((Ach, sonuva...sorry for taking a while, someone else needed to use my computer for too long... redface ))

A sizable crowd had gathered at the commotion now, murmuring at the sight of Chiaro defending herself against the guards. She did not fight back; she merely stood her ground and continued breaking the weapons of every single guard that tried to assault her. Just as she broke the last of them, she heard Sheena blurt out her claim and internally jolted in surprise.

Azriel was agape. "Was that such a good idea?"

Oscuro was actually beginning to snicker in amusement.

The crowd's murmuring grew louder, even beginning to build into panic. Despite saying earlier that she meant no harm, Chiaro tried to play along herself now, wearing a greatly angered expression.

"Yes, I am Spiritua! The Angel of Death, returning to bring judgment upon your present King and his followers for continuing to carry on a reign of unscrupulous racism! I have observed as much under the guise of this Half-Elf girl."

A moment of awkward silence hung in the air. She hoped her words were enough, that she didn't have to back up her claim, because the next explanation she could think of would end up putting Cinkel in an unfavorable light, which she certainly did not intend.

...It seemed to work. The elder, the guards, the crowd, everyone within earshot of Chiaro began to flee in panic. They spread the word, resulting in people either shutting themselves into their homes or evacuating Meltokio altogether.

((Was that exaggerating? Man, this would be a great time for a Zelos to step in. He would be investigating this ruckus.))

Oro was shocked by all the sudden commotion and jumped up on to a roof. When Cain jumped up Oro made his way over to him, "Sorry I wasn't much help." he looked down to see the panic, and snorted, "funny though. At the mere thought of their death, it would send them running like rats."



Back in the slums Schwarz had succumed to his dispare. "Man... I can't do this... all this negativity is bringin' me down." He looked around to see he had lost Magnus and Cinkel, he hung his head and sighed, "Great... I just leave now... since I'm useless here." he turned around and headed towards the meeting place.

Chiaro nodded, and decided to end her manifestation there. Her job was done, and remaining manifested would needlessly drain energy from Azriel. She looked around to see if all was truly clear first, then closed her eyes in concentration. As she changed back, her left wing shed its feathers and shifted back to its usual structure.

As soon as her form fully returned, Azriel doubled over and fell to her hands and knees, exhausted. Chiaro had to exercise some of her power to defend herself from the guards. After catching her breath, she slowly got back up to on her feet.

"I wonder...how...the others...fared," she thought out loud, panting in between words.

Sheena knelt beside Azriel, attempting to help her to her feet by putting the girls arm over her shoulder. "You okay?" She asked, a little suprised by the sudden loss of energy. "I guess being Spiritua takes a lot outta you." She said with a sigh, trying to lead Azriel to a bench to sit on.

"Yeah...I'm mostly fine," Azriel answered with a reassuring smile, "At least it didn't turn into an intense fight. Now that would get me to faint. Not to mention, cause some unintended property damage given her strength..." Looking over at Oro, she answered, nodding, "You are correct. That was Chiaro."

Sheena sighed. "Well, we have time it seems. The only thing that time has against us is that there is a theif getting farther and farther away as we speak." She said with a shrug. "Wonder what we're gonna do about him. The worlds pretty big. He could be anywhere." She said simply, not as worried as she sounded. Mizuho's information gathering squads were out and about, gathering profiles on all people who fit the bill of looking like Cain. Once they got the list of names and whereabouts, Sheena would sift through and go after the ones in the closest towns.

"Sorry to hear that they caught you... ya the fact that I can think of a way to help them but... it goes against almost everything that I try to inforce let's just leave it at that. If Oro heard me talking like this head have a fit." He turned a corner and entered the square they agreed on. Upon seeing his brother, a smile appeared on Schwarz's face "Speaking of which, Oro! Great to see ya." Schwarz took a running jump at his brother. Knocking them both to the ground, where Schwarz began to cuddle his brother aggressively.
Oro looked rather annoyed at his brother's rude hello, he began to push his brother off, "That's enough out of you. Stop this insanity at once." There was a loud snap and Oro yelped in pain "Your going to break me in half, stop!!" he gave a final push and Schwarz got off. Oro stood up and snapped his back and neck, before brushing himself off.

Sheena sighed. "Whats the bad news. Hopefully the good will cheer us up after the bad." She said simply, leaning back. A man appeared behind her, whispering in her ear and then handing her a scroll. He vanished, and Sheena stood, looking over the school. "Two matches nearby. One in Flanior across the ocean, and the other in Sybak." She said, closing the scroll.
