“But…” He sighed softly before soon looking around, biting his lip some as he noticed that he didn’t know what half of the labels were. Kalore may be able to read the language, but that didn’t mean anything when the words meant nothing to him. Half of the food there he had never tried, and over half of the remaining foods just weren’t appealing to him. Sighing some, the blonde’s shoulders were slumped as he got white bread, strawberries, and some pomegranates. Other than that… There wasn’t much that he could see that he liked or knew of.

Kalore didn’t know if Monty was upset with his lack of food choices, but he didn’t know what it was that he could do about it. He just didn’t eat much that was there, but mainly because he had never tried it. If Monty asked him to, then he probably would… but oh well. Kalore was looking through the candy, blinking some at the ones that he didn’t know before timidly putting some chocolate for himself, blinking at the other. He knew that Monty had said that he could get whatever he wanted, but that didn’t mean that the other wasn’t cautious about what it was that he got.

The man shook his head, “I told you… I don’t eat much. Strawberries, bread and basil dips, water, and chocolate. That’s honestly all that I actually think of getting…” it was unhealthy, but he just never came out and got much else, except for salads. He smiled softly at the other, “I’m easy to cook for.” He shrugged a bit before glancing back over at Monty. Was he doing something wrong? Again?

He frowned bit as the man took all of the bags but he simply sighed some, following him. “Um… I normally don’t like it… but I’m sure that I could try some.” Kalore nodded a bit, knowing that whatever it was that Monty made would be something that he could deal with. It would be different, and the curiosity in the elf did cause him to want to try new things pretty often. “Why? What are you wanting to make, Monty?”

Blinking a bit at the other, the elf soon was sitting in the car. “Huh… I’ve never had that.” He blinked again before sitting back just a bit in the chair. It was hard, to try and relax in a place that he knew nothing of, even if it was just a car, but it wasn’t completely impossible. He sighed some before glancing over at him. “Is it hard to make?”

Kalore smiled just a bit at the other before shaking his head, “I’m sure that I’ll like it. Monty, you don’t need to cook specifically for me.” He wasn’t hard to cook for, seeing as if he didn’t like something then he would just eat the veggies or sides that came with it while nibbling a bit on the real food. It was how he had gotten through most of his friends’ cooking… and Joker’s… but Joker could cook really well, so he felt a bit bad for doing that to the insane man.

Kalore looked taken aback by the other’s words. He ate very little junk food, mostly fruits… “But, I don’t eat junk foods…” He just didn’t eat much with anything that he ate. Kalore had a sweet tooth, but normally it was taken care of when he ate fruits. “I just don’t eat that much.” He blinked again as he watched the other, poking his own stomach as he looked at it. He ate enough… Well, Kalore thought so.
