Shadow stood and shook his head. He saw scars on her back and the eyes caught him off gaurd. If Shadow didn't knwo anybetter he would think that this was Nadea but Nadea was dead now. Almost everything about this woman reminded him of her. He managed to compose himself and sat back down. "Hello there Lydia. you must be new here. I am Shadow, head of security here at this mansion. We weclome all guests here. We have many rooms if you need to rest or if you intend to be staying with us for a prolonged period of time. The servants can give you food and anything else you require." he said as he looked down to the table.

"Justin needs to sleep and I think Alexia was scared into sleeping." She said tucking a blanket over the kids as they laid there. "I'm not asleep momma." Felicity looked over to Vicki with hollow eyes and a small sweat forming on her forehead, she was still paler than she normally was. "Maybe I'll go down stairs and get some blood."

I got up and headed over to the couch and layed down, I was more tired today than usual but I attributed it to the trip to Felicity's house, "Night Felicity" I said just before dozing off

Lydia smiled softly, "Really now? I don't know if thats a good thing or a bad thing!" she laughed and then frowned in thought and she flashed back to the lake, "I honestly can't tell you. I remember waking up next to a lake...and then...i must've passed out beneath the willow tree in the front yard." she said slowly as her memory slowly came back to her. "I woke up and knocked on the door, but no one answered so i just...came in here and waited." she shrugged.

"Don't worry about it. I'll get over it in time." he said with a warm, welcoming smile. "You woke up by the lake?" Shadow said, things were getting strange for him. Thoughts started to swim in his mind but they didn't make any sense to him. They were all scattered theorys and other thing but nothing coherant. "Well, it is a good thing you found us then. That forest can be very dangerous. Can you remember anything from before you woke up by the lake?" he said, trying to peice together some things. He didn't knwo what he was getting at, as far as he knew the poor girl had lost her memory and fallen into the lake.

Shadow heard Felicity in his mind. 'That is good to know. I am sorry that I could not come to help. I had a problem with Malcie, the one I told you about.' he said through their mental link.

When Shadow saw the scars clearly his mind started to get overly active. So must pointed to this woman being Nadea but she couldn't be. Shadow forced the thoughts form his mind. "You have two scars on your back there. They look quite nasty." he said as he turned his eyes away from the scars. He didn't need this, he was barely over the death of his friend and now there is someone who looks almost like her. Hew was confused and lost as to what to do or say. He had to be a good host though so he tried to make it seem as if nothing was wrong with him.

Lydia turned back around with a puzzled expression on her face, "How the heck did i get scars?" she wondered as her green eyes focused on a vase in the middle of the table. Anger was starting to rise in her being, she was confused and very irate at herself for not remembering. The vase started to shake and she looked quickly away. "So umm Shadow...you like books. Right?" she asked suddenly.
