Anjafey chuckled darkly and looked up at Ari from her place on the ground. "Not much to say," she replied softly. "I-I fought with Rendo, earlier. And..well, things didn't turn out so great. He's convinced I tried to kill him." She sighed heavily and sat up.

Edit: Sorry, missed the post where Twilight pounced him... I fixed it. ^.^;
Michie's ears twitched toward the fox known as Sigal, as she instructed her sister to go after 'the kit.' With a quick glance around, he was able to discern that he was, in fact, the kit that she meant. Smirking, he hunkered down, waiting for Twilight to come near him. He didn't have to wait long, and he tumbled back as she jumped at him, barely saving himself from becoming 'it.' With a gleeful laugh, he scrabbled to his feet, then took off around the pile of meat, in the direction of Sigal and the other kits.

"I'm under attack!" Sigal shouted, as Yudoku pounced on her. Now she had two kits to try and shake off of her back!
Sigal ran around in circles, squirmed, and did whatever else she could think of to try to get the pair off of her back.
Ari sat down next to Anjafey.
"You two fought? Over what, if you don't mind me asking?" Anjafey and Rendo had an...interesting relationship, as far as Ari was concerned. But anything that managed to do this to them had to be something very serious.
"You didn't really try to kill him, did you?" Ari didn't think so, yet...Best to be safe.

Anjafey gave Ari a rueful grin. "Over lots of things, really. Things that were better left unsaid, and things we needed to talk about all that time ago, when we first met."
She laughed and added for clarification, "It was sparked by a meeting with my sister in law, Rei, and her family. One of my nieces, I beleiee she was, and I got into a bit of a quarrely. Feeling disgusted with myself, I ran off, and Rendo followed. He pushed for me to open up to him, and I pushed back, I started to run, and he eventually caught up. Words were spoken."
She looked up at him with a raised eyebrow. "Try to kill him? Moon Fox, no. When I stopped running, it was because I found myself at the edge of a cliff. He barely managed to stop himself, and accused me of trying to kill him. Like I had been in the area before."
She vaguely wondered what Ari must think of this; she was aware that very few seemed to take her relationship with Rendo very seriously. They were far too different.
She smiled kindly at him. "But come now, don't let me drag down on your party. Go. Spend time with Kazuki...you should be happy on Sigal's last night here, not spending it listening to my troubles."

After much effort, Sigal finally succeeded in 'removing' the kits from her back. The flew a few feet away, rolls on the ground as they landed and laughing. "That was fun!," Kin'iro said as she got back up and shook the dirt off of her.
Yudoku nodded and did the same. "Yeah! I never realized that foxs this much bigger than us could be so fun! I really like it here."
"Me too," Kin'iro said in agreement, smiling wide. "This whole tribe thing really seems nice. Makes me wonder why anyone would want to be on their own."

Twilight missed the moogle-kit by and inch and skidded on the ground. She ended up right in front of her mother, whom she winked at and scampered off to play tag some more.
Spying the two sister kits, Twilight jumped at them, trying to tag them both but not crush them under her weight.

Kazuki just seemed to stay quickly again. He noticed somethign was up with Anajafey and watched Ari go off to talk to her. He went and had torn off a piece of meet and was chewing quietly. Heartbreak and himself seemed to be pretty quiet. Maybe he should talk with her? KAzuki swallowed the meat and shook his head. It wouldn't be wise. He felt so unblances so unsure he needed to get away. Getting up slowly seeing everyone was distracted it was pretty simple for him to disappear behind a few trees.
Slowly he made his way to the mountians. He needed to pray and be as close to the Moon Fox as possible. He slowly made his way up. Certian that he was not followed it was there he sat in the center of the prayer circle and closed his eyes. His mind slowly going over all the thoughts and feelings he felt he needed to go over.

Heartbreak was still lounging around the food pile, and tensed up when Kazuki approached. She was slightly relieved that he didn't cause any commotion, and relaxed when he just chewed his food and walked away.
Subconsciously, she watched the Elder quietly leave the camp. She tried not to wonder what he was doing, but her curiousity was strong. Besides, she was bored stiff sitting here doing nothing. Heartbreak kept on thinking to herself that she wouldn't be detected if she did want to follow him.
She silently lifted herself up and padded after Kazuki.

Noticing the sudden departure of Kazuki, Amira found herself growing worried. She hoped that the elder was all right. The commotion caused by the arrival of Ari's family must be complicated for him. Gazing in the direction that Kazuki had disappeared to, Amira found her train of thought broken when she spied another following the elder. "Is that Heartbreak? What is she doing?" Despite the urge to follow the two, Amira forcibly turned back to the pile of food and to her mate. Padding over, she took a few fruits and some meat to eat a little away from the giant mound. Perhaps Nato would know what Heartbreak was up to.

"Is it truly too late to go talk to him now? Whatever it is that you think you should have sorted out back then?"
He listened, going over Anjafey's story compared to what he had been told by Tanith. He had been hoping to speak to Anjafey and Rendo together about the incident, but maybe waiting wasn't such a good idea.
"I'd been told..." Ari forced himself to say it, even though he hated it, hated feeling like he was accusing her. Which he supposed, technically, he was. But nonetheless...
"I'd been told that you attacked her. Not just quarreled." He left off the part that she was a kit. He felt almost...guilty, saying that.
Ari watched Kazuki go off, and Heartbreak follow. Ari knew Kazuki had a lot to deal with, between his two daughters and their mother, and knew Kazuki needed alone time.
But Heartbreak following...
He and she were on better terms now, but Ari still wasn't quite sure if he trusted her alone with his mate. He was pretty sure she had enough sense to try to not do anything to Kazuki on purpose, but he could easily see her saying something accidentally that wouldn't be taken too well.
Follow the pair, and try to mediate, or stay here with Anjafey?
Ari tried not to sigh. Everything had been going so well, and now suddenly all these things happening at once, all of this responsibility piled onto him, problem after problem...
If it was just one thing at a time, fine. But he felt like a sleeze trying to decide if the problems of his mate and the mother of his daughters were more or less important than the problems of a very loyal tribe member who had been there from the start.
"I don't know why anyone would, either," Sigal said to the two kits. She'd hate to not have others around her, hate to be on her own.
Which was why she was leaving Daddy's tribe. Surrounded by others, but she was on her own, because she was awake when they slept, and they slept when she was awake.
Seeing Twilight was coming back this way, Sigal ran off again, before her sister could tag her.

"Verbally, maybe," Anjafey replied with a yawn. "And it was a stupid move. But I never truly laid a paw on her. Even if I very much wanted to."
So he had heard. Interesting. "Besides, Ari. I had no intentions of attacking her while she was still a kit. When she grew...I don't know why, but all of my instincts from kithood came back, and I grew reckless."
She sent him a sidelong glance. "There are...things...in my past, Ari. Things even Rendo cannot know. Things that made me almost attack a new adult. These days, I have them under control. But, when we met Rendo's family, and I suppose yours," she added wrly. "I was going through a rough spot, and I lost control. That's all there is to that."
"Now. Go. You won't hurt my feelings if you leave me here. In fact, if you don't go, I'll leave myself. I refuse to keep you away from your family."
((For the record..she's never killed another fox. Not what I meant.))

Kazuki remained silent in prayer when he stoped his ears twitched and he turned slowly. A breeze passed by and he took a good wiff. It was HEartbreak. Wait?! Heartbreak?! Why did she follow him? This was confusing to Kazuki. He glazed out and figured she would behind a rock since up on the top of the mountian there wasnt many places where an adult fox could hide.
"Heartbreak come out. I know your there..."Kazuki sighed gently and shook his head. Just when he thought he would be alone.

The two kits eeped and tried to dodge while Twilight pounced at them. Yudoku was successful in evading, but Kin'iro not so much so. "@_@" She quickly tried to shake it off, as she supposed that she was now 'it'. Spying around, she decided to go after the male kit in the tribe, seeing as he might be easier prey than the adults.
Yudoku smiled and kept her distance, running with Sigal and Twilight away from the new tagger. "This might go on for a while," she commneted as they ran. "As far as hunting goes, she's decent at it, but not all that great. Just enough to get by." Amidst all of their play, the two remained oblivious to the on-goings of the other adults.

Heartbreak froze in her place. She wasn't expecting for Kazuki to know she was there, but thinking about it now, it was probable that he was going to. He was an Elder after all, more powerful than normal Modifoxes.
Trying carefully not to make the situation worse, she answered in a soft voice, "Yes?"
Twilight bounced away after she tagged the yellow kit, and went over to Sigal. Seeing that 'it' was not after any of them at the moment, she tried to start up a conversation.
"Hey Sigal. How's it going anyway?" Twilight asked cheerfully.

Senka lay beneath the shelter of the tree. Her meat was now finished and everyone was still gathered around. It was still a little too crowded for her. She finished the last mouthful of meat and walked over to grab another piece. She wondered where Nako had gone and then lay back down.
