Miluiel nodded. "That is respectable, I like your ways of life." The elf told him. She figured also she would have to get use to them because most likely she would be adopting their customs. They would be leading the wolf clan, she would, after saving her parents, be bound to the wolves. Her kid brother would have to take over the elves. She smiled, slowing her happiness. "I hope they are alright. Azrael, what can the wolf do to them?" she asked sadly. She was afraid for them, and she did want to go see what had happened since she had left.
Our home. Those words held both great joy and also sadness. She was unsure of how things would turn out, but being with Azrael would be worth it. She was sure of that! "Yes, our home." she laughed. Miluiel reached out to comfort Shinn. "What is it?" she asked him looking down at the pup, "You didn't step on anything did you?" she asked worriedly.
"Are you strong enough?" Tanis asked Helena when she hugged him. "I would hate for you to be losing energy." He smiled sweetly. "How are you feeling?"

"Renegades are treacherous. Their logic is flawed, and they can be uncharacteristically vicious." Azrael said sadly. "So I can't be sure what he will do to them for sure." He looked into Miluiel's eyes. "Would you prefer that we relocated to your ancestral home?" Azrael asked her. "If you would prefer to settle down there after we oust or gentle the renegade... then we will go with you if you would like. There are many strong leaders who would take up my place if I left. I want you to know that we will be fine with either decision." He said seriously and honestly. He would go anywhere that Miluiel wanted him to go.
Shinn whimpered and shook his head. "Sword... don't like the smell." He said softly. "Scares me."
Veral managed to sit up, and Mazzia let him reluctantly. He had healed himself enough not to need healing. "Try to take it easy. What was the bad dream?" She asked him.
Veral shook his head. "It was just strange... just really weird. Don't worry about it right now."

Miluiel blinked surprised. She had not expected Azrael to give up his home to move to hers. She thought for a moment and shook her head no. "Not yet, I want to see your life here. When you have seen where I live when it is fixed up we will make a decision. How is that?" She asked him.
Her arms wrapped around Shinn. Miluiel glared for a moment at Tanis. "Yes, swords are vile things." she said softly to Shinn. "But if you think about it sometimes a sword is no different from claws. We will have him put it away, alright Little Shinn?" she asked stroking his soft fur.

Shinns fur bristled with embarrassment. "Sorry..." He said looking at his claws. "Didn't know. But I was born with claws..." Shinn said quietly.
Azrael nodded thoughtfully. "Yes... that sounds well and good. Fair enough for me." Azrael said. He did not really want to leave his home, but he wanted the choice to be up to the both of them, and he wanted to be with the one who was going to be his wife. He also wanted to Shinn to decide which place he liked better, and Shinn had many friends here. "Oh my son. Not all creatures are born with claws like we are. Some must make special tools as alternatives to claws. A sword is one of those tools, my son."
Shinn nodded. "Don't like the smell of iron." He said softly.

Miluiel shook her head. "No need to be sorry, but if you think about it you use your claws to fight, and to cut things, right? They are different, but also sort of the same. Do not feel bad, alright? It is a rather nasty smell, but again it is necessary for our survival. I keep a dagger with me, it is a smaller form of a sword, but it suffices as a minimal protection. It makes me feel better having it." She explained to Shinn.
Miluiel lay against Azrael, "Do not worry about it." she said placing her hand on his. "The decision is not soon to come, it is still a great time off." A great time....how long was a great time for the elves compared to the wolves. That was something she had not taken into consideration. "A-Azrael what is the average life span for werewolves?" she asked in a small voice.

Azrael smiled at her worry. "Do not worry about age." Azrael said. "An average werewolf's lifespan is from eight hundred years, though many live longer, and many life much shorter as well." Azrael said. "And I am very young Mara. We age and grow to adulthood quickly." He explained. "Are you concerned for me dieing apart from you, or too soon?" He asked her. "Please don't worry Miluiel... A werewolf can also transcend normal mortality if they work toward it. But the moon father only chooses a few to be what we call Watchers. You won't leave me for my life span will?" Azrael asked worriedly. He didn't want her to leave them now, not when they had their plans.

Miluiel shook her head quickly. "No of course not!" She said a little too loudly. She blushed quieting. "I was just worried. Elves live for a long time, a very long time. I am young for my people, we live for a thousand or so years. The oldest in our history, my great grandfather, still lives. He is going on 1540." Miluiel took Azrael's hands in hers and held them firmly. "I love you Azrael, and I love Shinn, I will not leave you. Do you trust me?" She asked him seriously. She bowed her head. "Yes, it is a fear of mine." she said softly.

Azrael nodded and sighed relieved. "Yes... yes I trust you with all of my heart." He said to her. "Perhaps I may die... I do not want to... but I might live a long life for a werewolf. Especially with someone like you to look forward to living my life with." Azrael said, kissing her on the cheek. "But this is not a pleasant subject, not in front of Shinn.
"Okay... so you make daggers and swords for claws... I see now." Shinn said. He looked around and his ears twitched. "I hear a howl..." Shinn said. "The feast is almost ready!" Shinn said excitedly. "Yay!"

Starlight Lotus “Perhaps.” Her word came gently as she took his hand getting up gently. She’d follow him anywhere. She didn’t want him to feel that she was dead weight. Though she doubted he’d feel that way as she smiled back, her hand closing over his as she stood there.

Miluiel nodded, "I am sorry for bringing up such a topic, it must be a painful thought for you, strange at least." The topic hurt her too, she didn't want to be alone, and if something happened then she wouldn't be...She smiled looking up at him. "Thank you dearest." She said softly kissing his nose.
She blushed looking down at Shinn, "Well then we had best get going." She laughed, "Do not forget your catch little hunter."

Starlight Lotus Helena thought a moment as she looked at Tanis. “I’m fine. My energy is a little taxed, but I’m fine. I had to use some of my own energy to heal the wounds I had. They’re healed now though.” Her words came gently as she spoke. “I just think I saw the Lady Shera and Celeron get up finally.”

Shinn jumped and bounded for the family den and soon returned with his catch wrapped in a cloth, holding it tightly and protectively to his chest. "I'm ready!!" He said happily.
Azrael nodded. "One moment, I will check on guest den." He walked into the room and saw Veral and Mazzia. "The feast is just about ready and we are leaving now." He said. "Are you ready?" He asked.
Veral looked up gratefully but then lay his head back. "I will head up later. I still need some rest I think." He said.
Mazzia nodded. "The same here. I believe that it is best to stay with him."
Azrael nodded and sighed. "If that is what you want. We will save some food for you." Azrael exited and saw Shera and Celeron. "The feast is almost ready, and we are heading up now, if you wish to join us." He informed them before heading to the main room. "I am ready to go." He said to them, smiling broadly at Miluiel and his son. "Let us head up to the Honor Hall." He said to them. He nodded to Tanis and Helena. "We will be going up now. You may come whenever you wish, if you so desire, but it is your choice." Azrael picked up Shinn in one arm and wrapped the other arm around Miluiel's shoulder and started to lead them out of the house toward a large crude wooden hall set up in the center of the village.

Miluiel smiled up at him following along beside him. "What is going to happen tonight at this ceremony?" Miluiel asked. "What sort of things do you celebrate?"

Helena just sat there before responding. “I am not sure. When I move, it seems I struggle for breath. So, it might be safe to say my strength has not returned yet.” Her words did not come lightly as she smiled at him. She would have preferred her strength had returned. She did not expect her sacrifice to be so draining. Her eyes never left Tanis though as she would move her right hand to grabbing his left and interlacing her fingers with his.

Tanis gently took her hand in his. He kissed it smiling at her. "Would you like me to carry you Miss Helena to the celebration, or shall we stay here and wait for you to be feeling a bit better before me move?"
