Have to say, compared to most of the stuff on page 53, the one I got seems kind of lame. sweatdrop I ended up buying a ROTF Ravage while at Ohayocon (I had promised myself to start my Transformers collection if I saw anything there). I haven't tried getting it to it's alt form yet (which I think is just an impact ship), so I'm not sure how difficult that is. The head/mouth does move via a lever-like spine on the back. Legs and guns are pretty mobile, but I was disappointed that the tail doesn't move much. Flexible tails are hard to make, I guess.
At this moment Ravage is lurking on a shelf above my head, glaring down with his one eye as I type. blaugh

And pardon the double-post, but Legends Devastator is an awesome little guy. Some of his parts are less impressive than others, but as a set they're definitely worth the 32 bucks, especially for seven Legends-class figures.

Recently aquired ROTF Lockdown.
He and Bludgeon are the only ROTF figures I will purchase. I still hold a grudge against the ROTF line for knocking out Animated like it did.
ROTF Lockdown is nice. I wish they had implemented that neck joint with TFA Lockdown. Also for some reason on my particular lockdown, the elbow ball-socket joint on his left arm is loose, and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do to fix it. *shrug*

Wow . . . been a while since I posted here . . .
Well, yesterday I made out quite nicely. Picked up a MP Skywarp for $25, just too good to pass up. Acquired 'Blazemaster' from the movie line for $10, and am unsure on him as he has some serious awkwardness to him, and got a great twinpack of Beachcomber/Deadlift (repaint of Dirt Boss, like this name and color scheme better) . . .
and I now have Legends Class Devastator- hereby redubbed the 'Cutestructicons!' I agree with Thew in that the combined form is fairly rubbish except as some sort of troll, but slag these guys are cute and awesome!!!!

I took a break for a while as I recently became a dad. My most recent purchases include scouts Skystalker, Scattorshot and Brakedown, as well as deluxe ROTF Dirge and Legends Devastator. I'm pretty satisfied with each of them.

Got my grubby servos on a Skystalker today. Must say, I am liking it. The transformation is involved enough for a scout, and his size impressed me. His weapons (axes no less!) hide in the alt mode, and what is most odd is his (spring-loaded) feet make for an interesting gerwalk mode.
In bot mode, I note that his alt engines are his shins, making flight theoretically viable. With all his weight on his legs, he could support himself in flight with remarkable control. cool
EDIT 6/17/2010: Slaggin' WIN!!!!! I went on a search for Mindwipe, and instead found the apparently rare TF:A Arcee and Cybertronian Ratchet! eek xd

I recently came back to Gaia, and I thought HEY, WHY NOT YELL ABOUT MY NEW TOYS!
My local TRU stocked all the new HFTD, PCC and Generations figures. I got
GENERATIONS WFC Prime - FANTASTIC Drift - Horrid character, but FANTASTIC TOY! Thrust - Meh, I don't like the seeker mold, this was my first one
PCC Bombshock - interesting gimmick, this could turn out cool.
HFTD Seapsray - Not lovin' him, but I got him half off so biggrin Starscream -OHLAWDOHLAWDOHLAWD. Easily MP quality for Movie Screamer. A fantastic figure.

Just slather is lightly in the ball, pop in the arm, and make sure it doesn't set by moving the arm around. It ALWAYS works for me!

Finally . . . . got a Mindwipe today. he is interesting, and I am pleased to have discerned his entire transformation scheme from the glamor shot on the back and looking at the alt mode in box. Now, to try out his gestalt with Skystalker, and then with Lockdown, and finally the triple combination of "Primushelpme."

Obtained my first set of PCCs . . . and this constructicon team makes me happy. My first reaction is "Minicons have evolved beyond the need for individuality or a bot mode. They finally accept that their role is to aid their larger cousins."
EDIT 8/14/2010: Picked myself up a Brimstone yesterday. Nice little scout, and I love how they took the motorcycle's front wheel and made it into two spinning blades for his hands. Still, the neck of the bike suffers a bit from the arm posability, but overall this is a nice little toy.

Took the time to indulge myself and bought ROTF Mindwipe, Soundwave, Bumblebee, and Sideswipe. (Don't look at me like that, I didn't buy them all in one day!) Bumblebee converts nicely, though I had some trouble getting the roof to come together (I attribute this more towards my inexperience than the toy itself). I haven't attempted to convert Mindwipe and Sideswipe yet. Right now they're easy to pack away in vehicle form, and I move back to college in a days. I might attempt to change them once safely moved back into my dorm...
