"Basically," Jude said. His tail flicked side to side every few moments as he sipped. It was good tea, but he didn't know how he'd get to sleep tonight. "So his name's Sub, huh? Sounds like another foreign name to me. Unless..."

It was clear by his upward gaze that he wasn't thinking in a family-friendly manner.

"People who don't give out their names frighten me." Nick said. "They're generally up to some grand, evil plot."

"I once met a Cain. He was a pastor, believe it or not." Nick mused. "And then again, who names their kid 'Jude'?"

"The same kind of parents who let their kid wander off and one day come back a Sentret hybrid," Jude answered. "I think that was my second least fun discussion with them..."

"I don't know," Ship mused. "Eve is a fine name. In the homeland, it's not uncommon among the duchy."

"Which story now?" Eve asked before pointing towards the kitchen door, "Oh, and bathroom's through there and down the hall. Third door on the left."

She smiled down at Ship before giving him a small laugh, "That may be. But it still wasn't fun growing up with the name. Got teased a bit for it. Though, now you have me curious, Jude. How did you become a Sentret hybrid? I just assumed, like me and Ship, you were born this way."

"Artifact." Nick blurted. "Probably. Much as I'd like to stay, it has been four days since I had warm water, and I suspect if I look hard enough I'll find a bathroom here somewhere."

Without waiting for anyone's input, he set his phone on the counter, tapping it with four fingers a few times until the screen lit up brightly. From within, an intense glow emerged, before a Porygon constructed its physical manifestation above the phone's darkened screen. "Jude, can you keep an eye on this?" Nick asked, setting the headphones and his wallet down as well. Without an answer, the man started off in search of a bathroom, the Porygon giving everyone in the room a once-over before drifting in pursuit.

"I'll continue when he gets back," Jude said, and he went to the counter to pick up the phone. "I imagine he'll want to hear, and it's kinda awkward telling the same story twice in a row. What about you, Eve? Ship? Why are you with these guys?"

Most of his attention, however, was on the phone. Maybe Nick had found a lead on some neat shiny things over the past few days. Even if they were out of their reach for the moment, it'd be something to look forward to.

"Erm. I'll pass," said Ship. More importantly, he was interested in how Eve got here.

Al had easily allowed Keiko to lead him out of the kitchen and away from the others. When they reached the main lobby, he breathed a small sigh of relief. "It's ok-k-kay." He assured with a small smile, Tweety resting on his shoulder now. He adjusted his glasses a bit as he looked around. Unfortunately, it appeared this room was beginning to fill up a bit as well.

When the Ho-oh hybrid approached, he yelped a softly and hid behind Keiko as best he could. "Ah! I'm n-n-not here t-t-to cause t-t-trouble!" He swore, holding up a hand to show he was unnarmed. Despite Tweety's evil glare, it was obvious he had no intention of trying to hurt anyone or anything. "I was j-j-just c-c-camping here w-w-when some of y-y-your p-p-people wandered into my B-b-base out in the c-c-cave." He explained quickly, his stutter becoming more prominent.

When the small child known as Leslie approached, he yelped a second time and stumbled backwards, falling onto his butt in surprise." Oh....H-h-hello. M-m-my n-n-name is Aluette Renarde. B-b-but p-p-please just c-c-call me Al if y-y-you use my f-f-first name." He offered, trying to play brave. This man, middle-aged though he may be, seemed to have some serious issues dealing with people. Maybe he had a story of his own to give?

Speaking of stories, Lykas hadn't exactly been in the loop the last few minutes. He'd gotten rather bored once everybody stopped sharing and wandered off. He was now in the main lobby, attempting to pester Odd into going out for dinner. "I'm hungry and we always eat here..." He argued as he pouted at the older male.

"Ya but that's because we're broke. See, we have the problem of being unable to get jobs while we're saving the world and Sub doesn't exactly give us paychecks for this gig." Odd countered, shooting down the younger teen's look with a firm one of his own. "If we were more militant, we might get an allowance or some sort of weekly pension. But as it is, we need jobs to spend money, otherwise all we can buy are basic trainers supplies from the mall." He offered as he scratched the boy's head playfully.

"Fine......." Lykas finally conceded, following the older boy back into the kitchen. "By the way, cute pet, Kei." He called back to Keiko as he entered, teasing the girl about her older tag-a-long.
