▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ With Vincent releasing blasts from his grimoire and Mirai using Texas to fire off a blast of flames, Kain would have to think quickly in order to properly handle those two. First and foremost was Mirai, as she was the closest, meaning the flames were going to hit him first. So, Kain used his psychokinesis to form a powerful barrier around his demonic-looking arm, reinforcing it. With that, Kain was able to use his this arm to not only stop the flames but redirect it them upwards into the sky. Immediately following that, Kain would focus on the blasts that were now coming his way. For them, he didn't see the need to erect a barrier around his arm, so he released it and one by one, slashed the energy blasts, essentially breaking them down into nothing. As soon as he did that, Kain jumped backwards and out of the way of the way, as Mirai attacked Vincent. Hearing Mirai, Vincent smiled, "Well, big sister, my grimoire isn't your typical one and I am not the typical sorcerer." Vincent said as he used his telekinesis to create a barrier around his grimoire and caused it to levitate, freeing his hands. Clapping them together and then moving his hands around, in the air, making strange gestures, Vincent would create hundreds of thorn-like objects out of thin air, using them to create a shield around him, thus protecting him from the fire. Unlike regular thorns/plants, Vincent's isn't as susceptible to fire and flames as most, which is why it was able to withstand the flames. "Besides, my grimoire, isn't the only ability I have." Vincent continued before making more gestures and creating even more thorns from underneath Mirai, aiming to impale or trap her. While his siblings were dueling, Kain would be seen appearing next to Charlotte and Victoria, clearly not taking this fight as serious as them. "Victoria, this is your family. We may fight and we may argue from time to time, but deep down, we truly love and respect one another. That is why we will always be there for each other." Kain stated as he looked over at Victoria. "So, tell me. Who do you think is stronger?"

DMA Head    ✗┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓✗ Mirai watched as multiple thorn appendages appeared and protected Vincent before he sent his attack at her. Mira felt movement under her feet and she launched herself up in the air before the thorns could strike her. At the same time, she slipped a switch on Texas and the flames that came out of the flamethrower suddenly began swirling around Mirai, acting as a barrier against the thorns. She landed away from the attack, the flames around her began increasing in heat. She aimed Texas and fired off a rather large fireball followed by a telekinetic pulse. This combo attack caused the fireball to speed toward Vincent at a rather fast speed. Even if it missed him, the fireball would explode when it would make contact with the ground or anything else. Victoria continued watching the fight, even as Kain appeared next to them and began speaking to her. When asked who was stronger, Victoria paused for a few moments. "All of you are in your own way," she replied with a serious expression while watching Mirai and Vincent fight. She finally looked up at Kain "You each have good things and bad things. It would be great if my big brothers and sister fought together. Then you would be hard to beat."✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ Vincent frowned as Mirai unleashed a combination fire blast with a telekinetic blast of her own. The telekinetic blast served to not only increase the speed of the fire, but also served as a second attack of sorts, as it would empower the fire even more, making it even stronger. At this point, Vincent knew that his thorns wouldn't be of much use to him, especially with the powered up fire that was coming his way. So, he would have to use a powerful spell that he created. Holding out his hand, Vincent's grimoire began to glow an ominous black and white color, as everyone there would have an odd sensation come over them, well everyone except for Texas and Victoria, the human ones. It would feel like their madness was being siphoned from them, or rather purified. Obviously, those who knew of Despair, would recognize this instantly. "Veil of Shadows" Vincent shouted as black and white energy flowed from the grimoire and wrapped Vincent a cloth like barrier. As the fireball hit Vincent, the veil would absorb the blast, causing it to stop it. "Light of Damnation!" Suddenly the fireball would begin to condense, until it is formed into a small orb of pure light energy. Essentially, Vincent had used his magic to stop the fireball, almost freezing it in place and converted it into pure light energy and then condensed it into a small orb. With the small orb floating there, Vincent would fire it back towards Mirai and just as it got within range, the orb expanded into the size of a miniature moon. As the two continued to battle, Kain remained on the sidelines, listening to Victoria, as he could feel the madness within him, begin to fade, though it wasn't enough to weaken or hinder him. "Well, I had expected you to say that I was stronger, but I guess that is a reasonable response as well." he would tell Victoria before placing his hand on her head and smiling. "One thing you should know about us, is that we recognize our power as a family, but each of us has our own reason for not coming together and fighting as one. For me, it wouldn't be as enjoyable or fun. For Vincent, it is a matter of pride and honor. As for Mirai, I couldn't even begin to understand her reasoning." he teased before stepping up and making his way back to the battle. "Now then, as the oldest, I feel the need to show off for my cute little sister. I want her to see just how cool of a big brother she has." Kain had been stretching his arms and raising his soul wavelength as he talked, "So how 'bout it? Do you wanna see what your brother can do?" he asked.

DMA Head ✗┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓✗ Mirai frowned as Vincent seemed to have Despair's abilities now. She watched as he took her attack and turned it against her. Her wavelength rose then as the attack came at her. She flipped the notch on Texas' weapon form once more. "Soul Resonance! Blast Shield!"Suddenly fire came shooting out of the flamethrower and began spreading around Mirai, creating a wall of flames. Due to her and Texas resonating, the fire's heat increased drastically, melting the ground around them. Eventually a rather large wall of fire stood between Mirai and the orb of light. Once Vincent's attack collided with the wall of flames, a shockwave occurred. The barrier spell around Charlotte's house shuttered slightly but didn't give. Slowly both Mirai's defensive and Vincent's offensive abilities began to cancel each other out, creating a rather large explosion as both gave. This sent Mirai flying backwards, skidding to a halt eventually as a large crater ended up where the Blast Shield and Vincent's attack used to be. Mirai let out a breath as Texas turned into his sword form then, flames appearing and acting as a blade as she got into a fighting stance and waited for another attack. Victoria giggled up at Kain "Big brother is pretty strong," she added. She stood next to her mom now, no longer peaking out from behind her. She watched as Kain began walking back to the battle. As he asked if she wanted to see him fight, Victoria grinned "Yeah!" she exclaimed excitedly. It was fun watching her siblings spar and show off their strengths. ✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗

Flipping right side up, the young man would land on the ground, planted his feet, stopping his momentum. Looking over at Mirai as she prepared herself for another attack, Vincent continued to smile. "I should have known that, that level of a spell wouldn't be enough to harm you." Vincent stated before standing up, "Guess that means I'll have to use Noi-" Before Vincent could even finish his statement, a red demonic-looking hand would appear on the boy's head, as he would be sent slamming hard into the ground. The sheer impact of the attack, was more than enough to cause a massive crater to form. "Ah! I may have went a little overboard there." Kain stated as he would lift Vincent up by his head and toss the boy up into the air. "Yeah, just a little." Vincent replied as he recovered in the air and used his magic to stay afloat. However, Vincent's face would be scratched up and blood could be seen dripping from a cut that had formed above his left eyebrow. Wiping the blood away, Vincent looked down at Kain. His brother, was no longer a demon, nor was he human, he was something else, something stronger. The fact that he couldn't even read Kain's movement or sense his presence until it was too late, was more than enough proof of Kain's new strength. "Between a demon-witch hybrid and whatever the hell you are, I think I may have bit off more than I can chew." Vincent admitted to the two of them before smiling. "But I won't lose to you two." With that, Vincent would clap his hands together and release a barrage of energy blasts at the two of them. If he was going to stand any shot, he knew that he couldn't afford to hold back any longer. Seeing this, Kain would smile and prepare himself as the torrent of blasts came raining down on him and Mirai. Using his speed, Kain was able to accurately maneuver his way around the hundred blasts, without so much as a scratch. As the last one fell, Kain vanished, "You've really grown stronger, I'm happy to see that you've finally become someone strong enough to stand on his own." Kain stated as he appeared behind a now shocked Vincent, aiming a dazzling silver pistol at the boy's torso. "Now, your next goal is to surpass me." he added before firing a condensed blast of his soul wavelength. Of course, Vincent would manage to survive the blast by erecting a telekinetic barrier around himself, though the force was more than enough cause him to crash down on the ground, in front of Victoria and Charlotte. Afterwards, Kain focused on Mirai, knowing that she would easily handle Vincent's rain of energy blasts. "How about you? Have you grown any stronger?" he asked, preparing himself for Mirai's onslaught. Meanwhile, Vincent would take this chance and decided to rest up, before joining the battle once more.

DMA Head ✗┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓✗ Mirai watched as Kain slammed Vincent hard into the ground. She made a face then "I feel like we are trying to kill each other..." she muttered with a small weak laugh before focusing on the energy blasts Vincent ended up launching. Mirai ended up creating a telekinetic barrier to block the blasts. She grimaced at their impact and reinforced the barrier with some fire. Once the last one hit, the barrier went down and Mirai noticed that Kain was already on top of Vincent. She kept her eyes on Kain as he ended up firing a wavelength blast at Vincent who was sent flying towards the house. Kain was definitely much stronger than he was back when he was Atticus. So was she. Mirai smirked up at her brother and her eyes glowed. Time stopped once more for everyone but Mirai and Texas. At this point she had a feeling Kain would overpower her if she gave him the chance. It was best to go all out now. The flames on the sword she was holding flared up and she sent a large wave of fire at Kain. Though of course, as soon as the attack was released, it froze in time as well. She activated her soul mold ability and multiple large orbs of energy appeared all around Kain. Mirai quickly moved around the battlefield and prepared several other fire and wavelength attacks before eventually moving back to her original spot. Her eyes glowed again and time suddenly resumed. Kain would find himself surrounded by a heavy barrage of flame blasts as well as wavelength orbs that suddenly began flying towards him all at once. Mirai let out a breath then. Her time manipulation ability had improved though keeping it active for a certain period as well as releasing multiple strong attacks definitely took a bit out of her. ✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ As he prepared himself for Mirai, Kain would be unable to fend off her time-based ability, as used it to initiate quite the devastating series of attacks. Once time began flowing once more, Kain found himself surrounded on all sides, by fire and orbs. Yet again, Mirai had managed to pull off another amazing feat, before his eyes and Kain was completely taken off guard at the situation he was placed in. He had little time to counter or defend against the attacks that were now coming at him, but Kain didn't even try to move. Instead, the man would stay put and place his arms up around him in an X-formation, "Phoenix Soul" Kain shouted just as all of the flames and orbs collided into him, resulting in an massive explosion of fire and smoke. Within that hellish inferno, one could see an eerie red energy shining and within that energy, a figure took form. Seconds later, after the explosion had cleared out, the figure became clearer. Kain's wavelength could be sensed coming from the creature, but his appearance had changed. His body had become bulkier and his hands and feet resembled those of an lion's with sharp claws. Appearing over his now steel-like skin and flesh, are various armor-like pieces, each one colored in some way with red, gold and white. The sheet power emanating from Kain, was something vastly different then before. What stood before Mirai, was a creature that was the closest to becoming a kishin, one that could potentially rival a shiniagmi, a shinku. Kain was forced to transform into his true form in order to withstand her attacks. Mirai had actually managed to put her brother into a corner. Landing on the ground, Kain looked over at Mirai, "You never fail to impress me, Mirai. It seems that no matter how powerful I get, you always seem to find a way to catch up and surpass me." Kain told her, sounding proud, "But I've begun to figure out that little trick of yours." he added before holding up his hand at Mirai and firing off a quick, yet powerful beam of energy at her. He would do this again and again, until there were hundreds of energy beams coming at the girl. With everything he had just seen, Vincent, was beginning to regret challenging his siblings. Sure he had gotten way stronger, but clearly the other two had long left him behind. Seeing what his older siblings could do, Vincent was beginning to think that he could never catch up to them. "They're amazing, aren't they, Little Red." It seems that Vincent had already given Victoria a nickname, Little Red.

DMA Head ✗┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓✗ Mirai kept a serious expression on her face as Kain revealed his true form, not saying anything as she stared at him. She got into a stance as Kain launched the first energy beam at her. A telekinetic barrier went up but as soon as the energy beam hit it, the barrier shattered. Luckily the beam was cancelled out but as soon as Mirai saw the other hundred plus beams, she swore under her breath. A combination of a Blast Shield as well as a telekinetic barrier went up seconds before it was pelted with the energy beams. She grimaced, several beads of sweat appearing on her face as she tried holding up the thing that stood between her and an attack that would cause major damage. It took about half the hits before the barrier gave. Mirai quickly began dodging though her balance was lost as the beams would slam into the ground and create explosions. She was tossed around like a rag doll before she managed to slam her feet into the ground and skid to a halt. Her wavelength skyrocketed for a split second and one more barrier went up, taking the rest of the hits before it dispersed. Mirai stood there, breathing heavily with multiple burns and scratches all over her body. Her outfit had tears in it as well which honestly upset her a bit more than her injuries. "I liked this jacket..." she muttered in between breaths. She teleported then and appeared behind Kain, her sword raised. She swung downwards, the flames radiated with a rather intense heat. Mirai was already a bit low on energy. It was becoming obvious who the victor was in this. Still she wasn't going to quit. As long as she was still standing, she would fight. Victoria stared in amazement at the battle, especially at Kain. She heard Vincent then and looked at him. She paused for a moment before looking at the other two. "Uh-huh!" she agreed. ✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ Kain watched as Mirai erected a barrier to protect herself from his beams, however the barrier would break and Mirai ended up taking some damage from the beams, before creating a second one to handle the rest. Once it ended, Mirai would transport herself behind him and swung her sword down at him. Judging by her heavy breathing and her overall appearance, Kain knew that Mirai was nearing her limit, but being a child of Divine, she wouldn't go down, not as long as she had some fight left in her. However, Kain was prepared to take her down, as Mirai would notice underneath Kain's left arm, would be his gun, point at her. Kain had intended to use the same blast he did on Vincent, in order to take Mirai down as well, but thankfully, he would be unable to do so, as thorns would pop up under Kain and bind him, allowing for Mirai's sword strike to hit and inflict damage on the armored Kain. Of course, the source of the thorns would be Vincent, as he is seen kneeling by Victoria. "It was clear from the get go, that you haven't taken the both of us seriously, brother." Vincent called out, as Kain emerged from the flaming inferno scarred and burned. "It isn't that I haven't taken you two seriously. It's just that I have yet to fully control this new power. I wouldn't want to harm you two because of that." Kain responded before breaking free of the thorns and jumping back. "Well, that's all good for you, but you do realize how condescending that sounds, right?" Vincent replied before standing up and walking over towards Mirai. "Mirai, we've been going at this all wrong. While it is true that this is a free for all, it is also true that the both of us, have always been overshadowed and looked down on, but Kain. So, how about we do something different and work together, just this once." Vincent stated as he held out his fist at Mirai, "Lets show him our full power." Should Mirai bump his fist, the two, along with Texas, would be able to initiate a unique soul resonance that would double their current power, but it would only be good for one combination attack.

DMA Head ✗┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓✗ Mirai managed to see the gun at the last second but it was too late to dodge. She had already committed. She braced for the hit but it never came. She hit Kain with her weapon before landing on the ground. Only then did she notice the thorns that were binding her older brother. She made a face as Vincent called out Kain on not taking them seriously. "That makes the fight boring when you do that..." she replied, obviously annoyed that her brother wasn't going as far as her and Vincent were. Mirai's gaze shifted to Vincent as he walked over next to her and suggested they team up. As he raised his fist at her, Mirai smiled slightly. She raised her fist up and bumped it with her brother's. Right away a chain resonance activated between Mirai and Texas and Vincent. Mirai's soul appeared around her then, flames enveloping several areas of it. Her eyes glowed slightly as an orb of light appeared, fire began swirling around it and compressing causing the orb to grow in size. Eventually, it suddenly rocketed towards Kain. As it sped towards him, the orb condensed even more and shined like a star. If it would hit Kain, it would cause a massive explosion, unleashing all of the heat and energy it had collected. With that combined with Vincent's attack, their assault would most definitely cause major damage towards their brother. At least Mirai hoped so. Through it all, Charlotte watched silently. She observed each one of them before smiling as Mirai and Vincent teamed up, showing a rather powerful outcome. "I hope one day your father will see how strong all of you have gotten..." she said to herself. Her gaze eventually shifted to Victoria who watched with wide eyes full of amazement. ✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗

It was a darker indigo color and had the mark of the blackwings located on it, as well as several ancient runes. As Mirai launched her attack, Vincent would launch one of his own. Raising his thumb up to his mouth, Vincent bit down on it, causing it to bleed. "Blood Magic: Sacred Arrow" Vincent then drew the blood from his own body and molded it into a massive arrow of hardened blood. The arrow was then fired and combined with Mirai's orb, creating a mixture of Vincent's blood and her light and flame attack. So, not only was the attack incredibly powerful, it was now even faster and became harder to defend against. "Don't underestimate us because we're younger." Vincent stated as he fell to the ground, whenever he used his blood magic in a offensive way, he would suffer the consequences. His entire body was in pain and with the sudden loss of blood, he was severely drained. Seeing this monstrosity of an attack coming his way, Kain was admittedly shaken. Alone, they were a force in themselves, but together, they were something else. This attack could cause some major damage, if not, kill the man, if he didn't find someway to handle it. Thinking quickly Kain took both pistols and fired off hundreds of shots, one after another, trying to slow the momentum of the attack and in someway, redirect the trajectory of the arrow. However, he noticed that it did very little to stop the attack. "Damn it!" Kain shouted as he braced himself and began to build up his spiritual energy. "You two were right!" Kain told his siblings. "I was looking down on you, but no more. Now's the time for me to show you the limits of my powers." Suddenly, a red and white aura would appear around Kain and take the form of a massive knight-like figure. The aura construct would wrap it's arm around Kain and protect him from the arrow, or so it seemed. The moment the arrow struck, it would pierce right through the creature and manage to stab Kain in his shoulder, but that wasn't the worst part. No, what came next, was really damaging. Mirai's orb which had combined with Vincent's arrow, would explode, causing a massive explosion of energy and fire, engulfing Kain. As the explosion ended, Kain could be seen standing there, his body had been reverted back to it's human form and was now covered in severe third the degree burns, the arrow was seen still in his shoulder, as Kain collapsed forwards onto the ground. "M-Mirai, I think we may have went overboard." Vincent stated as he was struggling to get to his feet.

DMA Head ✗┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓✗ Mirai wobbled slightly from the amount of energy that attack took but remained standing. She watched closely as both their attacks hit Kain. While Vincent was on the ground, Mirai placed her hand on his shoulder and he would immediately feel some energy radiating through him. Mirai was a lot more aware of how much energy she should use, especially since it the past that had been her downfall. She was still the healer of whatever group she was in so she always needed to have some energy stored for that. Once the attack cleared, Mirai saw Kain on the ground. She muttered a quick swear under her breath as what Vincent said had been true. They may have overdone it. She quickly went over to Kain and came to a halt near him "Are you alright, big brother?" she asked. ✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗

This allowed for him to move more, though some parts of his body were still in pain. Following Mirai, Vincent looked down at the charred body of their brother. "Kain? You still with us?" he asked, sounding a little unsure. However, as both Mirai and Vincent had let their guards down, they would sense an intense killing aura emanating from Kain's body. Seconds later the wounds he sustained, began healing, releasing steam off as the burns and scars faded and the stab wound from the arrow closed. Suddenly, Kain would rise up, his eyes glowing a deep, blood red, color as he reached out at Mirai, almost as if he had was going to attack her, but instead, he would place his hand on her head and smile, "Don't worry, I'm fine." Seeing this, at first, Vincent was taken back by the glimpse he got at Kain's darker side, but soon he was left wondering, "How are you fine? We hit you with a really nasty attack." Vincent shouted, clearly Kain had some sort of ability he used to help him out. Hearing Vincent, Kain smiled, "I call it Hunger Overhaul. It allows me to consume the energy and something physical attacks of others, break it down into pure nutrients and energy and use it to accelerate my bodies cells, calling for fast regeneration and replenishment of my stamina. So, seconds after I was hit by your attacks, I used this ability to consume portions of Mirai's flames and a small fragment of your blood arrow, in order to heal the wounds that I was going to sustain." What Kain didn't tell them was that all of the wounds he had sustained weren't gone, it would take a little more, time for them to rightfully heal. "Well, that's just not fair." Vincent stated before smiling. "Also, it wasn't just the fact that I wasn't taking you both seriously. There is something else to it." Reaching up, Kain placed his hand on his chest and seconds later his soul would appear, but it would be clear to everyone there, that there was some sort of magical seal/lock on it, keeping it sealed off. "Because of this unknown power, I have it so that I am forever limited to using more than 50% of my true power. Until I know for sure that I can keep this in check, I will always be at half strength. As of now, the only ones that can remove this limiter placed on my soul, are: Vincent, Mirai, Charlotte.....and her." Kain then removed his hand and looked at his siblings. "So if it seems like I was holding back or hiding something from you two, this limiter is the reason why." he added before stretching, "Well, either way, the battle turned out pretty good."

DMA Head ✗┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓✗ Mirai flinched at the sudden dangerous aura that emitted from Kain. She watched as he got up and raised his hand at her. Mirai froze and squeezed her eyes shut before feeling Kain's hand on her head. As Kain explained everything and also why he couldn't go past using a certain amount of power, Mirai listened quietly. "I don't really want to know what your true power is if that bit earlier wasn't you going all out," she said with a small nervous laugh. Even combined, Mirai and Vincent didn't seem to rival Kain. He still had a lot more power to show. Mirai felt something grab her leg and she jumped slightly. Victoria was hugging her leg and glanced up at her three siblings with a grin on her face. Charlotte walked up to them as well "Good work," she complimented with a smile. ✗┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ ✗

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ Vincent wasn't really okay with Kain's explanation. If his powers were sealed and yet, he still managed to hold his own against both him and Mirai, then just how strong is there brother? Vincent wanted to see what Kain could truly do and would have liked to fought him without that limiter, but that was in the past. The battle had been decided and was over with, for now. As Victoria came over and Charlotte would compliment them, Vincent couldn't help but to smile. "Well, I could have used my spells more wisely and produced an powerful attack, but you know. I didn't want to embarrass the other two." Vincent stated, trying to look cool in front of Victoria. Hearing him, Kain let out a small laugh, "Vin, next time, be sure to show us that attack of yours." he commented before sighing. It had felt like centuries since he had last seen his family. He truly loved being there and being with them, even if it was only for such a short amount of time.
