I so wanna play piccolo trumpet so awesome but anyways.I have my own trumpet and a school trumpet.Both Bach...Stratevarious(mine)and I dunno what my school one is.Hehe.

I'm gettting a trumpet for Christmas and before my dad takes me out to "test drive" trumpets, what exactly should I be testing for and how?
Obviously I'll be testing for ease of notes in all registers and stuff but what else whould I be testing for?

My band teacher asked me and the other first trumpets if we were playing our concert with our trumpets (we both only have one XD). He either thought they were crap (mine is XD) or to tell us to use our ones for the concert IF we had one (again we both only have 1)
But I might be getting a silver trumpet, a bach but I'm not sure which to get........

Ehehe... I only read the first page.. so.. I have ONE Trumpet! Yay! Well.. Wait actually I have two but only one I use. (The other one I've had for like.. 10 years hah.) I have two Blessings .. Model..something or other.. The one I use now was passed down to me by my father who played with the Glenn Miller Orchestra (of which the lead singer I am partially named after ^^; ) It's really old but I've been told it's one of the nicest trumpet models out there in their opinion. It has a really nice sound.
AND OH MY FREAKING GAWD that is the most beatimous laquer job EVER. ;_;

I have one trumpet, my pride and joy, my baby lol Yamaha Xeno Tri-Color Brass smile and two mouth pieces, my 9c4 and a Bobby Shew Jazz mouthpiece....love my baby lol I paid for it myself and absolutely noone touches it but me and I pamper it like a darn child! stare

Get a Bach Stratevarios. Those are awsome trumpets. Maybe even a Yamaha Xeno as well, those are better. Personally I would prefer the Yamaha, just because my pride and joy is a Yamaha Allegro.
