Zeph nodded in satisfaction, then went after another bludger. So far, he seemed to be the only beater on Hufflepuff's side doing anything. However, the Gryffindor beaters hadn't been able to do much, so he figured he had a shot of doing decently. Taking aim, he lined up and swung a bludger in Ivy's direction.

spaceJazzy saw the hit coming, but she still didn't manage to dodge it; the bludger slammed into her shoulder, and she heard a loud crack. Damn, that hurt! The Gryffindor swore, she was going to have to rethink this eternal rivalry with Fay... She might have to swear it on Zeph instead. On that note, it felt like this was probably going to become a permanent thing; her glaring at Lynn's older brother, that is. He'd had taken yet another swing at Ivy, much to her annoyance. She hadn't managed to save the seeker last time, but hopefully this time she'd do better... and actually manage to hit the ruddy giant while she was at it, because obviously it needed to be done.
