 Tsubame ItsukiKonohagakure | Pin Point - Clan Head | HokageWatching attentively as Alkaid performed the exercise, Itsuki took note of all the little stumbles but made no motion of voicing them out loud. For someone who has just started, a few stumbles were expected, besides, even she sometimes still have trouble doing this exercise perfectly. Nodding her head in approval when she saw that the next two cycles were performed with less mess ups, Itsuki gave Alkaid a few minutes to catch her breath before introducing the next task. "Alright, let's move on." Taking another kunai, Itsuki threw it off to the edge of the field, this time it was 7.5 meters away from the last one. "Next drill's going to be pretty similar to the first but this time all that's required of you is for you to sprint from the first marker to the very last one. The distance is about 20 meters and you are to continuously run back and forth for 5 minutes. You ready?"

Nai peeked into the classroom quietly, double-checked her room assignment, and then quietly took the open seat that was closest to the door. Looking around shyly, Nai noticed a woman helping another student out with some weapons. She remained seated, not knowing what she should do next.

Tsubame ItsukiKonohagakure | Pin Point - Clan Head | HokageKeeping her arms crossed over her chest, Itsuki continued to pay close attention to Alkaid's movements as she went over the next drill. Not having much to say about her student's progress, Itsuki just simply remained silent as she kept time over her second endurance drill. "Time." Giving time for her student to catch her breath, Itsuki glanced up towards the sky and narrowed her good eye when she realized just how late its gotten. Turning to face Alkaid, Itsuki could see that she was still tired and worried briefly about her condition to travel. But having experienced Alkaid's stubbrorness first hand, Itsuki was more than confindent that she would be fine, afterall, she still has Suki-san and Natsu-san to look out for her.
"Alkaid-san, training will have to continue later, it's way past the meeting time Toijiro-san set up. Go quickly pack up and meet up with your group. Take caution on this mission, I don't want to lose any of you on this mission." Though her words contained a hidden meaning, Itsuki doubted that Alkaid would catch on to what she meant by that. She felt concern over Zin's "presense" and though she would never outwardly admit it, feels concern that she might lose some shinobi to him, either alive or dead. Quickly snapping herself out of her thoughts, Itsuki flashed Alkaid a small smile before sending her student off on her way.
Having sensed a presense looking down at them for sometime now, Itsuki turned her head up towards an upstairs classroom and noticed a petite girl seated by the classroom window. 'Ah, I believe that's his class. He's probably fallen asleep somewhere again. Better talk to Fuuyu about it later.' Flashing the girl a small smile, Itsuki headed inside the building and up the stairs towards the classroom where the girl was seated. Entering the classroom, Itsuki took a seat in the desk in front of the girl and turned around to face her. Keeping a welcoming smile on her face, Itsuki greeting the girl in a kindly manner. "Hi there, I'm Tsubame Itsuki, and who might you be?"

(OOC: Oh, oops, you guys were outside sweatdrop ? Sorry >_< .)
Nai, quickly looked away when she was smiled at, not expecting to have been noticed. Then, she heard the door open and, thinking that it might be the teacher, chanced a look up, only to see that it was the woman who had smiled at her earlier. To her surprise, the woman sat next to her and greeted her, asking for her naime. "Naiten Tsuchigumo," Nai replied quietly, choosing to look timidly down at her desk rather than up at the woman's face.

Tsubame ItsukiKonohagakure | Pin Point - Clan Head | HokageSmiling as the girl turned timidly away as she responded to her question, Itsuki couldn't help but be reminded of a fellow classmate she befriended during her academy days. Though the girl was younger than her friend, they both contain that same passive personality. 'Same that I'll have to toughen her up. Such passive personalities will only make her an easy target in times of battle.' Still smiling gently at the girl, Itsuki's face remained kind and sincere, never portraying the thoughts that were truely inside her head. "Tsuchigumo Naiten-san eh? Well its a pleasure to meet you. My name's Tsubame Itsuki, you can just call me Itsuki if you wish. So is this your first day at the academy?" Speaking in soft, gentle tones, Itsuki hoped to get the girl to speak up more and hopefully feel more comefortable in her presence.

Nai simply nodded in response to the woman's question, her eyes still practically glued to the desk. Her personality wasn't the talkative type, and it was definitely passive as Itsuki had guessed correctly without Nai knowing. the girl thought to herself as her eyes traced a pattern in the wood, . She had only been at Konoha for a short while, but she had heard enough to know some of the most important names within the village.

Placing both hands on the table, Itsuki turned towards Nai and continued to speak in a gentle, caring voice. "Well Tsuchigumo-san, it seems you're teacher got lost on his way to the academy again. There's probably no point in waiting for him so how about learning from me?" Leaning forward slightly, Itsuki tilted her head a bit to the right as she tried to glance at the girl's eyes which were currently still glued to the table. 'She's pretty young for an academy student. I wonder how old is she?'

Nai, noticing that the hokage lean forward and tilt her head to the right, looked up timidly to see what she wanted. The girl nodded in response to what the woman said and then looked back down to the desk with her usual shyness. Really, there wasn't much for her to say. What else could she say that wouldn't already say what her nod said? Seeing no reason to speak, she didn't.

Tsubame ItsukiKonohagakure | Pin Point - Clan Head | HokageReleasing a small sigh, Itsuki could tell that its gonna take quite a lot of work to get this one to come out of her shell, so in the mean time, she'll just occupy herself with training her. Standing up, Itsuki kept her left hand on the desk as she made her way to the edge of the desk. Putting her weight on her left hand, Itsuki faced the timid student and grew curious as to why she would even want to enter such a dangerous profession. "So, Tsuchigumo-san, care to tell me your reasons for becoming a shinobi? And while you're at it, how about briefing me on your element."

Nai answered the easiest question first, "Medical and Fuuinjutsu." As for the harder question, the one she was asked first, the girl paused for a bit to organize her thoughts and words, her eyes shifting left and right as she thought out the answer. Finally, she glanced up at the hokage, wondering if the woman still bothered to pay attention to her despite her delayed answer, and then answered after returning her gaze to the table, "I want to protect and help people important to me."

Tsubame ItsukiKonohagakure | Pin Point - Clan Head | HokageRemaining attentive to the young girl in front of her, Itsuki made no verbal comment regarding Nai's decision to answer her second question ahead of the second. 'To not answer it right away can either mean that she's unsure about her decision or she's putting some deep thoughts into it.' Eitherway, Itsuki was interested in hearing her answer. 'She's too young to know the hardships of life but then again...so was I...'
I want to protect and help people important to me.
Awaken from her thoughts by Nai's soft voice, Itsuki smiled a bit at her answer before turning her gaze to the door. "A broad but valid answer...it'll become more specific in time." Recalling her answer regarding her elements, Itsuki knew that the classroom was not the right place for it. Heading towards the back classroom door, Itsuki slid it open and turned to face Nai. "You coming? The classroom is no place to learn proper medical jutsu." Standing patiently at the door, Itsuki calmly waited for Nai's reaction and response.

The girl's eyes shifted up just enough to see where the hokage was headed when she heard her leave her chair. When asked about whether or not she was going to follow, something that Nai hadn't expected at all, it took her a while to notice that she was the one being talked to. Quietly, she nodded, slid out of her chair, and walked over to the hokage, her eyes now staring at the floor in the same way that they had stared at the desk not so long ago. She wondered where they were going to go. From what she could gather, they would learn medical jutsu, but what kind of place would be better to teach medical jutsu in then in the academy? The hospital? Where was the hospital? Did this village even have a hospital? Nai, being new, did not know. Of course, her cluelessness didn't change the fact that she said nothing.

Tsubame ItsukiKonohagakure | Pin Point - Clan Head | HokageAs Itsuki remained standing by the door, she paid closed attention as Nai walked while still keeping her gaze glued to the floor. Releasing a soft sigh, Itsuki once more made no verbal comments on the girl's actions. 'She's still young so it'll be best to rid her of her shyness now instead of later when it becomes more daunting of a task.' Seeing that she stopped when she reached the door, Itsuki assumed that the girl was waiting for her to lead so being the leader she was, Itsuki stepped through the doors first and began leading the two of them down the stairs and out the closest exit.
Once they were out on the streets, Itsuki decided that she might as well enlighten the girl on their destination. "Tsuchigumo-san, it'll be wise if you turn your gaze upward from the ground. You'll find that you're missing out on a lot by limiting yourself to seeing only the natural beauty of a dirt road." Her tone was soft and caring, in no way was Itsuki trying to force Nai into anything but she was just throwing the suggestion out there. If Nai decided to listen to her or not, it would be up to her.

Nai followed Itsuki out the door and when it was suggested that she look up, did so. While she knew even before the hokage had told her that there were plenty of other things more interesting than the dirt road, the girl still felt uncomfortable. She didn't look down for the scenery, but because she didn't want to be the center of attention. Now, instead of looking down at the ground, the girl's shoulders instinctively rose slightly as if to try and hide her head. In this manner, she continued following the woman.
