Ben made a note at how impressive Synge's form was, he hadn't seen her in this light before and it was rather exciting. He did find it strange that you had never been to a pool but wasn't about to make a deal of it. He watched you swimming a little and then swam some more on his own. He did carry himself in the water relatively well.
Oh? Well this is a fun thing to do since the Dark Sea is too dangerous. Say...uh...you have pretty good form in the water there...you train?
Admittedly, this was a strange question but he was curious.

*Synge swam around near where you were swimming, not letting you get too far away. She was still a little convinced that this whole pool thing was dangerous somehow. When she heard you mentioned the Dark Sea being too dangerous she simply shrugged, she had never thought of it that way, but had also never swam in it either. She stopped swimming when you ask about her form, no one had ever asked her something like that so she was a little surprised, but not upset.*
Oh, um, yeah, kind of. Well, I used to. I've always been big on running, I find it better to run somewhere than to walk. I'm pretty quick, or I used to be at least. Like I said I haven't done much because of the problems with my eye. Swimming is just something I do for fun though. Er...I also used to get some training from a friend the first time I was staying here...
*She started to swim again. She hadn't thought about Ksi in a while, but when she did she always wondered how he was. His training didn't last as long as she would have liked, but what she did learn helped her a great deal when she went back home.*
((Oh, I replied with Angelus as well. Poor Angelus, what will she have to face next?! haha))

For a while, Ben just watched you swim, occasionally taking laps of his own. He had almost wanted to say something more but he decided he had better not.
Oh really? Does your eye cause that much trouble? So much that you can't run? I didn't realize how intense it was. But...you handle yourself well.
A friend? He wondered what that meant. At first he felt a strange feeling come over him but he shook it off.
Hm... that sounds like fun...what did you train?
He then went back and started backstroking across the pool, splashing water slightly.

*Synge shrugged as you commented on her eye.*
Well, I just mean that on the days when it does hurt it takes a lot of the already low amount of energy I have. It is hard to be pulled down by more than one force, heh. Thanks though, I try to keep my stamina up.
*She swam around as she considered your question about her training. She spent a moment remembering how much fun she had during that time, and as she spoke a very natural smile appeared on her face.*
Well, I met this amazing person here and he offered to teach me how to fight. Which I really needed to know, so I happily said yes. We didn't get too far, because of the tavern closing and everyone kind of going their own way, but before we parted he started to teach me how to work with a sword in some pretty interesting ways. It helped build up some arm muscle too!
*She laughed a little as she lifted on of her more slender than strong arms out of the pool to show you. She knew that she had lost a lot of her strength since then, so she was poking fun at herself.*
I am really grateful though, what he taught me helped me a lot back at home. I might have lost more than an eye if it weren't for him. If I had the chance, I would definitely learn more.

Right...I could understand. I mean...I have a hard enough time just walking around some days...much less the pain. I am sure you have to give it everything you can just to make due. You really are a strong person, I admire that.
He continued swimming around, ducking underwater and then getting back up to the surface. He looked as though he was going to approach you but then he ducked underwater and then swam past you, his fingertip grazed your leg and likely tickled somewhat with the speed.
He came back to the surface and breathed a deep breath.
That friend sounds like a good person. Lots of them used to roam this place back when it was big...at least that is what I understand. With people like that, I can see why.
He stretched and swam in a small circle in the water before kicking his feet up out of the water and doing a hand stand underwater then coming to the surface.
I never really had any friends like that...never really had any friends...other than people who just pitied me...or wanted me for my money...it really was hard...but I am doing better now.
As you showed your arm, Ben took the chance to test the muscle. He swam over and felt your arm for what muscle it had left. Without drawing back he nodded.
Pretty strong it feels like...good for you. Oh..hehe...sorry.
Now, he drew back and then swam around a little before he asked another question.
Say... did you ever meet Aykon? I might have asked before but I wondered about him. Seems like a popular guy when he was here.

*Synge watched you swimming around as you spoke. She couldn't but smile a little when you complimented her. She had never thought of herself as strong, so this meant a lot. She was going to say something about it when he ducked under the water and touched her just barely, which was just enough to make her freeze and feel nervous again. Making talking impossible for a moment. She nervously shrugged at your talk about Ksi being a good person and such. She felt that him talking so openly about his friend troubles was a bit odd, but she didn't question the issue for now too much.*
Ah, well, don't go and start thinking I have a million friends hidden somewhere, hehe. Ksi was actually my first, other than maybe two other people who were around at the time.
*Synge tried to stay calm as you felt her arm, but she knew she had to be blushing at least a little bit. She knew it was nothing, but couldn't help feeling nervous. She was really starting to wonder what was wrong with her. She wondered if maybe you had some sort of magic that you weren't telling her about. When you swam away she breathed easier and heard the question about Aykon. Swimming around now as well she answered.*
Of course, he was probably the best friend I've ever had honestly. He made me feel like I had a home here. I think he probably helped every person who walked through those doors in some way. He was just kind of, special somehow...
((Aykon? Gross, never liked the guy! haha Kidding kidding.))

Ben could tell that this was making you a bit nervous so he backed up a bit.
Hmm...well.. I had a few friends but it was nothing all that...great...they kind of ...were difficult sometimes.
He felt the tiredness coming to him after he finished investigating your arm.
Really? That's cool...he really does sound like...a really good guy...but...goodness I am tired...
He swam up to the entrance of the pool and got out, drying himself off. He knew he didn't have much time left.
Synge...I really like spending time with you...we should do it more often...

*Synge seemed a little down about your sudden leaving, but she kept a calm face. She nodded and watched you get out of the water and dry off. She was a bit distracted watching you, but realized it and swam away to get back to normal. When she your heard your voice she turned to look at you as you left. She smiled at the comment and called out to you.*
Er...me too!
*She felt silly calling out suddenly, and wasn't even sure if he had heard her. She swam under the water, careful to close her eyes this time. When she came up she took a deep breath and realized she was feeling a little tired as well.*

He smiled and then dried off.
Goodbye! Take care of...yourself...
He then heads out of the swimming pool and to his room. He falls asleep quickly thereafter, not changing at all.

*Synge swam around for a bit on her own, but on top of feeling tired she was feeling frightened at being alone in the big pool. She really still wasn't used to the whole pool thing. She swam to the edge and got out of the water and dried of. She was extra careful around her eye area and put her patch back on. Carrying her towel and shorts she made her way upstairs to her room where she changes into her sleeping clothes and decides to try and sleep in her room. She lays in the bed for a while, with her eyes closed, trying to fall asleep.*

During the day, Ben had woken up and was feeling like a bit of travel, he had to get some more money again. Sighing, he got up, took a shower, changed into his "formal" clothes and headed out of the tavern. Someone might have seen him walk out of the building and head down to the boat dock and then minutes later, a boat disappeared in the horizon.
((Sorry, needed him to do something for the day! ))
