Not really, though like I said, Gungrave is made by the same guy who made Trigun. The game came first before the anime did....though I didn't much like how the anime ended. I preferred the game's. ^.^ I've beaten the first one, though I have yet to beat Overdose.
I hate that robot tank! >.< My sister beat it, though she was unable to beat the first game.
As far as weapons go, Beyond the Grave (the black-haired dude with the guns) uses a coffin as a weapon. In the anime, Grave is voiced by the VA who did Jade. xd In the games, he's silent for the most part. In Overdose, he actually says one line. If you ever thought of getting the games, the first one is subbed, though Overdose is dubbed.
And Juji (the white-haired dude with the coat) uses gunblades....and he's voiced by none other than Cam Clarke. xd
.....On another note, if there's any point in the RP where peeps are gonna fight in the coliseum, I do have a cameo in mind to bring in. :3

Thanks. Please let me know if I do. I'm not sure about the scope of his abilities normally, but in Oblivion he apparently teleports the player into the air if attacked. I think he can also manipulate weather a bit. He created the Wabbajack, which has random effects on living targets, including transformation. I was thinking that he might appear in somewhere where Niflheim's influence is strong (miasma and stuff), possibly allowing him to manipulate stuff a bit, but not as much as if he were in his own realm of Oblivion (or Pelagius' mind). Perhaps he could put people through a crazy maze of insanity in exchange for "information" on Niflheim's plans or something. xd
Speaking of madness, I'm now tempted to submit Cthulhu in his Cthulhu Saves The World incarnation (where his powers were sealed, and the only way to regain them was to become a true hero)... But that can wait.

Sort of. Sheogorath would probably hand out some nonsensical "information" that makes absolutely no sense, but it might suddenly make some sense later on.
Or it could be completely false so that he could have some fun watching people try to figure it out and apply it to their situation.
As for Cthulhu, indeed, he's one of Lovecraft's Old Ones. However, he's reduced to JRPG-protagonist levels in Cthulhu Saves The World by a sorcerer's curse, forcing him to become a true hero if he ever wants his true power back. He uses a sword and everything, as well as some dark magic and, of course, tentacles. Of course, there's always the driving-monsters-temporarily-insane (lower defenses, sometimes higher offense as a tradeoff) with Insanity Slash and Dark Blast bit. I'd imagine that this wouldn't apply very much to major folks of Aselia, however. Anyway, just a whim I got while playing through Cthulhu Saves The World. It's a good game, if short.

Seriously, why did those have to be main, numbered games? I could have owned them all (I don't do subscription games, because I switch when I'm "finished")! Anyway, regardless, that'll take a while because TALES OF XILLIA YEEEEESSS. Releasing tomorrow, yes? I preordered on Amazon and, despite the fact that I chose the lengthy free super-saver shipping, am hesitant to launch any major gaming endeavor until it arrives... For now, I'll be stickin' to Guild Wars 2 and maybe even start Assassin's Creed (it's about half the length of a good-length JRPG, right?).

I'm not either most of the time, but some catch my eye if they're free or have good reputations and no subscription. What really bugs me is that the games will basically be lost forever when they stop supporting them, barring incomplete private servers. Indeed, it's now XV! Exciting. I'm glad it isn't stuck in spinoff heck like Kingdom Hearts was (though they were essential to the plot in that series).
