"I had to get an IV, and my first nurse was named Mike. So yeah, was nice to Mike, until he tried putting the IV in when I offered him to option of having future children, or putting the IV in my left hand, where the vein wouldn't stay visible. He put it in my left hand anyway, missed, and decided he;d dig around for a while. Keep in mind that I somehow have nerves or something in my blood vessels, and could feel the damned thing the whole time. Told him that if he tried my other hand, he might as well kiss his arm and any possibility of having kids in the future gone. So Marsha {another nurse} came in, and put it in my right. Heaven forbid Mike go for the vein he could see without the tourniquet.
I could feel the damned IV the whole time.
Yeah, so now I'm really hungry, can't have any food, and the back of my throat hurts." ;~;
