Impromptu growled at Ada, swinging back and forth on the stick until his feet reached her stomach. He kicked her whenever he came near, and to her it just felt like a light tap. "and your goal is...?" he growled, "> I'm going to beat you up so bad you'll have to let go! <"
She only chuckled, "keep dreamin' muttsy"

The two had continued ....on their path unrestricted by other pokemon so far as a familiar figure would roll into their path. Another Sunkern, as the pokemon twist to a stop ....and turns to face them. A female this time as she glares daggers at her opponent ...it would seem that there was a challenge in her eyes, but a challenge of what ...was left for them to figure out.

((Assuming that was the roll for the Weavile's attempt.))The female's strike would come up short as a pair of talons passed over her head. Apparently for a bird that managed to fly with feathers made of metal, the few extra pounds that made up the mass of Raven and the Sneasel made little difference. In moments they were airborne and well out of reach. A few moments further, and while Victoria had originally left Raven in the dust, she would now be eating his.
Crowe could only manage to fly so high with the pair, and a prolonged flight was out of the question, but the young trainer had made well his escape. It was rather doubtful the Weavile or their Pack would be able to catch up any time soon.
Of course, with that problem solved, Raven had another. What was he going to do with the young Sneasel?

The moment Riku entered the room, her beloved Larvitar would vanish from her side...though he wouldn't remain out of sight for longer.
As there had been in the previous room, this one contained a massive chasm which spanned the majority of it. Save the bottom of this one could be seen quite clearly...riddled with blood stained spikes, and a number of rather hungry looking Seviper.
Hanging upside down by a rope, Ryu would be found on the left side of the cavern. On the opposite side however, hung another familiar face. A Sandshrew, the same one she might very well owe her life, was suspended by his tail over the chasm.
Even from a distance it was quite evident that both ropes were about to snap. There would only be time to save one; but who would it be? Her trusted partner? Or the Sandshrew whom once saved her own life? Or, would she perhaps attempt the impossible?
That decision would be up to Riku...and she'd have to make it fast.

The Cranidos gave an unintelligible snarl, his left eye twitching as the orb began to glow bright red. It would seem this Pokemon of a most ancient time had fully lost himself to rage. He saw only prey...only foes. He would destroy all whom stood in his path. By garnering his attention, the Chikorita had only managed to sign her own death sentence...and gruesome it would be.
Giving absolutely no thought to it, the Cranidos lowered his head, spine locking into place, then charged. It was a headbutt plain and simple, but in his hands it could easily be devastating.

Impromptu's eyes seemed to light up at the sight of the Sunkern. "> SQUEEEEEEKY~~~ <" he squealed, Unwilling to let go of the stick though still staring at the Sunkern. Ada looked down at it, "it's female so..." this wasn't a hard one to figure out. Earlier the had killed a male Sunkern, now there was a female one...
She didn't like doing any dirty work, she'd rather not have things get any messier than they already have. The first one was not supposed to end up like that...but they were naturally frail creatures, and the girl chose to ignore the female as she kept going along.
[[ don't know if I'm supposed to roll, doing so just in case. ]] [[ I wanna avoid conflict = big excuse so I dont have to go back and get stats. So unconventional on an itouch >.< ]]

(17-7)+(14-8 ) = 16 DMG, Chikorita is a -4 HP
The Cranidos's brutal attack hadn't killed Bellona... but only just barely. The dinsoaur's massive power had smashed the Chikorita into a tree, knocking her stone cold. She would bruised and battered, but she would live... if they could get out of here. Vanni cursed herself inwardly; she should have remember how strong a Cranidos could be. But this was no time to berate herself; that could be done later. Pokeball still in hand, she recalled Bellona, and took off running . She swerved off the path she'd been following, going deeper into the trees. It might have been a stupid idea- it was a stupid idea- but she hoped the trees would impede the massive and rage-filled beast..

As soon as the girl entered the room, she was shocked. But she didn't have time to think, instead she had to act. Pulling the pokeball at her waist, she then recalled Ryuu to his pokeball as the flash of red light surrounded him and he was safe in his pokeball. Clipping his pokeball back to her belt, she was now in time to catch the Sandshrew before it fell when the rope would snap. She panted a little, having hobbled from the door to the right direction in order to catch the pokemon and save it from it's possible death.

((...you're actually rather lucky I forgot about the PokeBall...though you should have known better then to not roll.))
The girl would find herself lucky, reaching the Sandshrew just in time to save it...only to have the creature dissolve into sand the moment it touched her hands.
A single blink, and she'd find herself standing in the doorway of the room again, Ryu at her side. There was no chasm, no spokes, only a single empty room with another doorway on the opposite side. The Larvitar would likely look rather confused, given it's trainer had simply been standing there the last little while.

There would be only one true way to see if Vanni's escape attempt would succeed, but it would be risking great personal injury on her part. The Cranidos gave another unintelligible cry, locking his spine into place as he lowered his head. He'd give her a three second head start...just for sport. The very instant the girl was passed the first tree, the Cranidos charged.
If Vanni moved quickly, the Cranidos would likely smack into a tree; but if the child were too slow...a much less desirable outcome would occur. A human wasn't quite as resilient as a Pokemon after all!

One by air, and the other by land ...the two had managed to get away as the Sneasel and Weavile stood there with their claws empty. THey were pissed off as hell ....and of the two Victoria was probably the easiest to go after. Though they wouldn't even be able to recognize that fact ...as the smoke cleared to simply show her gone ...and the boy had flown away. Which was impossible for them to chase after even though the Skarmory wouldn't be about to stay in the air long.
Flying on it's own wasn't the same as flying with someone on board as the pokemon would find himself either having to land or doing a nose dive into the ground. Whichever came first ...
Victoria whom had started off running slowly came to a walk once she realized they weren't being followed. It probably wasn't worth much to the sneasel to chase her ...afterall their true target had gone airborne. She hadn't failed to notice that glint of metal in the sunlight ...as Aella seemed to be happy at his escape. Slipping from her grasp and moving to her head as she looks down at Victoria and actually wished she acted more like Raven.
Though the girl wouldn't be Raven, and Aella wouldn't be a skarmory either ...as the girl didn't miss the ease of his escape compared to hers.
Oh well, that was for another day.
The two continued towards the edge of the crater ...they were already at it's bottom as it simply continued towards an area where the ground seemed to actually come back to water. One's first thought might be that they had reached other side of the island, but upon further glance ....it would become more clear that this wasn't the case. There was pieces of land that looked like a pathway that extends into the this mast of water which, and surprisingly enough ....a secondary path that extended upwards into the sky.
A trait of weirdness that seemed to be this island, and that meant, that if she looked downwards ...there would be a third path ..that lead underwater.
A smirk came on her face. She had afterall one more pokeball and a need for one more member of her group.
She had covered air and electric types, Poison and ground were here allies, but she needed one more to complete her goal of having all the pokemon of her classes's types. She needed a water type as she looks out beyond and tried to figure out which way to go.
She still stood on the edge of the crater at that point.

Riku looked relieved that she had passed the second test. It was true that she wouldn't always going to have her pokeball to save her partner but also she would handle the other situations when it would happen. There wasn't really a point in worrying about something could happen or else someone's entire life would be spent in fear. The girl did turn to Ryuu and gave him a hug. It was time to reach the final test as she walked towards the door, opening it and going to whatever awaited her.

The trip through the air would start to go from smooth to bumpy as the wind would whip in Raven's face. The trainer on the skarmory's back would start to capture the air currents that would normally smoothly go over the bird's back ...and the pressure building started to become more than that which was underneath its wings. That meant that the Skarmory was about to learn what happens when a trainer tries to fly a bird before it's ready .....and that also meant that either Raven lands quickly or crashes.
The two would find themselves leaving crater as the area went smooth underneath them and then .....turned from earth to water with patches of ground underneath. This change in area ...was because they had entered the part of the Island known as the void ...a place where the sea had reclaimed the very heart of the island.
It is here that the three pokemon mention in the cavern run amok, and it is here that they would find a completely different sort of pokemon laying in wait. Though there is three paths that they can choose to follow, the one of sea and dive into the water. The one of land, inwhich they followed that path of rock that went towards the island's center or that of air inwhich they would climb up a rock path that seemed to continue upwards into the sky.
These are his options, but he had one immediate probablem to deal with first ...getting his Skarmory to land safely.
((Roll the dice ....a roll of 11 -20 will be an encounter with 1 being a big surprise))

Though the Sunkern wasn't as willing to let it go as she notices that they plan to simply walk past her. She would of course start to follow ..no she wasn't about to just let them go ....as she rolls since she didn't think hopping would be fast enough to keep up.((Nevermind, seems you out walk her))
