briars. 'Some life I'm going to make for myself in Kranilla; can't even avoid brambles.'
Geddon's prickled hands were soon clear of the black spines, although one which he had been forced to dig out of the red tattoo on the back of his hand had particularly stung on it's way out. He thought he had even caught a glimpse of his Vitae, pulsing through his veins under his skin, when he extracted the irritating barb.
Looking up from his sore digits, Geddon saw a room with several people standing it it. Apparently absorbed in their own conversation, he tentatively rubbed his hands together and then spoke: "Hey, erm, that is to say hi, I mean...yeah, anyway, I'm interested in getting some training and then maybe going out to do some missions? Could any of you help with that?"

"Greeting young fighter. I shall be the one helping you. I am the teacher here name Feather." She spoke up to another newcomer, joining the service for Kusana. "Please state out your name, class and element as well your bloodline and we shall go strait to your training." she quickly said, not letting there be time for little chats.

Geddon Solo "Ah, well, my greetings Feather," Geddon began, before suddenly being acutely aware of how formal he was sounding, "well, its nice to meet you. I'm Geddon Solo, or Geddon Elvacio Solo, or just Gedd. I am hoping to become a trickster, and maybe form up a team here, and I was born to a travelling group of Ysari...as such, I have no element, except my Vitae, which, as far as my family could explain it, and as far as I could understand, is a kind of weaponised blood that runs through my veins...see, my people are a kind of vampire, but different. We don't feed, and we don't get stung by the sun...sorry, I got distracted- I have no element, but I want to learn how to use my katana and my pistols better. If that's possible, well, that'd be great."
Geddon gave a cheerful smile, his wavy, unkempt brown hair seemingly shuffling around on his head. The red tattoo over his left eye stood out bold as he smiled at Feather. Something told him that he would do well here.

Feather watched him as he was nervelessly talk. He didn't so much have confident for himself, or that he just doesn't normally talked to people like her. "Let's get started than. First off with your speed. Tricksters are known to be the fastest class out there so that mean you work trice as hard to move faster. I want you run around this building 5 times to strengthen up you legs. Come back here and we can work on your weapons." She first off gave him the order.
Chazo Kazonoko Speed Training Rank: E Description: This maybe an energy free and passive ability but remember that it is needed for all the other skills. This training is what will make you incredibly fast. Trainee= Just faster than normal humans.

Geddon Solo "Mmm," Geddon nodded in agreement, "I had heard that about Tricksters before, and, come to think of it I have always been able to shift when I needed to. Right, five times around here then- off I go."
Geddon made sure his pistols were secure, before psyching himself up, rubbing his hands together and focusing his shining magenta eyes on the entrance of the Academy. '3...2...1...Go!'
Setting off with a spurt of speed, Geddon exited the academy and then ran swiftly round it for the first time, hugging the walls just to make sure he didn't get lost in the maze that was Kusana. As he got about half-way, Geddon began to admire the way that the Academy was grown out of the wood of the Highwind tree itself. Scampering over the large roots protruding from the ground near the academy's walls, Geddon came around for his second lap. This passed, like his third lap after it, without event. However, during the fourth lap his legs began to get quite painful, and by the fifth the sustained sprinting was causing them to cry out from the exertion and they threatened to buckled as he rounded the academy for the last time and tiredly stubbled into the entrance.
Attempting to regain his composure, Geddon swept his hair out of his eyes, and ruffling it to it's previous chaotic splendour. "That was a pain...although, my legs do feel pretty good now that I think about it," he informed Feather, and he was telling the truth: the pain had ebbed and his legs did feel a little tougher than before.

"Now that you are back, let's get started with your weapon training... the only thing I can teach your with the katana is Alas." Feather face over to a dummy, her hand on the handle of her own katana. "To use this skill, step forward to your target and swing the katana while still in its saya at the enemy's side with your left hand. Quickly bringing the sword back to your waist, use the other hand to grip the katana and unsheathe the blade, striking at the opponent." She said before doing just that, giving the young trainee a demonstrating. She her weapon with her left hand, still in it's sheathe doing nothing but a smack on the dummy like a bat. Putting it back in her waits, she actually grab onto this time, pulling the blade out with the other grip to strike a second time with a sharp cut.
Chazo Kazonoko Alas Rank: D Description: This combination of moves is quick not powerful and may easily be underestimated because of its rank. Step forward and swing the katana while still in its saya (Scabbard) at the enemy's side with your left hand. Being blunt it would feel like a quick punch. Quickly bringing the sword back to your waist, use the other hand to grip the katana and unsheathe the blade, striking at the opponent.

'Would not want that to be me, that's for sure.' "Okay, I think I get how this works," Geddon said confidently, and he unstrapped his katana from his shoulder, took it in his left hand and stood in front of the dummy. Bringing the sheated blade down onto the head of the dummy with a sharp "crack!", Geddon then quickly returned the sheathed blade to his waist, with his right hand gripping the saga, before his left hand withdrew the sword and he swiped at the dummy, leaving a deep gash running across its chest.
Overall, his attack had not been quite as smooth as Feather's, and he looked at his teacher for conformation about whether that had actually been the attack he was meant to perform.
[OOC: It would normally take Geddon 4 turns to learn a D-rank move, but it Feather is Expert or above that would reduce it to one. I'm just wondering if I have learned the move or if more turns are required?]

While he had somewhat understood his blood before, this book gave him a whole new level of understanding. Finding the abilities that best matched his level, Geddon began to feel apprehensive as he read about the Blood Frenzy: the maddened and murderous state that would await him should he over-use his Vitae powers. Deciding to use them with caution, Geddon decided to learn how to manipulate the shape of his Vitae first. Reading how to create and shape his Vitae, Geddon looked up and spoke to Feather. "I'm going to try and learn how to control my Vitae first off," he said with confidence, "but first I need to create some."
Holding his left hand in the air, Geddon began to focus deeply, before a shock of glowing red liquid burst into existance above his open palm. Before the Vitae could drop to the floor, Geddon began to shape it, swirling his fingers below the crimson fluid and it flowed into the shape of a single set of spiky knuckle-dusters, curling around Geddon's fingers. The young Ysari then punched the dummy, leaving four evenly spaced holes in its inanimate body.
The Vitae then dissipated, sinking into Geddon's skin.
Smiling, Geddon looked at Feather again. Looks like you can handle things on your own so you got the rights to hold the tittle as Novice... Do you wish to continue with your training?" she asked her, knowing that she might want to learn to wield her scythe now.

However, he had to mentally wrench himself away from such thoughts- aware as he was that he needed to learn Blades of Blood before she would give him any kind of test.
Looking at the book on Ysari powers, Geddon observed that Blades of Blood was somewhat similar to Vitae manipulation, but involved a more violent pulse of energy to shape it. Standing clear of the book and Feather, Geddon clenched his right fist, focusing on summoning his Vitae. He achieved this far quicker that he had previously, so he decided to try the technique. Whipping his hand across in front of his chest, Geddon released a handful of glowing Vitae, which instantly twisted itself into the form of several jagged, evil-looking weapons: a curved blade, and arrow, a harpoon and a longsword, along with several daggers, all made of Vitae. This assortment of weapons flew forward, impaling the dummy in several places.
"Awesome!" exclaimed Geddon, before turning to see that a new arrival was talking to Feather. She was a young girl, with pink hair and clothing all covered by a black cloak. Geddon watched as Feather promoted the girl, and he realised that he wanted promotion too...although, the girl did look as though she'd just been on a reasonably difficult mission, which made Geddon slightly apprehensive as to the test that Feather was about to assign him. Walking up to his teacher and the newcomer, Geddon spoke to the girl: "Congratulations on becoming a novice, I'm Geddon by the way, and you are?"
