[!] ~”The winds of freedom blows for those can't hope for it”~[!]

Kira knew all to well, the pain of lost that Janus was feeling, even in Kira's past he lost friends, and family, only two remained within his Skyra family to begin with. The city grew ever closer, it was almost refreshing to see it, knowing the fighting might be on hold, but Kira still felt something was wrong, if the creature's true goal is the virtues why were they getting away if he was that mobile? it just did not make any sense.

Since his eye's changed his attitude did as well, thinking much more like a chess player, going over everything that went on, the 2 people that appeared, were they to distract? if so they completed that goal, if not, then they were used perfectly, but also cho's death allowed them to escape, did that mean the monster kills without purpose? that would not go unpunished.

Hearing Janus speak would bring Kira back to reality, turning his head the golden eye's would see the pain, it wasn't something he was gonna hide from Kira, no, in fact, a stronger, deeper persona and power had risen to the top with the lost of cho. Kira would answer back as he expected. "Life doesn't have a price tag, i will give him an extra slug to the face for cho for ya."

Lowering the board he would let Janus off, and hop off himself, knowing Roy was able to keep up rather easily. Standing there he would look at Roy, and nod his head forward inside. "Your guess is as good as mine about who that guy is." remembering they had a conversation from earlier. "Who ever it is, it's clear they have a goal for the virtues, that and they harness the power of chaos." Kira would look to his left hand as his sword was still in his right, the left formed a fist in and azure flame, and had flickers of red in it,, the sword followed suit. "My Dragon flames could not stop Chaos, it can stall it, but not prevent it from going forwards, Roy, is there a way to gain power to stop Chaos? if you don't know, then let's be on our way."

Walking toward's Oni's last known location, Kira would follow his nose, Oni's Scent was not hard to find to begin with, he was paired with him for awhile and wouldn't forget it.

OOC: all good xD it's for story purposes, in that case it's perfectly fine, it's in fights and non-story is when it's a nono.

As the tiger-being came back to assist the fallen human, the Scorpion shuffled around on her feet, angling her body to advance and cut him off from escape. She didn't care for the strange light that he threw her way, knowing it could do little to impede her advance. She watched the greenish hued object soar passed her - he missed his target and would now pay for his mistake once her tail was in range.

That is...until she heard it impact the ceiling of the cave and start to rain rocks down from the heavens! The cursed tiger-being...what did he take her for? Falling rocks could easily be avoided by a graceful queen such as herself. Unaware to the foolish feline, the Scorpion Queen had crept up behind him. The cat-man shouldered the humanoid-man and the queen cackled in glee as her tail shot forth to spear them both!
But suddenly they were gone?! He had used the winds to speed his escape, and now even she couldn't catch up to the stupid cat. It looked like her quarry would escape for now, but at least she could go find the fallen-one. He lay somewhere among the rubble where she had thrown his limp body. Hopefully the hairy-minions had the sense to leave him alone.

Before long she had the plump-one in her sights. He seemed to have avoided being crushed by the falling debris, but he would now suffer a worse fate! However, a blinding flash of light suddenly formed over the far side of the lake and a terrifying energy sent her scared-minions fleeing for their lives. It caused more rocks to collapse and fall...she would have to live to fight another day. And so with a gentle claw she clamped the sleeping-one's leg firmly and scuttled off down the nearest passageway towards her lair, dragging his still body along the ground...

"We need to get out of here before they all catch up to us...but then you must tell me what happened to Light. Perhaps the Virtue can help us free him?"

Before Raven and he could converse further, the cave was assailed by a terrifying spectacle. Chaotic energy ripped apart the fabric of time and space above them, and the ground became increasingly unstable. Luckily Wyndom was on his air platform still, but he could feel the forces of chaos eating away at it. Wyndom allowed the condensed air to disperse, but as he dropped to the ground he noticed Raven get knocked off her feet! He was too late to prevent anything as he clawed at the air, fingers falling a good foot short of her hands. He lunged forward, landing harshly on his stomach as his hands again sought for the contact of his fellow friend, but gravity was too quick - she was pulled away from her comrade into a treacherous descent down the side of the rock. Wyndom saw it in her eyes...she was caught completely unaware and was fighting more to regain her sense of direction as she tumbled more than anything.

The ground beneath him shuddered and shook, making it difficult to rise to his feet quickly, and by the time he dove off the cliff himself she had hit the water. Right now being air born was safer than remaining on the ground for Wyndom, and he harnessed his control over that element to slow himself down as he reached the blackened surface of the water, hovering over it yet again. It was hard to see in the dim cavern, but for a moment a crack of lightning illuminated the entire area, showing Wyndom where his fallen comrade was now hoisting herself onto the water's surface. He urged his platform towards her, but he knew she was fine...he had felt it too - Lucas.

He accompanied Raven to his side, bracing himself at her sudden outburst, but somehow it left him smiling...they were all finally reunited. Mimicking Raven, Wyndom took up his appointed side has Lucas's Vanguard, grasping his right arm and assisting Raven to help Lucas to his feet.

"It's good to have you back."

†Where there is charity and wisdom, there is neither fear nor ignorance.†

[Location: Underground lair]

☩ The ground shook, but Cynthia remained firm, planted in her spot. Her eyes took it all in as she slowly came to realize what had just happened. ☩

"How DARE you use me!"

☩ To put her faith in someone and fight back to back with them...only to be betrayed in the end, Cynthia couldn't understand people like that. She was the Guardian of the Virtue of Charity, and as such she had given Raven much in that last fight...it just showed how naive Cynthia still was. Sizouze kept telling her that, and this only drove the point home all the more. ☩

"I trusted you, only to find you in cohorts with a tainted, twisted, and chaotic scheme...Alexandria was right to apprehend you, and I shall do the same!"

☩ She spun on her heel, griping her Cross by the hilt and pulling it away from the straps on her back. It glowed with divine energy as she swung it at the cavern from which Raven and her had come - their only exit. With a blinding light, the roof of the tunnel was shattered, causing an avalanche of rocks to fill the open maw, blocking any escape. ☩

☩ Cynthia turned to face them all, eyes burning with passion as she knew what she must do. She did not recognize Lucas as the leader of Heaven, and she was blinded by rage. The group would need to fight her to retrieve the Virtue and advance. ☩

Roy was indeed following Kira and Janus but something felt different with janus. That transformation had to taken it's toll on him and the loss of a friend is never easy to handle. Roy too could relate to janus, he has seen much war in his early age. Back then, Roy was powerless to help his friends. He never had a chance to truly thank the ones he loved before they disappeared or worse. After dropping Janus off at the gate of the city Kira would bring up the topic of Chaos energy.

Roy himself knew almost nothing about chaos energy other then it's origin and how destructive it was. It was devastating in wars and often times set easy victories in battle. Those capable using such power should never be overlooked. It was this thought that made Roy want to confront Oni as quickly as possible. Not only to inform him that they had returned but to find out who was the one wearing the cloak. "There's no real way of stopping something so devastating. My father was known for it and he was the first to discover how to harness it. I believe Oni will have more knowledge on such a thing. It's an ancient power. Let us make haste my friend."

Upon hitting the ground, a ring of fire ignited around where Inferno had landed. Immediately he took a knee while allowing his fist to hit the ground. He didn't show it, but he was in a lot of pain and was extremely exhausted. Not just from using one of his most powerful techniques but he had been fighting Raphael, the Fallen Archangel and former Leader of Heaven for over a thousand years. Inferno's fist would relax as his palm touched the ground. he had forgotten the feel of soil, rock and stone. Elements that he favored. He wasn't affected from jumping through the open portal/bridge as much as Lucas but was a bit disoriented and uneasy.

The flames around him, lowered into the ground. From there, his hand would re-absorb the heat through the ground. if Inferno could cry he would. There was nothing like what he was feeling. He'd ignore the pain that was coming from his hands. To him, it was a fair trade. After a few moments, he'd pick himself up. The Fire Lord stood proudly among Lucas' comrades. The air around him was tense and his embers were free to flow around him. As he stood there, much like Phoenix after death, he'd rise in all of his glory. Taking in the feel of the ground, stone and rock around him made him feel right at home. Old ash would fall around him, leaving whatever was left of Abyss behind him. The Prize Fighter had returned.

He carefully took in all of characters around him. Wyndom, Negi, Kain, Avery, Raven and Cynthia. There were only two of them that Inferno could recall. He looked back over at Lucas while he was on the ground. "If this is what you are working with these days I see why you went through all of the trouble to bring me back." It wouldn't take long for Lucas' comrades to help the angel to his feet. He preferred them to keep their distance away from him. There were so many questions and memories flooding his mind. He then took noticed to the one named Cynthia as she closed off their only exit. Usually Inferno would be okay with that, but as much as he wanted to hand her a one-way ticket to oblivion he had used up much his power already to help Lucas.

Regardless, out of reaction Inferno extended his arm towards Cynthia hoping of being able to fire an Atomic Blast. One of his signature moves, however after using River of Power in such a manner he realized that his hands were extremely damaged. Without showing the pain, he quickly pulled back his hand. "Great welcome home party Lucas! Remind me to burn your book of great ideas!" Inferno knew he was in no condition to do battle, but jumping from one fight and into another seemed to be the story of his life.

Arc Imishi

Arc could only follow from one guard to the next, dismayed by the state of his comrades, keeping pace with the general easily as they moved from the path, to the prison, to the labyrinth. Arc kept his weapons sheathed as they began the process of hunting down the escaped prisoners. His weapons were at there most dangerous with his hands on the hilt and the blade in the sheathe. Sharp senses picked up the echoing sounds of distant chaos in the tunnels beyond, and the smell of dust and dampness betrayed the presence of some form of water. As much as they would probably need to hurry, Arc's instincts warned against haste, these types of labyrinths were often occupied, by some of the least friendly creatures you will ever find.

Arc drew his nodachi, the sword named Shiroi Karasu, the white raven and began to gather his energy focusing it into the blade he was holding. The energy would swirl and gather growing, invisible, but for those that could feel an angels magic. This was one of the more interesting of the spells in his repertoire at the moment. First the word, and then the intent began to form the idea like a flash of golden light beginning in the darkness. The spell needed only a trigger word to be set off and as Arc took the first step into the stone tunnels his lips would part to let the spells intonation spill out.

"Hikari.”

The word alchemized the energy into the magic he desired, a spell which wrapped his blade in soft golden light as if he was holding a torch, but the light was steady. The spell formed a golden shinning haze around the blade and as he held it outwards it would form a circle of golden light within an area of twenty feet. The spell would also act as a circle of protection against evil dissuading those with a negative balance of intent from passing within the area of light.

Holding Avery on his shoulders the summoner would slowly begin to set him down in a comfortable position. After he let go of him, his body would begin to return to his human state. Each bone would break and reform. This noise would be unsettling for almost anyone that was not use to it. Negi would fall to his knees and breath heavily. Even after transforming countless times he still did not like to feel that pain. He would look and see that Inferno, and Light was there with them. He did not really care who all was there, but there was something unsettling in his stomach, where was Kain? He gave him enough time to ride the wind so he could make it out of the cavern. If he did not make it out he would have to explain to Oni that someone ranked in his army had gone missing, and that would probably fall back on him. However that is one of the costs for taking a mission of such standards. When Raven would say to Inferno that one of his own is missing it kind of hit him as well because he was a part of his group, and Inferno was gone for so long how could he know who was on his side, and who was not. "That would be my fault" slowly standing up, "I overestimated the fact that he could get out of harms way because my brother actually gave him a rank in his army instead of being a grunt, so I took it as he could get out of situations like this." It wasn't that he had doubts that he would make it out, but in the current situation he was not there.

Negi would then look at what was going on between Raven and Cynthia. What he gathered from their talking was that Cynthia held a virtue, and she wanted to kill all of them. He would stumble over to Light and Inferno, "How the hell did you get out?" Referring to Inferno because he remembered Oni telling him that him and Raphael were sealed away somewhere so they could never unleash their power on the realms. However, Negi did not really care how he got out just so long as he doesn't try taking his realm over he would be fine. Now was not the time to try and make to many enemies, but more along the lines of getting the hell out of there.

((Sorry it isn't much but it will do for the current moment. >_> ))

Kain - K.O. Dragged off by Scorpion Queen.

Avery - After Negi had put his lifeless corpse to the side, he could feel life returning to himself - the ectoplasm pulsing through his body; although it would not be visible to anyone around. What caused his sudden awakening? All of the energies. Light, Inferno, and even Cynthia were all putting out massive amounts of energies, even if it was just lingering energy from Light and Inferno, it was still enough to disrupt him.

(Eh. Good enough.)

Kira's nose would eventually lead him to the Arena, where he first tracked down Oni when he came to Hell. The closer he got the stronger the smell of blood would become, and of course the blood didn't belong to Oni either. The screams of the crowd were different than the last time as well. Before the yelled while watching what looked like healthy competition, but their screams were now those of demons watching a blood sport. Just what was going on in the arena, and why wasn't Oni stopping it?

Kira would look towards Roy at his reply to his question, to his dismay there was not much to go on, in general about the chaos blast was something that would bug him for awhile, if anything that chaos energy would tip the balance in the battles. Either way there was nothing he could do for now, the fact that theres power like that, that even exists, is cause for people to worry, if anything it does change the game of whats going on, something did rub Kira the wrong way and he would confront Roy about it, it was just his nature.

"Lemme get this straight, your old man could use the chaos power? Would that mean you can as well? I know we hardly know each other, and frankly we both have not shown our full strength, im personally scared too, but it don't matter i guess, i can smell Oni at the arena, and scents i ain't smelled before."

Kira was scared of his full power, in human form he can harness some of it, but if he ever reverted back to his werewolf side, while using his dragon blood, what would happen, last time he let it all out, he lost control and a good beating brought him back to his senses. Once they arrived at the arena, he would hear the crowd, smell the blood, and all the new scents, it was weird of all things, a blood sport, there was not this must in the air last time he was here.

"Something don't smell right about this place, Roy, why don't you lead the way, you know your way around, i got your back."

Spinning his sword in his hand, he would place it in his sheath on his lower back where his gluts are, keeping the sword safely tucked away, roaming around, many things left Kira wanting in the fights, but he would cover his nose and walk with Roy once he began, this smell was strong, and would make tracking Oni not the most fun thing to do.

With a muffled voice "Sometimes i really hate having improved senses, ugh, annoying."

†Where there is charity and wisdom, there is neither fear nor ignorance.†

[Location: Underground lair]

"Titles matter not, Raven Kanzaki, only what is in your heart. Something felt amiss about you, and it has finally given birth to your true colors."

☩ With a slight wave of her hand, a ripple of pure, undefiled energy began emitting from her aura and washing over those around. Soon enough Raven's right ring finger would begin to omit a strange sense of Corruption, or rather the ring that Lucas had given her was. It was hard for Cynthia to put her finger on what bugged her with Raven, but now that the fight had concluded and the chaos energy had rippled forth, it made the small pulse of Corruption spring to life. It would seem that Cynthia suspected the group of collaborating with dark and forbidden forces, and it was now up to her to bring it to a stop. ☩

"Corruption. You have been consumed from the moment you put that trinket on, now I will purge your soul!"

☩ Cynthia was unaware that she was actually the one being effected by the ring, whose potent energy source was clouding her mind with delusional images of how a Guardian of Charity should perform. Hopefully the others would realize what was going on, however Cynthia's mind would be blocked from Raven by a swirling force of dark confusion. She could speak with her telepathically...but her words would make it through statically, muddled, and unsure. In fact, they could even serve to provide her with more reason to fight. ☩

☩ Cross securely griped in her right hand, Cynthia advanced towards Raven since she was at the head of the group. She didn't care whom she fought, she would take them all on once things began. She swung her weapon right-to-left to hit Raven's left side. She expected to miss, even with the vicious speed to which she applied the strike, and so her feet began to dance in a circle as she anticipated the Cross to pass through the air and do a full 360. Not even Cynthia could stop so much momentum very quickly, nor did she want to. Raven knew from earlier what her Cross was capable of, and getting hit by one of those points would mean a swift end. ☩

☩ It had begun. ☩

"Thanks. I'll be fine..."
Lucas grunted as he took Raven and Wyn's arms for support. He was looking a little worse for ware, but he would manage to stand well enough. He'd sigh with relief as he had finally rid himself of that pitch blackness. What a horrible place he had been in but there was no time to dwell on that. He'd glance over to Inferno, shaking his head at the comment towards his Vanguards. "Maybe I should have left you there." Lucas would let out a small chuckle before looking up to Cynthia.

The tension suddenly became suffocatingly thick but Lucas was in no condition do anything about it. All that he recognized was that Cynthia was baring the Virtue that they needed. Looking up to Cynthia's eyes, the Imperfect One could start to tell that she was being corrupted slowly. Lucas wasn't too surprised if this woman was protecting something so powerful and pure that she would easily be susceptible to being corrupted. Although since Cynthia was a Celestial the corruptive energies around Lucas' ring would overwhelmingly confusing. It was almost like feeling an enormous adrenaline rush for the first time. Just what kind of power did Cynthia wield to make the latent corruption energy in the ring react?

Lucas lowered his brow and stepped back from Wyn and Raven. He was not prepared to fight and neither was Inferno. "We need that Virtue."

The Imperfect Angel kept staring into Cynthia's eyes as if entranced by her confusion. If his Vanguards could neutralize this threat quickly then he wouldn't have any concern. The High Council of Heaven and most everyone residing in the realm did not know of Lucas' own corrupted soul. A long time ago, Lucas had sought to become more powerful and in turn became corrupted. Raven, Wyn, and even Inferno knew of this but it had been so long since Lucas had let himself be overcome by the corruptive energy that no one else was aware. However seeing Cynthia like this was a reminder of how alluring and addictive using being Corrupted was like.

Shaking his head, Lucas took a deep breath and kept himself at the back of the group. "I know I can count on you."

"I gained those titles by fighting for what my heart told me to. The right thing to do. And now, I will break through your reason; you're in my territory, now."
The pretense of civility drained from her voice, leaving the deadly hiss of power in it's wake. It was too true, Cynthia had chosen the worst place to trap them. She could also feel the corruptible energy, tugging at her, digging deep and bearing against the part of her that was virtuous, pushing and wanting to make room. It was as if it sought Corvus, wanting to spring her to the surface. Or the darkest part of her that was thrice worse than Corvus: Panteera. Raven was starting to slide out of focus, as if she were a flickering image that did not belong.

The Lunar Scythe engulfed into blazing light as a Gateway opened, the weapon dropping inside. Instead, Raven reached for a weapon she had not touched in nearly a decade. It remained a forgotten relic, though not entirely unforgotten. It would be the only weapon that could serve the entire group opposing Cynthia. The long, golden shaft emerged from the Gateway, thirteen rings jingling in a raucous manner, each ring with the symbol of it's respective zodiac sign glittering in the dim light of the cavern. Twirling the talisman, Raven drew her focus--not to Cynthia, but to those behind herself.

Inferno's residual flames on her left blazed to life, suddenly rising and roaring to life. The ground trembled, the threads and ribbons of water around Raven veering to her right to oppose the living flames. The ground was littered with earthy debris, clods of earth and stone shakily clumping together and rising to form a lumpy sphere. The very air they inhaled and exhaled started to collect in a small whirlwind not so far from Negi. All at once, a brilliant line of light shot from Inferno's flames to the swirling earth sphere.

Raven pushed off from her right, the ground cracking as she shot forth with a swift burst of speed and slid along the ground, kicking dirt and earth up as she shot by as a blur. The Cross would indeed soar right over her, however she was now in direct line to collide and thwart Cynthia's momentum with her own by throwing her legs out from under her. Even if Cynthia used her momentum to move, Raven was already prepared to use the Talisman against her. The cavern was filled with the noisy jangle of keys, their powers resonating and chaotic.

It had not been a coincidence that Raven offered to help Cynthia, but that knowledge was lost to all the others save her self and Cynthia. As an Empath, as well as a Psionic entity, Raven's specialty lay not just in Psychokinesis, but in healing. Her nature as both a Cancer and an Earth Snake allowed her to infringe on the soul or spirit and mend it slowly. The moment she helped Cynthia remove her armor, she established a mental link with the woman. At such a close proximity, Raven could feel the smothering cloud bearing down on Cynthia. It reminded her of entering Rogziel's mind, which had been touched, and therefore tainted with Chaos. Raven knew right off the bat she would have to incapacitate Cynthia before trying to reach out into her mind and disperse the cloud. Luckily for Raven, she held the slight edge of how to achieve that. The dip in the water both served to break her fall and to facilitate the Neohuman's recovery speed. She had a small use of speed left in her, and she had come at Cynthia hard.

Already the first step of her counter attack was at hand, and before too long a second beam of light would appear, gaining in power as the energies of the elements drew upon the power.
