Getting Shineys?
::The boy pondered for a moment. As his "prey" escaped from under him. He tapped his chin and his eyes wandered about. This was a deep issue, it required much though, and much planning, all of which took about...half a second. And he popped to his feet and shouted.::
I'm coming!!
::It was then that the womans voice seeped into his ears. He turned to face her, and was immediately dumbfounded by her beauty. Now he was only around 11 and pubery hadnt hit yet, but he was inspired enough to say.::
Ooooo your pretty.
::And with a bright smile, again showing none of his teeth, he answered her question. While repeatedly nodding his head..::
Mhmm, mhmm mhmm! I'm gonna go wif him and get some!
::And he ran off behind the swashbuckler, with his rather large bandaged "object" being dragged behind him and scaring a trail in the ground. He was like a carefree child...or rather he was a carefree child.::

"Amunet... you know children torment animals... Am I really going to have to travel with him?" Tarik didn't sound very thrilled to learn that a child had just joined the party.
"Yes, Tarik... I think he's rather cute and he'll certainly makes things fun..." Amunet smiled as she slung her bags over her shoulder and followed behind the crazy swashbuckler and the mysterious boy. Tarik, as always, stayed right by her side.

Well hey, the more the merrier right? Turriens crept along the dockside, always looking around inbetween intervals where he would keep his eye on the target ship. As he neared, he stopped at a large section of crate and began to think to himself how he was going to do this.
Well, being a small group of people, it didnt seem likely that he would be able to coommandeer the ship, and even if he did, he didnt even know where to start to get to the pirate's hideout. So, with those facts in mind, he decided that he and his band of merry men, and woman, would stow away, surprise the pirates when they get to the hideout, take the loot, and escape.
Somehow, that sounded easier than it really was.

: biggrin efinately easier said than done.
The little boy was in fact very oblivious to most things. As he followed Turriens he didnt duck or dodge, he simply walked with his sword dragging behind him, and a look of curiousity on his face.
It was good, because he was so short that he was actually able to hide behind most crates just by standing next to them.
That was good and well, until Turriens came to a stop and started peering around the crate, at which point the little boy came close, tapped him on the should and spoke. In a voice, which was most definately not a whisper...::
Are you hiding? Why are you hiding? Are we going to get the shineys? Are the shineys over there? Why are you hiding?
::Have you ever seen or heard a child while he was waiting in line at the movie theaters? Or at a toy store? Have you heard how fast he talks and how much he talks about the one thing he's waiting for? That was this boy, right now.::

Turriens jumped and and stood casually as to look inconspicuous. "Oh, I'm not hiding... yet." he told the child as he looked around. "We'll do the hiding after we get onto that ship." he said, pointing at the pirate ship before he continued his plan, "We'll hide on the ship, and the pirates will take us to their hideout without knowing. Then we will get the shineys." he said, steepling his fingers at the end of his brilliant plan.

Awwight Mistew, I'll wait fow you.::The kid said as his face squished up, and squeezed his hands together in front of his face trying to cover the squeal. Loving the fact that this plan directly lead to shiney's he followed it. Exactly. Which is to say he kneeled down and copied the pose of Turiens in every way. Even fixing his hair so that it was just as it was cut and combed to be. Parted right down the middle and draping a bit on each side of his face. And he waited, with a copied look on his face for someone else to make the first move. All the while making sure to keep his mouth shut, and strangely, he didnt even seem to notice or be effected by the wieght on his back.::

Amunet rolled her eyes. This adventure just kept getting better. So, they were going to stow away on the ship. She hoped the swashbuckler was accounting for the time they might be at sea. While Tarik could easily pilfer food or hunt rats for Amunet and himself to eat, feeding a band of merry men was a bit harder. She also wondered just how all of them were supposed to hide and remain hidden.
The young woman looked down at Tarik who was giving her a rather odd look. "Oh don't look at me like that... I'm sure everything will be fine... besides, we have to go now so we can look after the poor kid..." Truth be told, Amunet wouldn't dare leave the child alone with the nutcase swashbuckler.

He waited until the pirate crew left their vessel to get supplies for the town, ever watchful with the child mimicking his every move. And then, as they disappeared, he began to move, ever in a sneaky fashion as he supposed there would be some still aboard the ship to guard it or something "Come on, times a being wasted."

THe fat manager had been dumped uncerimoniously outside the Shield headquarters, along with a note stuffed into his pocket telling the police of where to find tens of millions of illegal gambling money.
Now Meryl perched atop a tall building, overlooking the vast, wide city...and sighed.
There was so much ground to cover...and so little time to cover it in.
"Report." A voice suddenly came in over her headset, the tiny transmitter stuck in her ear delivering the words directly to the earbones - no one else but her could hear them.
"Subject 13B5T was apprehended and disposed at the local authorities with little hassle." Meryl muttered into her tiny microphone attached to the lapel of her cloak. "The crowd was cleaned up and the venue deserted. I sealed the door and boobytrapped it with some explosives, and left instructions for the cops on how to get around it. Everything is sorted."
"Excellent. We have more work for you, if you're interested..."
Meryl sighed, lowering her sunglasses to rub her eyes. One thing about being a government approaved vigilante was that you did not get as much leinancy as you'd hoped. "Fine. But aftet this i'm taking a break, wether you like it or not."
"It's nothing serious. Simply some bodyguard work. A council member - well, one being admitted as a council member - by the name of Victor."
Meryl shuffled in her perch, moving her legs slightly so they didn't cramp up on her. "Council member? Why not use a team?"
"Because this demands discrection. Something you are adept with...
"Sure. Adept. Whatever you say." Adept. How droll.
"Simply overlook the procedures and then report back to me. Thats all."
Meryl let out a long, slow breath, biting her full lips - before standing, her cloak flowing out from around her as she looked down at the busy streets. "Fine. But i'm gonna have to get dressed up. So it'll be extra."
And wiht that she stepped off the edge of the walkway she had been crouching on and was swallowed by the long shadows of morning twilight...

"Arrrrgh!"
Tra la la la la la. The docks were busy, busy. As supplies and various other "items" were being trucked on over to the 'archaic' looking vessel, what little of the crew remained behind, took care of the process of transferring goods, and what not.
There really wasn't anything like, security, or a patrol, 'cause let's face it-- who'd have the balls to sneak on to a pirate ship?
"Load those barells right damnit!"
We're the pirates who don't do anything! We just stay home and lie around! And if you ask us, to do anything, we'll just tell you: we don't do anything!

Purely Jayney Amber nodded and smiled, sighing inwardly with relief. Although she loved all of John, there were some parts of him she could do without for now. Having to deal with Tomorrow being one of them.
"Won't a rid be difficult to organise if we're going all the way into the mountains?" the anthro questioned. John rolled his eyes at his finance and sighed, looking down to Juuni. "Details, details, all these details. We'll fly, wont we sweetheart!"Actually, he hadn't a clue how they could fly. Juuni had her wings...and John could turn Knight of Light, with his plasma wings...but the effort to create and maintain his Knight of Light status took a very hard toll on his elecrtrical powers. He was joking mostly - but he was sure they'd be able to find some kind of steed to ride - perhaps even a car?

(( Going on the assumption that Enki was still just wandering in the Docks... since... I have no idea, and I've been way too out of it lately to actually make the post like I said I was going to. stressed ))
Vnn nnn nnn nnn nnn nnn nnn nnn... Vnn vnn VNN nnn nnn nnn nnn nnn nnn nnn...
The rattling sound of the scooter picked up and died down as the engine revved repeatedly; winding in and out through the small alleyways and winding paths of the Latent docks. The rider wouldn't have picked this place as the first one to look, if not for the helpful directions given to him by some of the villagers he had asked on the way into town. Though, as another box came into view behind the one he just passed, and another crate beyond that, and a support beam for an overhead structure went by his right shoulder, the black-clad man had no worries about whether or not he would find what he was looking for.
The handlebars cranked to the left and the scooter took a sharp turn around a corner, and finally came into the clear again from between two warehouses; and that is where it stopped.
The man put one foot down on either side of the scooter, and let the engine idle for must a moment; smiling despite himself at the luck of the draw. About thirty feet away was a tall man with stunning blue hair and a nagitana in hand; the perfect description of a certain Mr. Enki Leviathan.

Reiko woke up in a dark room with his face burried in ice. His eyes went far left and saw the outside of whatever building he was in. He groaned as he started raising his hand to take the ice off his face.
"I don't think you've healed completely, yet."
"Rose? ..."
Yep there she was again. But wait...
"Why am I not healed yet? It was only one hard punch to the face."
"When I found you I gave you a few more."
"What did I do?"
"Well there was some fuss in the back area of that place. But when I found you... well, they won't anyone get close to the fighters in the place unless... they actually are close to the fighters."
"So..."
"Shut up, just shut up. I can't even believe I said it myself. In fact, we're not gonna mention it again, okay?"
"Ohh~ I didn't know we were like that!"
Reiko laughed and saw Rose silently get up from where she was sitting. He couldn't see through the bag, but she had walked to the foot of the bed he was in. Suddenly he heard a loud rip and felt a great force come down between his legs, and rather close to his groin.
"That was a warning."
"Geez, I was just joking."

Finally, the dawn had as a soft breeze began to blow through the ports of Latent. The crew of The Mad Killer were already set to work, making last minute touches to their beloved ship as their captian was sleeping peacefully in her quarters. Everything was being taken care of, from mopping the deck to hoisting the sails and this was all thanks to the first mate of the crew Johnathon Wales. Finally Mr. Wales decided it was time for their young captain to wake up and join them for their journey was about to begin.
With the long strides he normally happened to take he walked over to the mahogany door and knocked three times. There was no answer. He sighed figuring that the captain was being a typical teenager and opened the door ever so slowly. A smile formed upon his face at the sight he saw before him.
There in the large King sized lied his captain, the young and innocent rabbit Madison. With her long crimson hair covering half of her fragile face, she seemed to look like a fallen angel of sorts. Quietly, Johnathon walked over and tapped her lightly on the shoulder. Naturally, The rabbit swatted the air around her completely missing her first mate.
"Cap'ain....It's time to set sail."
"No mommy...I don't want to...." replied the young rabbit in a sleepy manner. She soon curled up in the bed tightly and fell back into her land of dreams. This however, was not amusing Johnathon at all. With a quick moment he grabbed the corner of the blank and yanked on it. Thus leaving his captain without a blanket. Madi quickly shot up to reveal that she infact was wearing a long white shirt that she seemed to have found in the closet. She eyed her first mate carefully with slight anger in her eyes.
"Why did you wake me up for?"
"We need the cap'ain in order to set sail." Replied Johnathon with a sheepish grin on his face. Madi soon sighed and shooed him away allowing her to get changed into the proper attire. Her first mate bowed and wondered out to let his leader prepair for the day. Once the door was shut she shot out of bed and reviewed her map. It infact seemed absolutely amazing. Her whole trip was planned out. And she was ready.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
After a few moments, Madison wandered out to view her crew intently. They all seemed very handy with their work and willing to get what was done. She smiled brightly and happily as she leaned on the railing between her and her crew. Beside her shortly, Johnathon stood beside her.
"So where exactly are we headed?
"The Tundra, Mr. Wales."
"The Tundra?" questioned the first mate confusingly. His captain soon turned to him and looked him in the eyes with her framed glasses. Her crimson red eyes sparkled like rubies as she continued to look at him.
"Yes, The Tundra. Here is the Map. Now....Cast us off." Ordered the rabbit as she placed the mapped out route to him. Within Secounds orders were being given by the great man as Madison watched with curiousity. The crew acted frantically getting the ship set. It was so much life upon the ship it made Madi smile. Soon the raised sails picked up the minor gust of wind, and they were off, off to the Tundra. Or atleast that's what Madi would believe.

As the swashbuckler neared the vessel to get a closer look at the number of pirates were on it, he suddenly felt as if this would be easier than he first imagined. With no sentries posted, he would have wondered if there was a reason behind this, but being who he is, a complete idiot, he didnt even have a second thought.
"Hmm..." He hmm-ed as he stopped, left hand stroking at his finely trimmed mustache as he looked at the ship, another plan coming to mind. Seeing that the pirate crew was busy overseeing the placement and arrival of supplies, it would prove difficult to walk right up in front of them. However, being the sneaky fellow that Turriens was, he devised a little plan of action. That being to commandeer a small row boat, go up to the opposite side of the pirate ship which was unobserved, and sneak in through one of the cannon holes or something.
With that plan in mind, he whipped around to tell his comrades.
