Remus nodded, putting his own hand on Rike's shoulder. He looked back up a glint of determination in his eye. "Thanks. Few understand what it means to lose everything. Even fewer understand what it means to have a second chance."

Rike smiled, a hint of sadness flashed across his eyes as his own memory of sacrifice, "Another chance at life is something most never have. I know this, Kaiser and even Lina as I'm sure you know by now know this." he patted his shoulder and finally let him go, "That's enough questioning for today, but before you rest, can you tell your cousin that she should come in already. I'd like to meet her."

Remus smiled and nodded. "I'll do that." Remus stood up, and nodded to Kaiser before walking off. He paused long enough to sniff out his cousin. "Your future relative would like a word. He grinned and then moved off toward the rooms without another word.

Kiran gave a sort of sniff, though did drift out of the shadows where she'd finished her sandwich while the men spoke. While she was nosy before, once they withdrew to the living room she did allow them privacy. It was only a moment before she was into the living room containing Rike and Kaiser.
"I was sent...." Calmy she pointed out, not quite certain why she was wanted but the possible reasons cued up a list of responses in her head.

Othello noiselessly walked into the kitchen and looked around for something to eat. He was ignoring the noise in other rooms as being irrelevant to him, and so he eventually found an appetizing meal with which to lurk in a corner and eat.

Rike's serious side was gone by the time she entered the room and was replaced by the strange childlike behavior from before, "I just want to see my other soon to be family member!" he said, gesturing for her to sit with him and the others.

"Hey, is there anything good in here?" Cara asked as she walked into the kitchen, not really expecting an answered as she opened the door and started digging in, "You missed all of the action you know. I was turned into an elemental, tried to kill Seine then was knocked all over the place by a perverted wind Elemental and then came back here to see a daughter at more grown up thna her own father. So, how was your day?" she asked, closing the door and coming out with a red container that obviously wasn't red wine.

Remus knocked lightly on the door to his and Lina's room and then entered. He shut the door behind him and then leaned against the wall. "That was... interesting."

Remus nodded thoughtfully and then climbed into bed. He rolled onto his back and closed his eyes. He groaned inwardly at the thought of how sore he would be in the morning after fighting with Cara.

Lina followed suit soon after, her thoughts on how drained her powers would be, an after-effect of the spell. She sighed before willing herself to go to sleep, the thoughts about magic and her father gone for now.

He hadn't really expected to see someone else for a while, but he was glad for the company. That, and the little container she carried made him realize just how long it had been since he had a proper feeding. He eyed it a bit before replying and licked his lips unconsciously. "You've probably got the best stuff in your hand I think. As for missing the action.. To be honest, I was asleep most of the time. It certainly sounds like one heck of a day for you though." He once again eyed the container before looking back up to Cara. "Is there another one of those in by the way? I don't remember the last time I had a decent meal..."
