Kai looked at the raiton scroll again, next seemed easy too and would make a good fog cover. Smirking as she was in the mood to keep training she made a hand sign, creating a clone that stepped back with two kunais. Kai made another set of hand signs. Focusing her raiton chakra a few lighten whisps started to form them a cloud around her, covering her in it's white electricity. "Hmm if lighten can make something attract to it then it can make something repel against it...." She smirked. The clone threw both kunai at her and she stood still. They hit the cloud but repeled back. Kai smirked and dispelled the justu.[1/1]

Happy to be praised at her success, Riko watched as Shinji returned his attention back to the rest of his students. Not having much to do for the rest of the day, Riko guessed that she might as well just go and train some more on her own. Waving her right hand in farewell, Riko didn't know if Shinji even saw it or not but wasn't going to distract him from his teachings just for the sake of saying goodbye. 'If I did, that would've been just plain stupid and annoying.'

Making her way to a more secluded area, Riko took out the Doton scrolls Kiyoko had given her when she first trained under the Tsuchikage in the Hidden Caverns on Nagi Island. Weighing both scrolls between her two hands, Riko decided to try out a genin technique seeing as how she hasn't even learned a single one of those yet. Stuffing the academy level technique scroll into one of her pouches, Riko procceed to open and brouse through her genin-level technique scroll for something that would interest her. 'Hm...the Stone Shuriken technique looks interesting enough. Let's see...'

Once sure that she had all the neccessary information memorized, Riko rolled back up the scroll and inserted it back into her pouch. Running over the handseals a few times until she felt confindent enough to actually try it, Riko took a deep breath before letting a bit of her chakra flow freely. Whipping through the handseals in a flash, Riko concentrated her chakra to her hands before reaching down and scopping up a handful of dirt. Doton: Shuriken no Jutsu [1/2]

Focusing on infusing her chakra with the earth in the palm of her hand, Riko did her best to harden the earth before molding it into the shape of a shuriken. Concentrating her chakra into toughening up the earth, she felt it slowly solidfied in her hand before softening up again. Squeezing her eyes shut as she focused harder on molding the earth together, she felt it finally solidfy and changing it into the shape of a shuriken was relatively more easier. Fingering it with her hand, Riko felt the shape edges of the shuriken and opening up her eyes, Riko smiled as she saw a decently looking earth suriken in the palm of her left hand. Deciding to test it out first, Riko held one end of the earth shuriken between her thumb and index and middle finger before swiftly whipping it towards a nearby tree. Watching as it successfully struck the tree and remain stuck there, Riko knew that she had successfully learned the jutsu. Doton: Shuriken no Jutsu [2/2]

Wincing as a sudden wave of pain washed over her, Riko bent down and wrapped her arms around her stomach. She felt as if she was being pierced by a million needles each sinking deep into her skin only to be pulled out and stabbed into her again. Taking in several deep breaths, Riko found herself calming down and once the pain subsided, she decided to go into an early meditative cycle just to relax, Riko crossed her legs and closed her eyes. Breathing in and out at a steady rhythm, Riko felt herself relax and slowly drift into a meditative state.

Waking up, Riko looked up to the sky and realized just how late it had gotten while she was meditating. 'Seems I allowed myself to drift off for much longer than I had originally anticipated.' Pushing herself off the ground, Riko brushed the dirt from her outfit before exiting the training grounds and towards the library for some light reading.

Kenji Walked around the training grounds, deciding on a place to practice. He had recently thought up a ninjutsu, but he had never actually tried to use it. He honestly thought it would have been pretty cool. That is to be a technique's creator. " Now, time for me to show the world what I can do. " Kenji said smiling as he got ready to make some handsigns.

Kenji took a deep breath and slowly closed his eyes, chakra building up in the air around him. small blue orbs of water bagan to condense all around him, intermized with small green orbs of rapidly spinning wind that fell to the ground and kicked up a small amount of dust. Kenji brought his hand up to his face, and centered it, about five inches away. {1/7}

Kenji smiled and began moving his hand. Slowly at first, but he kept building and building in speed. Soon his hand was a complete blur. Kenji didn't have a sortened version of the handsigns yet, so he had to make the handsigns complete for every last detail of the roses. " One hundred... two hundred... three hundred... " He said, counting all of his handsigns. The reason he wasn't counting them individually is because he couldn't talk nearly fast enough. {2/7}

Kenji kept his eyes closed, listening to only the slight whirring noise of his fingers. The small water droplets and air bubbles began to converge into five single points. They condensed to the point kenji's muscles began to flex with strain. This technique was so complex that unless you had basic knowledge of hyoton, and had mastered all of the hyoton jutsu up to genin rank, most people wouldn't even be able to use it. {3/7}

Kenji straightened his body, as it had begun to tighten to the point he had begun to squat down. He focused highly, he made a quick slash with his hand, halting his handsigns for a second. he let out a small laugh. he had just finished the first prerequesite for using that technique. He had to produce the super condensed orbs that were only about the size of a seed, but the rose would soon grow from it. {4/7}

Kenji opened his eyes, and began to pund out the handsigns, " one thousand... Two thousand... Three thousand... " He muttered, three of the orbs enlongating, and developing a bulb at the top. " four thousand... Five thousand! " Kenji said, his eyes twitching as all five rods with a bulb floated in the air, not completed yet. {5/7}

Kenji began to breathe heavily and held out one of his hands, the one that wasn't preforming the massive amounts of hand signs. the whirring noise had become so audible it had now turned into a purring noise as his hand hit itself over and over. " ten thousand... Twenty thousand... " He said, the roses floating down to meet the tips of each of his fingers. the roses began to spin slowly at first, but soon they were spinning violently. {6/7}

Kenji's eyes snapped open " Hyoton style! Rose Creation no jutsu! " He yelled, finishing off his fifty thousandth handsign. Suddenly the Roses halted their rotations, and took on the perfect shape of a rose with a loud snapping noise. then with a slightly audible gratting noise the thorns slowly came sliding out of the rod, which thinned and bent, making it look like a perfect rose. aside from the lack of color the roses looked perfect and glimmered in the light. {7/7}

Kenji grasped the roses in triumph. He smiled and rose to his full height. " good, now for the finale... " He said throwing them at a tree, he smiled when they sunk into the tree, four of them shattered, but one didn't, and it bloomed perfectly. " Perfect. " Kenji said sighing. He fell backwards onto his bottom and sighing as he fell backwards from there.

Kai was about to peform the next raiton justus when thee earthsquake tremor hit and kncoked her on her a**. "What the?!" She got up as a ninja approached her and told her the kage's orders, nodding she set off to the shinobi wharehousing as quickly as possible.

"Don't get tired yet Emily!" Kai yelled to her from behind. Poking Emily in the ehad. "You should be helping the village girl!" She stuffed her hands into her pockets.

She nearly fell back from the sudden hug from Emily. "There are still people out there needing help, a shinobi is prepared for anything but not a civilian." She said. Turning Emily around and pushing her forward gently. "Go~"

XXX Gage was still sitting when the first earthquake hit. ‘Wow it’s been awhile since the last one…’ He thought as he stood after the earthquake. “You know the drill…” He told himself as he walked out of the woods into what used to be a clear training grounds. When he first laid eyes on it he thought he made a wrong turn, but when he saw the scared trees, he knew he wasn’t mistaken.

XXX ‘Man, there’s a lot of work to do…’ He thought as he looked at the mess of fallen trees, tents, people, and animals all over the place. He noticed that Kai was there along with another ninja, already helping. He ran over quickly and saluted Kai. “Reporting for duty! Where do you need me?” He asked, seeing that Kai was a Chuunin it automatically made her Gage’s superior for this crisis. He had an idea, though, on what type of assignment Kai might give him.
