Reno felt his smirk grow at the knowing his plan was working until the music connection was suddenly cut. Apparently, GRAY found his back door. Of course, all it was was distracting GRAY by telling him to search for a Zoroark trying to infiltrate our ranks who wasn't Ship. Thank god his focus was diverted as long as was needed. Peeking through the door again, his smirk grew even more. Plan was a success. Wonder if Al will thank him later? Doubtful, considering he probably still thinks of him as an a** for what he did.
Letting a sigh out, he laid down on the couch. Now was a good time for a nap. It was exhausting starting a budding romance via roundabout tactics and a convoluted strategy. But it had worked.

TerashiLeonGoken Keiko picked up the muffled music coming from her purse, which is where she left her SNAG. The gesture was sweet, in a way, but she was somewhat glad it was in her purse and not out in the open, blaring at top volume. Keiko's lips disobeyed her and formed into a smile, but she didn't try to hide it. She was glad he didn't think that age mattered. So all that about what not to do to a lady was just Al's way of telling Reno to mind his own business. That thought made her giggle as she wrapped her arms around Al's free arm, turning away to face the waterfall again. "I didn't know... we have the same problem," she said softly, her cheeks becoming a light rose color as she smiled. "Maybe we could figure it all out together?"The SNAG... she'd check on it later. For the first time in a while, she was starting to feel good about herself, and about something else as well. This was a moment worth cherishing. Through the entrance to the cave, on the other side of the pool, the light from the sun was starting to fade... Al didn't hear the music pouring from Keiko's purse but even if he had, he probably wouldn't have recognized the song. He'd never really been one to listen to much much music. He'd always preferred the sounds of nature over those made by manufactured instruments. The only instrument he'd ever found enjoyable to hear, really, had been the White Flute made by the glass blower that lived near Fallarbor town. The man's lips curled into a fragile smile, one that threatened to be broken by insecurity at any moment, in spite of himself at the sight of Keiko's smiling face. Despite Mr. Vantas and his ill-fated(though heartfelt and well-intended) actions, it was good to see Keiko smiling again. The young woman was not one whose features should ever be tarnished by a frown. The laugh she let out as she took his arm(causing an involuntary spasm as his fight-or-flight instinct kicked in again, which he scolded himself for now) told him that all was right again. "I.....I suppose we do, don't we?" He asked of the girl's observation. "Maybe we could? He questioned in return to her thought. "I don't see how it could hurt to have a fellow traveler on the waves of love along for the voyage." He admitted with a small laugh. He noticed the color of the light coming through the waterfall change as they sat behind it and pondered the day. Was it only just getting dark? It had felt so much later earlier. He had assumed it was simply a bright night and it was moonlight he was seeing shining through. But what sunset brought could be even more beautiful. As he thought this, the sunlight shining through was parted by the mist of the waterfall, splitting into a sunset rainbow before them. Daylight dies away Requiem of noon; Twilight Midnight rainbow shines

Keiko smiled and patted the ground next to her, inviting Al to sit beside her.
She couldn't think of anything more to say, so she chose to spend the rest of the evening in comfortable silence, enjoying the beauty of nature around her and Al.
As the night wore on, and Keiko started getting tired, her body would start leaning against his.

Al did indeed sit beside Keiko at her motioning. Before long, he found Tweety back outside with him, landing on his head with a yawn. The man remained quiet for now, deciding that silence would be preferable to breaking the moment of bonding that had suddenly developed.
As Keiko began to doze, Al gently wrapped his nearest arm around her shoulders, fighting his urge to move away once again. How could he be so cruel to her after she had defended him from Mr. Vantas' stupidity? Regardless, he kept his eyes glued to the beauty of nature laid out before him and simply held the girl up so she wouldn't fall.

Seeing as Keiko didn't snore or drool or make any other sign that she was even still alive, Keiko would probably be fast asleep before Al even knew it.

Reno jolted awake, remembering why he fell asleep on the couch and where he was, not in precisely that order. Looking at the main door, he saw it was still open. Keiko hadn't come back yet. That was promising for Reno's self appointed wingman role. Peeking out the door, he saw Al and Keiko still by the pond, but much closer together. Keiko actually looked asleep. Deciding to chance it, he quickly wrote up a note, made a paper airplane and sent it flying to land beside Al. Written on it would be,
Dear Al,
Glad to see you and Keiko together. Makes me feel fulfilled as your wingman to see I did the job right. And I hope you realize I had this planned from the start. Hope you don't mind terribly but you seemed angry before. And no, I'm nowhere as oblivious as my actions lead you to believe. But if you're really mad, why not come and show me your reasoning after miss Keiko is done her rest on your shoulder?
From your wingman, Reno Vantas

Tristen stood in the training room, tired, hunched over. "Tristen, are you going to be okay? You know you shouldn't over do it. For that matter, I warned you that this would happen."
"Are...are..."
"Are we close?"
"Yea..."
"No. You still got a ways to go." I told him. I gave a hard sigh. "Thats it for today, Tristen."
"But-"
"That's enough, Tristen. We will pick up later."
"Okay..."

Tails sat at the sidelines, still somewhat slumped over with the weight of his clothes. In subtle ways, Tristen performed a little better with every session: whether it was his speed, or the voltage he generated, or just how long he lasted in that hotseat.
"Tristen," he said, "You're still young. And developing. And stuff. You don't have to work your butt off like you used to. Besides, you're making me look lazy."

Tsuki sat on the kitchen counter, sipping a cup of coffee. He felt like that way fatigue feels while you numb yourself to the outside world. For once he was quiet. Felix was sitting on him, asleep and curled up on his lap. Well at least somebody was comfortable.

"I'm just trying...to...get..." "Put in the med lab, let Doc Owl get upset, and lose any progress that you have made?" "N-nooooo!" "Then trust me on this Tristen. Relax. We can get back into action tomorrow or something. Right now, you need to recover. Get some water, stretch, soak in the tub, something." "Okay..."

Tails snickered behind his hand. Blind to his own progress as he was, Tristen was, at the same time, such a kid. "Or if you want," he said, "I bet Muk could give you a massage~"

"Or if you want," he said, "I bet Muk could give you a massage~" A big pile of sludge that weighs more than his clothes giving him a massage? He'd be more bound to get buried by the Muk under it's own girth. "I think I'll soak." He said. The thought made him cringe. "Alright..." I stretched out. "I'll leave you to it." I then took my leave from the training room.

Trigram Attic After a moment of thought: "In cold water or hot?" Tails asked. "Hot water." Tristen said. He knew at just the right warm temp, it'd relax everything...and it would feel real good.

"Okay, let's just get going then~" Tails sang, and led the way to the door. He knew Tristen would have a hard time helping himself up, but the boy knew what he was getting himself into when he pushed himself like this. "Really though, I'm just playing about you making me look lazy. My specialty is playing with fire anyway."
