I hate to be a killjoy Angel, but you're going to have to change your tactical squads if you want to keep the current equipment options.

The tactical squads are legal codex-wise

EDIT: if it's referring to them taking razorbacks, i plan on combat squading them and leaving the sarge + HB with three bolters at the back while the melta and four bolters run around in the razorback. I've used similar tactics with heavy flamer razorbacks and they work well for the Blood Angels

Ah well if thats your plan then fair enough. Although i didn't think you could do that with Razorbacks. Anyway if its legal then go for it. You've got a good mix of anti infantry and armour with both of them.

Honestly, your Sarge has a power fist and a combi-melta; if you're going to spend the points to kit him that heavily for close combat, why don't you stick him in the Razorback with the other front-liners?

Yeah i agree with Elf, your sarge is more suited to the Tank Hunting role with the combi-melta. Blast apart a tank, charge in, equip your Sarge with melta bombs and move in for the kill.

sarges are best in the thick of the things, the backfielder combat squad usually is well enough in cover and not threatening visually, so they can do without sarges ld bonus... and combining squads meltagun with sarges combi-melta makes almost surekill vs most tanks

Troops:
Veteran Squad: Plasma pistol, Plasmagun, meltagunx2, Grenadiers
Veteran Squad: Plasma pistol, meltagunx3, grenadiers
Veteran Squad: Bolt pistol, Grenade Launcherx3 Grenadiers

Platoon:
2 squads and one command, all just have autocannons.

up to 1850, add 1 3 lascannon squad to the platoon, Platoon and company commanders get boltguns,
and add in a leman russ punisher, with heavy stubber and heavy bolters all around.
also, squadron the two battle tanks.
up to 2k, add a vanilla sqaud to the platoon, a griffon mortar, take away everone's boltguns and the hunter killer missile, but turn on every infantry squads vox, except the vanilla guardsmen's.

Basically this is my 1500 kill the enemy and ask no more questions before moving on to the next target. Its simple, small, elite, but there are numerous tactics to this army.

The Heroic captain stays in the Valkyrie and gives all of my troops ld 9 and lets them regroup when under half strength as per the old Iron Discipline Rule. Every Model is also equipped with a Gravchute, allowing everything to deep strike.

The plan is to have a guard army that has more models than most armies at this points ammount, and has more manuverability and tacticle flexibility than an eldar force.

Well, it ceratinly unique. Personally, i'd say you're spending way toom many points tooling out your squads. They might have carapace armour and bs 4, but they're still guardsmen.

Is this list supposed to be tooled out against a particular force, or a take on everything list?

Also, please explain how you plan to have the squads coordinate with each other.

Good List, lots of heavy hitters, just be careful about grouping them together. you have a lot of pricy stuff there, it'd be a shame to loose it all to a vocano cannon or vortex missile.

@ Dante

You seem to have all of your bases covered as well. just be careful about being outnumbered. Still, with your strategy of kill, move on, kill, etc, has no glaring weaknesses. Play test it and see how it goes.

I figured that 10 S8 ap3 large blast templates and 90+ lasguns with some flamers and autocannons and heavy bolters thrown in would be enough for most armies at 1500 pts.

What would you recomend then?
