He looks down at his legs on the bed. "I'v been trying to get out of it but its just so hard.... You can try and not do what he says but it just compels your to do it." He looks at her, "...If you want to turn me in now I would understand..." He gets a sinking as he waits for her reply.

Dupre looks at her and then looks around the room. He embraces the source and channels air into the vase and lifts the water out of the vase and molds it with air into a lady slipper (its an endangered flower) and ties the weave off and uses another weave of air to move it through the air to Alina.

Kali fidgeted, uncomfortable that she'd not realized a few things or not brought them up. And feeling guilty for having Wes display such obvious emotions.

"I'm sorry" Her words were soft as she looked down at her feet, attempting to not seem to ashamed. "Its more like I feel like I'm not being useful to you. You do all the work and I feel guilty for having you do everything" She said softly, moving closer and looking up to reach out with two of her fingers, gently pressing them agianst his cheek. An old habit that died hard, and she still did it while they were in private.

Wes felt the guilt and uncomfort coming from Kali and frowned as she spoke. At her words he had a reply, but almost lost it as she touched his face. Sparks seemed to leap from her fingers, as they always did. She was the only one to ever make him feel like that, and it never dulled. He lightly took that hand in both of his and whispered into her ear: "I am the one that is supposed to be useful. I am the Warder, you the Aes Sedai. You have the more important things to do as far as everyone else is concerned, and you need to be able to do that. Thus, I simply take on one job, the most important to me: To keep you happy and safe. If I ever fail to do my job I will ask you to release me so I can end my existence without harm to you."

The Ashaman continued to rant and Shanoa took a step back in fear of what he might do in his rage. The look in his eyes, though full of anger and determination, also showed concern. Steeling herself to withstand his anger Shanoa spoke.

I can see that you are concerned, as am I. But if we're going to help her we need to cooperate. She asked to be taken to her quarters, but the situation has obviously gotten worse. You are correct that we must take her to the Amyrlin, but we must also do so in a manner that respects her wish that others not know of her condition.

Turning her back on the Ashaman Shanoa weaves a gateway to the outer room of the Amyrlin's Study just large enough for them to step through and turns to face him once more.

If we stand here arguing much longer it will draw unwanted attention. Now, please, follow me.

Saying that Shanoa steps through the gateway and turns to see if the Ashaman follows her.

((Actually Az is correct, I said that we were in front of the Keeper's Study, not quarters. I have no idea about Hawk's post, I, too, was curious. I didn't know anything about guards there, and I also was under the impression that that was where we were.))

Suddenly finding the amusement that the Aes Sedai ignored what he had said and continued to bull her way into a leading position, Mog shook his head and was turning to follow her when..

Azalea Verde
(( Ya, a little, but that still doesn't explain Hawk's post. ))

: Finding she could move as well, Azalea started to walk towards the gateway. She stopped, though, beside the man, and placed a hand on his shoulder. She leaned in and whispered into his ear, if you hadn't noticed, most everyone here is an Aes Sedai." She leaned back and gave him a mischiveous smile before stepping closer to the gateway. She paused once again, though, "Oh yes, and the woman you are holding. She is the Keeper." With that, Azalea stepped through into the outer room of the Amrylin's Study, namely, the Keeper's office. :

Grinning his own mischievous smile, himself, Mog said,

"Really, I hadn't noticed...."

When he heard the last statement about the fact that he was holding the Keeper, herself, he nearly dropped her in surprise. This was the Keeper?! He had thought that she had asked to be taken to the Keeper. Shrugging, he continued to the Gateway. With the quip hanging in the air, he sketched as deep a bow as holding the Keeper's still shaking form would, to the other Sister, awaiting Mog, still holding his impish grin to show he meant no disrespect. He walked through the Gateway and heard a comotion outside the door. This was no Aes Sedai, he could feel that whoever it was was strong in the Power, lifting the Keeper with Air, he placed her in the second Aes Sedai's care.

"Get her to safety. This I can handle alone. Go. NOW!"

His last was spoken with the voice of the T'sorovar'm'hael, it brooked no argument. This was what he had trained for and had faced hundreds of times before. Filling himself with saidin to the brim, drawing everything he could muster and every last iota from the small an'greal the Lord Dragon had gifted him with long ago, he prepared many nasty surprises to be unleashed the moment that whoever was on the other side decided to show that he was no friend. After his last brush with nearly harming a Sister, he couldn't bring himself to make another possible mistake, he didn't set them to trigger on a male Channeler, only to be released at his command. Drawing Ice and his heron-marked blade, he awaited the threat from the other side, he could hear the argument heating up, they would be through momentarily...

Kali pulled her bottom lip through her teeth as her face flushed once more, and she felt the emotions from the bond and the ones expression through his words. She still felt slightly guilty for just sitting and reading all the time. She really didn't do nothing, just putting more strain on Wes. Did she ever really keep him safe? No...not really. A small sigh escaped her lips and she wraped her fingers around his and gave them a squeeze before leaning into him and giving him a tight hug. She understood, even though she still held a seed of guilt. She couldn't help it, it was the way she was. And it wasn't too often she had a chance to think about these sorts of things. At the Tower she was mostly kept busy, for her own sake, with paper work and things that just needed to be done.

((Hmmm...gotta start somewhere. Hopefully someone will rp with me, yes?))

Nariah hiked along through the woods, tossing her black curly hair from her golden eyes. She was walking in a hurry, wanting to get as far away from that town as she could. She didn't know why the window had blown up. They blamed her for it, though. All she knew was she had been mad. They wouldn't let her bring her friend inside. Then the window she was next to just shattered. Very disturbing. She grinned, feeling a familiar mind brush her own. She looked down at the wolf that trotted beside her. He was a deep chocolate brown and his golden eyes matched her own. People should learn to trust wolves more, she thought, shaking her head.

Wes felt the emotions rumbling through Kali's mind, even as she hugged him. He embraced her back, giving her a light kiss on the cheek. They never really got too intimate except on an emotional level, so he would do no more.

He was thoroughly enjoying the moment when his ears picked up a noise, not a normal one expected out here. It sounded like someone tramping in the woods nearby, coming their way. This someone did not sound heavy, but they did not sound alone either. Wes turned the hug into a whirl ending up with Kali now near the tree with Wes's left arm around her waist, his right gripping the sword that had been ousted in the turn. He also held
Saidin, scanning the area the stranger(s) would emerge from.

Nine forced a smile at the Aes Sedai in hopes to alleviate some of her imminent worries about him.~

Sensing some trouble with Nine, Katerine glanced up and found him looking rather distressed. She also noticed his attempts to cover it up, so she said nothing. She ate her food slowly, not wanting to disturb her head any more than it already was. When she was done, Katerine saw the smile on Nine's face and smiled back.

"Are you alright? You seem troubled by something. If you are worried about meeting the Keeper, you have nothing to worry about. She is nice and will figure out some way to let you stay and learn."

Nariah soon froze, catching a new smell in the air. People, lovely. She halted, thinking. Should she just walk out into the open? Or just go around. She looked down at the wolf beside her. What do you think, Fury? she asked him. I say we avoid these two-leggers. he told her. Nariah nodded. Ok, she would try and go around them, then. Besides, she didn't want any trouble. She carefully began making her way slowly around the two, being as silent and stealthy as possible, using all of her hunter's skill that she had gained during her stay with the wolves.

The day still had a number of good hours for travel on it as Gerrard was making his way along a small path he had found in the woods which had been worn down so anyone could follow. It was a good day, one that Gerrard wishes he could have spent doing something else. Gerrard starts humming as he makes his way down the path. He is dressed for travel with a pack across his back that contained all he would need if he needed to stop anywhere

Nine was just opening his mouth to thank Katerine for her help when a familiar voice came to his ears. It sung, feminine and gleeful.

"Merry? MERRY! By the Creator, it's you!"

Nine's eyes went wide as he took in the sight of a slender woman, not more than five years older than he, who had the ageless beauty of an Aes Sedai. Her long, curling mass of red hair bounced as she half ran to throw a hug around his neck. As she pushed her soft cheek against his own, he noticed all of her; his eyes widened.

"Mina? Light, Mina!"

He hugged back and took her in as she stepped back. The last time he had seen Mina had been in Halfsmead, during Spring Festival. The celebration had also served as a going-away party for Mina before she left for Tar Valon. He was sad to see her go. Trying to stop a woman from doing what she wanted, especially when it involved Aes Sedai, was like trying to fend off an angry wolf with a twig. A very small twig.

"So you do remember? Ah, it's good to see you...oh, and I see you've grown...well. I received notice of your journey here just after achieving my Sisterhood."

She was fingering a color-brimmed shawl, he saw, that was lined with yellow fabric. His eyes. Immediately he lowered his gaze and shadowed his eyes. What would she think if she saw?

"Why do you avert your gaze? Are you well? Merry, look at me. You have to-"

Her words fell silent on her lips as she took his head in to her hands and peered into his eyes.

"Yellow...they were blue when you left..." Her eyes widened and she smiled wide. "I heard about this! You aren't...Wolfbrother?"

His eyes widened as well, looking into hers. They were once hazel. Sister The thought flashed and was gone as quickly as it had come.

"Wolf...sister?"

Wider.

"Yes! Isn't it great?! I think it runs in the village; you know, we're not close family, but we're kin. The village always had its stories about having lines back quite a few generations to one family who had settled and then another. They supposedly married off their only children and then so few more outsiders came that the blood in our veins is nearly identical." She paused in her frantic speech and then continued. "I heard from my mother that we have Wolfkin in our blood, but few of us ever really become a Brother or Sister."

Suddenly she straightened and she curtsied formally.

"Pardon, Aes Sedai. I did not see you in my excitement. I am Mina Sedai, of the Yellow. I am but newly raised."

Kali felt Wes tense and went easily to where he put her, resting on the balls of her feet while patiently waiting for whatever startled him to come out or make noise. She'd enjoyed the breif hug, not needing much else from Wes but an occasional touch when they were alone. For some reason she was agianst public displays of affection but occasionally touched him when they weren't so public. Like a few moments ago.

She trusted that he knew what he was doing, and that something was out there.
