Takara remained unaffected by Cell's words, used to having nasty insults thrown at her. Then Cedric himself came over and took the two out of the room, shutting the door right after. Then he turned around and came up closer to her, then asked her this: "Will you answer one question for me, Lady Takara: Did you kill the Ehsar king?"

"Yes I did." Takara answered as her fingers entwined with each other as they laid out flat against her lap. "He was getting ready to execute me so I blew him back with my wind magic. He hit his head against one of the desks in his room and was knocked-out. I took the small blade he was going to use to cut my throat and stabbed him until he was dead. Why?"

-----

Liam leaned against the castle wall, his head lifted up towards the sky. His dirty blond hair hung over his eyes, his golden eyes seeming to reflect the light back. He'd tried to find his way back and failed badly, only ending up in putting himself in a completely different place than before. Asking for directions would be useless, seeing how his memory wasn't too good and he would probably just get himself in a tighter mess; if that were possible.

"...Might as well ask...." Liam muttered to himself, pushing himself from the wall and doing just as he said he would. In the end he did in fact get himself lost, until he finally just asked a maid to take him back to his room. She nodded and took in through the halls without any hesitation, and soon they were standing in front of the door. He sighed as he shook his head, feeling left in the maid's shadow for knowing the castle halls so well.

"Don't worry," The maid suddenly told him as she spotted his discomfort. "You'll eventually learn your way. For now I'd suggest getting maids to lead you around until you're able to learn your way."

"Thanks." Liam simply answered, giving her a slight wave before he went into his room, which he shared with five other knights who currently appeared not to be there. He didn't mind, he preferred to have his own space. Hopefully the queen would give him a hand, seeing how he'd helped her. Not that she seemed like a very compassionate person. No, she was just flat-out cold-blooded to him.

"Lucky me." He remarked to himself as he sat down on his bed, scratching the front of his neck.

Tamuril jsut continued to think of Takara, even ignoring Eveel. His ears lightly twiched as Eveel began to play with them, and Tamuril was brought back to reality. Eveel was a funny creature. But, he was still young. "They're Elven. They're basically the same as a normal humans, but they give me a more keen sense of hearing. As do my eyes, another trait of an Elf. My father was an Elf, and my mother was royal blood, so I"m half Elvish. WE have yet to know if the Royal Blood is human or not." Tamurl explained to Eveel, yawning at the end of his speech.

Tamuril shut his eyes, and put his hands behind his head. The rest of his body laid limp on the bed, slowly getting absorbed into the sheets. Eveel was probably pretty bored, but it couldn't be helped. "Sorry Eveel, if you're getting bored, but I'm pretty tired today."

Cedric slammed a fist and a chunk of the table splintered. He quickly spun away and took a few steps toward the door then stopped. All he had worked for. Everything. His final mission. Not only did he not complete it, but it was done FOR HIM. He sighed, trying to restrain himself as best he could. He was breathing heavily, penting his rage from destroying the entire library. It was all for nothing... NOTHING! He faced the Queen once more and shook his head. "You wouldn't understand..." he sighed and drew his sword. Cedric stood for a few moments, examining the blade. He was wondering what would happen when he died. Would being Godsend stop him or would he pass on just like any other?
PostPosted: Thu Mar 09, 2006 6:51 pm

"Maybe I would not." Takara answered to Cedric, watching him with a piece of the table beside her foot. Thinking about the king made Takara wonder if the dead king of Ehsar had really been that way, or if it had been the evil god. She didn't know, and she mostly didn't care. He was dead now, as it should be. Now his wife was on the throne, though from Takara knew only temporarily. The prince was getting ready to become king, which she guessed that the god would seep into next.

"Alexia and Domicus give you their regards." Takara suddenly stated, remembering that long time ago when she'd first been visited by the two gods. Domicus had told her to tell Cedric that they said hello, or at least something around there. She couldn't remember, it was too long ago and thinking about their voices made her head hurt because they had been so powerful. You would think that because they were just memories that they couldn't cause pain like that, but for some reason they did. It was almost as if she could hear them as if they were right there.

He lowered his sword and looked at her curiously. He remembered the names now that they were spoken to him. After a moment, he sighed softly again. "Then you know who I am. Very well, then. I suppose I could explain." He paused to look at the door. Truly, he did not wish anyone else to hear. "As you seem to know, I am Cedric Alimony, Godsend of Hosvanji, Recreator of all things beyond repair. Hosvanji was killed in a war among the Gods during this, my final mission. I was supposed to kill the old king of Trusar. Next, I had to maneuver so as to kill the Ehsarian Family.

"When he died, I lost the last piece of guidance and companionship I had. In addition, I no longer have a purpose or reason for living. So, I vowed that when I finished this final mission, as a final will to Hosvanji, I'd kill myself. I was born to kill and now I no longer have a guide to aim my sword. I'm worthless now. In addition, I never completed the final will; you did so in my stead..." Yet another sigh.

"So, with the very sword Hosvanji bestowed upon me, I'll end my life." He looked at Takara. "And now you know everything."

When Tamuril opened his eyes, he noticed that Eveel had been sleeping on his chest. He must have fallen asleep at some point, just like Tamuril did. His head rolled to look outside and to his dismay the sun was in the same position it was before he laid down on his bed. Tamuril just sighed lightly, making sure not to wake Eveel up. Some protector, falling asleep on the job. He wondered what was going through the little dragons head. Probably thinking about Takara.

Tamuril's eyes began to sadden. While he thought about Takara, thoughts of Shin came up. Tamuril had just killed someone close to her, and she pretended like it was nothing around him. Although she was just trying to avoid the subject, it would still linger inside both their heads.

He layed down on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. If one were to walk in and casually look at him, that person would have thought him dead. The only evidence of him being alive was the slow movement of his chest. He was thinking about what he was going to do in the future, since the only thing that is keeeping him alive are his promises. Other then that, he had nothing to live for. He looked into his past for guidance, but only found pain and suffering. He had very little happiness in his life, and now he wondered if he'll ever be happy. Not the kind of happy that stays only for a little one, but the kind that is deep and eternal. Like when you see a loved one when you've been away for a long time. He sighed heavily. If he were to die now, no one would be sad, no one will miss him. He closed his eyes, and made his mind go blank. Swimming in a pool of nothingness, this was how he slept. Since gory nightmares of his past haunted his actual sleep. So he just sent his mind wandering in a state like sleep, but wasn't sleep.

Eveel yawned as he opened his eyes, clumping for a few seconds as he blinked softly. He crawled up Tamuril's chest and then reached his chin, though he didn't stop there. The dragon waited until most of his body was on Tamuril before he yawned again and then laid down, right on the knight's face.

"Your face is comfy...." Eveel murmured before he fell back asleep, his tail limp on Tamuril's neck.

-----

Takara listened to Cedric, her face remaining the same the entire time that he was talking. So, he was going to kill himself then? Takara waited for a few moments to speak, sorting out her own thoughts before she opened her mouth or even made any motions to show that she'd even been listening.

"The king of Ehsar was not actually the king of Ehsar." Takara stated as she looked back at Cedric, her hands still folded on her lap. "Perhaps the man was there, but he was not the one in control. There was someone else controlling him without him even knowing. I do not know exactly who it is but it is a god who is vying to get out of a prison he was sealed in. In order to do that he needs all four jewels. The reason that I am saying this is because perhaps you should wait until this dark god is either dead like your Hosvanji or sealed back away with no chance of ever being able to escape. He is the one responsible for what has happened in Ehsar and was the one who made the king start this war. So in reality this god is the true king of Ehsar, not the one who had been made of flesh and blood. The old king of Ehsar is still alive in my own view, though, perhaps you do not view it in the same way that I do."

He was silent, listening appropriately. When she finished, he held up his sword and looked at it again. It slowly faded to a blazing red then back to purple. No one else would understand but Cedric. He sheathed the weapon. "Then I suppose I still have some use. But before I leave, you have to promise that I shall kill him. To have someone steal it away a second time, even in ignorance, will not go over so easily with my spirit. This God or figurehead, whichever it may be, will die at my doing, and I'll cause some serious havoc for anyone that tries to have it otherwise." Without pause, he knelt then, one fist to the ground. "You have my services so long as you can keep that promise."

"I do not care if I get the final blow myself. As long as the god dies." Takara answered as she looked at Cedric, her words being true. She hated the god herself, but as long as in the end he could never bring anymore truoble that was all that mattered to her. It was this god's fault that so many people were killed, namely, her family. If they were still here today maybe Takara would have grown up to be a different person. Be the way that a young teenage girl was supposed to be. Carefree, blissful, just happy. She wasn't anything like that now, she couldn't even fall underneath the catagory as a sweet teenage girl at the least. Nothing could change the past. All that Takara could do was to pave paths for the future of Trusar.

'As long as the god dies.' Takara repeated to herself mentally in a hiss as she looked away from Cedric and down at the pieces of the broken table. The pieces were suddenly pushed together and placed in a neat pile, Takara doing this by pushing them around with the air. Only Takara herself, Eveel, Tamuril and Cedric knew about the god, for now at least. Takara would have to do many things to be able to put an end to the war, something that would force secrets to be revealed. Maybe that would be one of them. There were secrets that Tamuril didn't know, and thinking about that made Takara tell herself that she would tell them to him.... Hopefully. Tamuril was her source of comfort, and she didn't want to do anything to taint it. His happiness was just as important as saving Trusar was, if not more.

Cedric rose and gave a bow of his head. "Then that is all. I will be in my room, as usual." He spun around and left, in somewhat of a better mood than before. At the least, he wasn't threatening to tear the building down.

Tamuril's eye twitched repeatedly. Thanks to eveel, Tamuril could barely breathe now. Tamuril's hand came up behind Eveel, and he lightly lifted Eveel off his face. He was wondering how Takara could deal with that everyday. It was worse than a cat, at least a cat was fluffy. Eveel was just.... Not fluffy.

"How cute." Tamuril said in a slightly annoyed voice. He finally placed Eveel off to the side of the bed, and sat up. He grabbed the crutches leaning against his bed, and pulled himself up. 'Well I'm getting bored. Let's go see how Takara is doing." Tamuril slowly began to leave the room, giving enough time for Eveel to get up and climb on to his shoulder.

Tamuril walked out his door, and looked around the halls. He was trying to find a maid, or soldier. Luckily, a maid had just walked by. Tamuril asked her where Takara was last seen, and she said in the library. Tamuril made his way to the library then, though it took him awhile to get there. The crutches slowed him down considerably. When he did finally get there, he noticed guards outside of the door, which probably meant Takara was inside. He asked one of the guards if she was busy or not, and they said that Anon was inside. "Well, I guess we'll wait then, Eveel." Tamuril mummbled, before he leaned against the wall. Suddenly, Cedric left the room. How lucky, they didn't have to wait long at all.

When Cedric finally left the room, Tamuril's head, and only his head, peeked into the room. Takara was the only one in there. He was seeing if she was busy or not.

Anon, as he was still known, nodded to Tamuril as he passed. He was still Anonymous and planned to keep it that way. The name Cedric never came up in books of history, but it was in the background of many very large events. Anon I shall be until use runs out.

In a way, he was glad Takara had told him of this opportunity to redeem himself, but at the same time he was somewhat irritated for not even being around when it was all taken care of the first time. Bastardly Gods sharing my name. They should know the importance of my secrecy! It cannot be known one such as myself exists for we are not supposed to. Gods are not supposed to intervene in this manner...

Takara watched Cedric leave and then looked back down at the table pieces, moving them away with the air. Her papers had been scattered and the ink bottle had been shattered on the floor, spilling black on the hard stone floor. It would take a while to remove, but eventually the ink stain would disappear since the floor wasn't something like carpet. Only until she heard Eveel's whistle did she look up, and spotting Tamuril's head from the door her face melted back into emotion as she gave him a warm smile.

"Hello Tamuril." Takara greeted as she brought up a hand and waved it at him. Eveel jumped off of Tamuril's shoulder, running into the room and leaping onto her lap. He purred joyfully as he rolled around on her lap before he straited himself and cuddled against her stomach.

"Mummy, Mummy, Mummy...." The baby dragon chanted as he closed his eyes and leaned against her. Takara actually wasn't that comfortable to lean against, seeing how she neglected eating too often, but that didn't matter to Eveel. She was soft, warm, and made him feel happy.

"Miss me?" Takara asked as she shook her head, placing her hand over the dragon and rubbing his neck with her thumb as she looked up at Tamuril as she continued to smile.

Before Tamuril walked in, he scanned the room. Pieces of wood were seen, her papers scattered about, and the black ink on the floor. "What the hell? Did Anon do this?" Tamuril questioned to himself, as he finally walked in. The crutches moved fluently with his legs. It seemed as if Tamuril had been using the crutches for at least a week, even though it had only be less than an hour.

"Uh, a little unorganzied today, are we?" Tamuril said, as he turned around to shut the door. 'Miss me?' Takara had asked Eveel that, of course, but Tamuril did still somewhat miss her. He didn't say anything, but he did.
