Shazzer So... guess who just got her letter of acceptance to UNB for a Bachelor's in Computer Science? SHAZZER DID. Actually, "Miss Kristine R." did. But I am pumped. >3 Guess who also got a 2000$* internal scholarship? Guess who's only paying half tuition anyway, living with family, and gets a book discount because her dad works for the university? YES I AM LAUGHING AT THE WORLD rofl * (I'm francophone, we put the dollar sign on the other side of the number... silly anglos, with your backwards dollar signs and decimal "points." VIRGULES 4EVA)LOL to respond to your small comment, yeah why DO anglophones put the dollar sign at the front? We ARE crazy! Feck, I'm very jealous towards you right now. If prices keep rising on housing and tuition I won't be able to move out of my house and I won't be able to afford schooling... WAAAAAAH crying I wanna be 2 years older right nooooooow! Then I could sign up for college ^_^ YAY! Now I know that somebody out in internet land who may or may not read this would probably go all 'dammit kid it's not all fun and games, college is hard work blah-dee-blah', but let's face it. In my current state, I am unemployable, I have no real source of income, and almost all of my main skills only funnel me into some part of the entertainment industry. Unfortunetly my band is going nowhere at quantum speeds and all other options require either a highschool diploma (to be able to sign up for the course) or a working computer. If I had the PC I could go freelance and earn some cash for college..... but my parents are kinda cheap when it comes to these things so since I can't prove that it is a mandatory requirement for my education they won't fund it.... On the other hand, I DO have flash 5, and although I may not have a computer to put my crap on the net, if I pump out some good s**t then they miht be convinced to get me some A/V equipment and a net connection. If I'm lucky they might get me rhino too! ^_^ mmmmm rhino. Never has a mammal been so yummy. sweatdrop lol I think I'll leave that amusing tidbit in....even if it does make me sound like a sexual deviant... rofl

Yeah... no. Cashier = not fun. My shoulders hurt all the time. Oh, and I have to wear a uniform. In fact, I just got a new promotional shirt that's BLUE. Not blue, BLUE. Also, it's a large. I don't know if you remember this about me, but being a little (oh, hah hah rolleyes ) to the left of average when it comes to height, there is no way on God's good earth that I will ever fit into a large. Seriously? I look like and eight-year-old playing dress-up if I don't roll up the sleeves. I could make it into a dress. stare
I asked for a smaller one, but no. They only have large.
*sigh*
Well, I do have a bonus coming up. Being one of the only marimba/vibraphone players in NB helps me land spots in public productions (but it also means a limited repertoire for auditions >.>), and depending on the scale, I earn from 100-300$ a pop (it's more of a gift than a paycheck). Right now, I'm working on CATS music.
Huh, I always thought you were older than me, Kozo. O.o;

Hahahaha. Anyway, Shaz, congrats! Was that the school in British Columbia? If so, WOO!
My dad is making me go to my city's community college the first year. stare He originally was gonna make me go there for two years, but I stealthily talked him out of it.
You see, I'm majoring in Architecture and minoring in International Studies, and...since what I'm majoring in only has ONE school that carries it in our entire state, well, I'm obviously going to be going to that University.
And my minor requires one year of studying abroad - which means Annie will be going to college in Europe somewhere for one year. 4laugh
Yeah, I just convinced him with something on my plate like that, I really REALLY must get out of here sooner. xd

Well, it looks like I'm relapsing into depression. This in itself would be a frustrating experience, but everybody seems to not get it. They all think that because I'm suffering ffrom depression that I'm automatically feeling sad. They all mean well, but no matter how many times I tell them that I feel fine and that nothing's wrong save that I'm suffering from a mental illness they freak out! Ugh, stupid people who care too much. No matter how many times I tell them that the only cure is time, they want to help do something about it. feh.
Ok well now that I've talken care of THAT! FREAKING EH! I just fixed my USB port. huzzah. I STILL don't know where the scanner is but now I can post my 3d art again. YAY! ^_^

GAH!? Do I Shazzy do I REALY sound that old in text? My picies are up in the intro forum....I didn't think I looked THAT old whee Yeah, I'm 17. Meh, don't feel bad or anything, once a 30-something year old flight attendant tried to seduce me.... I politely turned her down and explained the circumstances. ^_^ I was wearing a uniform that made me look like an airforce pilot, and I don't think it would be right to take advantage of the situation and decieve the poor woman. It makes for a good story though!
Oh yes, and another thing....what IS a marimba or a vibraphone anyway?
And if you thought I was older...how old are you ^_^' ? You heart my posts? I'm flattered but confused... this is just how I talk. Hee-hee somebody once snuck up on my during an anti-white rant and filmed me for a school project...it was kinda embarassing especially since well...I'm white. Vibraphones, xylophones and marimbas all look basically the same... they have a keyboard layout with bars or wood, metal, or kevlar and you hit 'em with mallets. The vibraphone has metal bars and resonators that you need a motor to work. Xylophones have wooden bars and metal resonators. Marimbas are basically bass xylophones.
They're used in all sorts of music, but mostly with African beats and the Eastern pentatonic scales.
I only own the marimbas and a glockenspiel. I play with up to six mallets, but most songs only require two or four. blaugh
