Kalore continued to look a bit confused before he sighed some, nodding at the other before sighing once more, “Fine… but I don’t think that I need to eat all that much more.” As they got to the house, though, the elf dropped his side of the argument. Out of everything to complain and fight about, food definitely wasn’t a priority in the man’s mind.

Monty nodded curtly and went into the kitchen with the items and started to put them away. Taking out certain things, he thought he would make the sweet ham with some of the fruits there to make it savory. Like a tropical ham with a side of herbed bread, since Kalore seemed to like that alot.

Sighing softly, Kalore soon was following the other as he was looking at what it was that the other was making. He had never made anything with ham before, having only had it a couple of times, actually. The elf was blinking just a bit as he continued to sit a bit back, looking over the other’s shoulder as he was making the food. Kalore didn’t get too close to the demon, but he was still looking. His curiosity was just a bit too strong.

Monty looked over his shoulder and offered Kalore a small bowl of the mix fruit that was strawberries, kiwi, and mango that was sweet, tangy and a bit spicy but a in a good way and it also had a piece of the sweet ham that smelled mouthwatering to Monty. "See if you like that."

Kalore took the bowl, nibbling on the fruit first before staring at the ham for a while, “It smells good…” But a lot of meat smelled good but just didn’t taste appealing to the other man. Blinking slowly, he sighed before taking a bite of it, shrugging some. “It’s better than a lot of what I’ve had, Monty.” It wasn’t good, but meat just wasn’t something that he liked to eat all that often, so it was hard for him to call meat good. “What did you do to it?”

Monty raised a brow, putting the stirred up fruits he let try into a bigger bowl with a piece of herbed bread he made. "I can't tell you my secret Kalore." He said, saving the ham for himself and handed him the new bowl. "Here. Eat."

Looking at the things that he had been given, Kalore soon was smiling a bit as he noticed that the other hadn’t given him any ham. Good boyfriend. Wait… boyfriend? Blinking some, Kalore was just standing there at the random thought that had gone through his mind. There were a few more blinks as he looked up at Monty, “Random question… Are you my boyfriend?” To most people that would be a retarded question, but Kalore was curious on what Monty thought about him. It seemed like that’s what they were… but he didn’t know if that’s how Monty saw them. Hopefully it was… but he wouldn’t know unless he asked.

"If that's what I am to you, then yes. Unless you wish to have a casual and open relationship where we not only sleep together but sleep with others?" He asked, looking at the elf and raising a brow.

His eyes widened and he shook his head, “No…I don’t do things like that.” Kalore almost looked annoyed at even the suggestion of something like that happening between them, but the look was gone soon as he sighed a bit. “I…I like the idea of you only being with me…” Kalore was nibbling on a kiwi, sighing once more, “I just didn’t know if you thought the same way.” He smiled a bit before moving to sit down at the table. He normally didn’t use his own table but… eh.

Rolling his eyes, he took his plate to the table and sat down, starting to eat his food. Of course he was the elf's boyfriend. It wouldn't be a real relationship if he wasn't. It would have been like a comrades slash friends with benefits relationship if he wasn't a boyfriend. "Would you rather we be friends with benefits?" He asked, slightly amused.

“Of course not!” Looking surprised, Kalore shook his head, “Boyfriend is what I want you to be… I was hoping that you would be that, and you said that you were, so you’re stuck with it.” Giving a little ‘hm!’ at the end of the words, Kalore was soon nibbling on the bread, blinking at the taste. “This is good…”

Monty rolled his eyes. "Brat." He growled and focused on his food. If he ignored the elf long enough he might annoy Kalore to the point of pouting and whining. Something that was amusing to witness.

Kalore frowned just a bit, “I am not a brat…” He rolled his eyes at the other before soon nibbling on the bread. His good mood was back and the elf was once again in a talkative mood, making it a bit hard to actually ignore him successfully. When most of the conversations went nowhere, the elf decided to try something that he figured would get some form of reaction out of the demon. “So, what’s in the basement that I’m not allowed to see?”

Monty dropped his fork and glanced up dangerously at Kalore. "Nothing for your eyes to see." He said. What he was hiding down there was a large room he used as a hiding place but also sometimes for his ritual sacrifices. The walls, floor and ceiling of the basement were covered in blood, his blood, in intricate designs of the demon language of wards for protection. Not for him but for this part of the city.
What people didn't know was Gambler, Monty and Kyoshi put protective wards in their respective languages at four corners of the city with their blood. Only Monty happen to live in this corner of the city and did it in his basement. That and he didnt want his elf having a heart attack in looking at it and thinking he will be the next sacrifice. Which was why he did everything in the dark in the basement.

The elf jumped as the other was glaring at him as he was, simply blinking a bit, “I… Okay.” He blinked a few more times as his mind went into overdrive. What was it that he was hiding in the basement? There were a few things that he knew of that a demon could be hiding, but Kalore wasn’t going to say that he knew what it was that demons did. All he could do was guess as he bit his lip softly.
“So… I take it that even saying please won’t get me the answer this time?”
