As the next day came, Kalore was walking around his own home, moving so that he could program the annoying phone and just get back to doing something productive. He had found some interesting things about the Hunters, some things that he knew that he needed to tell the others, but first this annoying phone needed to be programmed. As he did so, he thought about the information that he had gotten.

There were only six Hunters. There originally had been ten when Lucien was in charge, but something had happened to the other four, but most people figured that the count included Lucien himself. That didn’t bother him, though. All that that meant was that there were only four left: three underlings and a leader. But there was something that did bother him.

Now that Lucien was gone, there was someone else that was a leader… but he didn’t exactly know who it was. All that people knew was that it was someone that was in power. That wasn’t very helpful, seeing as there were different forms of power around the area that could control them, but who knew who they could be? Hell, he had even checked out Eri, but it was obvious that it wasn’t him…

But… then who?

Kalore had finally gotten done with his phone and soon was calling Rave’s number. It was one of the only ones that he knew by heart at the moment. As it rung, he started to head downstairs, laughing when all he got from the other man was a grunt. Rave had never been a morning person… “Come on, Ravie… I’m not that bad of a thing to hear in the morning… Am I?” Pouting some, Kalore was heading into his kitchen.

Groaning softly, Rave started to sit up a bit, “Kalore? What the hell?” He knew that the other would be shrugging, “I just wanted to make sure that the phone was working, and your number is the only one that I know of by heart.” Nodding some, rave sighed once more as he sat up completely, resting his forehead on his hand, “Okay… Are you doing okay?”

The blonde snickered, nodding some, “Don’t worry, I’m fine, I’m fine. I just wanted to tell you some stuff that I found out.” Tell Rave the information that he knew, Kalore finally got into kitchen, but soon was frozen.

On his counter was a newly dead body, no markings that he recognized other than a slit throat. It was a wood elf; the breed that Kalore was. He backed away, noticing that the mask was white, so he was relatively safe, but that wasn’t what bothered him. What bothered him was the fact that they had gotten a body, in his house, and recently. Without him knowing it.

“Kalore? Kalore, you okay?”

The phone was dropped and Kalore was gone, quickly making it to Joker’s. He was knocking on the door, a bit frantically within minutes. Rave heard, frowning more. What had happened?

Kalore barely noticed that it was gambler as he soon was inside, “Where’s Rave?” His accent was coming out more as he noticed that Rave was quickly inside, frowning more, “kalore?” Soon the other was telling him about what it was that he had seen.

“It was in my house Rave! No one, but Monty and Kit, knows where I live!” Rave frowned more, looking more worried, “Why… Why you?” “I don’t care why, I want to know how! Rave, I was awake for hours and I heard nothing!” The two were soon speaking quickly in elvish, but it was only so that the dark haired man could keep up with the angry blonde. He knew that the rage was covering up something else, though, having known Kalore for this long. The other elf was terrified, but he didn’t want to admit it.

The two were speaking sharply to one another, Kalore panicking but finally moving into another room, passing by the kitchen as he was still livid. Rave followed, sighing softly but following him nonetheless. He was worried, just like Kalore was, but he was actually showing his worry instead of getting angry. His friend was just someone that didn’t like to get worried, or get scared. Instead of getting to either of those, Kalore simply got angry and ranted, but Rave knew the fear in his friend’s eyes as they got into his old room.

“I don’t know why they’re there, though.” “I don’t either… Is it because of you finding out the information?” They were still speaking in elvish as Kalore shrugged, pacing before being forced to sit down, “I don’t know… It was white, so it was simply a warning, but… How did they get in there without me knowing?!”

The two were gone for a while. It was almost an hour before Rave finally came out, running a hand through his hair, “Well… obviously he’s not happy…” Grumbling about that, he went to get something to drink before anything else was done. Kalore was pacing, more worried about how it was that he had been found and eluded more than the fact that there was a dead body. If the mask was red, or black, then he would have been more concerned. But white was just a warning, and he wasn’t going to be contacted. Maybe if he was then they could take out another, though… but that just meant that he needed to find out more about these guys and take them out for invading his privacy.

Sighing softly, rave was massaging his temples, “There’s a dead body in Kalore’s home… or there was. It was fresh when Kalore found it, which meant that it was placed there while he was already awake.” Anyone that knew that man knew that it was near impossible to do anything in a home without Kalore hearing, especially in his own home. “He doesn’t know why it’s there, but I figured that it’s got something to do with him knowing more about the hunters than he should… but he found some interesting information that’s helpful.”

Rave explained a bit more about them, thankful that there were only four left, but he also pointed out that the mask was white. “So… he’s safe… but I agree with him. How in the hell did they get in there without him knowing it?” He looked at Gambler, “Any ideas?”

Rave sighed softy, shaking his head, “Lucien’s dead… he’s been dead twice now… the hunters should have been disbanded by now or at least killed themselves…” Groaning some, he had his hand on his temple once more, trying to think about this. Eldin soon was poking his head in, but silent as he listened to what it was that was going on. It was obvious that they were being led by someone that didn’t like Dusk, Ziggy, tolerated Talon, and didn’t seem to like tolerating Kalore. But… there honestly weren’t that many people that he knew about, that knew all of them. That would narrow them down, but most of the people that he could think of… it just wouldn’t make sense or would be impossible.
