The bird floated to an area near the top of the hallway and settled on an outcropping to wait for the kage. "That's alright. I meant no harm. I was merely chuckling because I think letters are outdated. I can turn into them so I have no need to carry one." it chirped down to the dog.

the bird would smile if he could, but he had a beak. "sounds cool. I'm here to ask if the hokage knows of any hyuuga that can teach my owner jutsu. he has an eye, but no teacher." he chirped sadly.
(anyone who walked in right now would be weirded out.)

"oh really" said the bird "well my owner is jounin rank, and is running the next exam if your master is in it." he said revealing an equally important secret. He felt secrets should be given if they are learned. he chuckled inwardly thinking about the exams.

"my partner trains hard each day, i've worried about her these past couple of days, but i sometimes also feel that her determination, recharges her chakra so to speak. her best friend, shizune, was out on her first mission... and then was turned rouge by rouge ninja's... but although my partner is determined to bring her back, i sometimes wake up at night and hear her crying... but thats why i train with her, so i can help her! my partner and shizune, they spent every moment together... and miwata broke down when shizune left..." barked aki, whining

A bird flew into the office, with a small note tied to it. It was adressed to the Hokage, and written by a determined medic. It explained why the medic had to go out and find the murderers of her parents, because they wanted something from her and that she didn't want to bring harm on the village. And that she would miss him as her teacher.

Walking up to the office with Kageko in tow, Luo sighed as he brushed through the lower levels smiling at the secretary. As he reached the top, he knocked politely and tentatively. He hoped to get a response and soon from the hokage to allow him to enter and say hello.
