He still clung to her leg, but now he just had his hands on it, not shaking it or anything anymore. He kept looking up at her, wide-eyed, and he began to feel a bit sorry for her. He had a little bit of a bad feeling about where the story was going, and he didn't know what to say. He was at a loss, so he just nodded for her to continue.

"So...here I was, a 17 year old mexican chick in a foreign country with no friends and no money...I knew how to speak english, I learned that back at home...but I kept walking around, looking around...although I did think I see a girl in a school uniform flying on a pink umbrella...but I didn't put much thought into it...I thought I was still drowsy and in shock from the events that just happened that I started seeing s**t. Well..anyways, as I kept walking I bumped into a girl..Lenalee actually and she was looking around for someone too, she also seemed sad. So I talked to her for a bit, got her to cheer up slightly...then something attacked again.
To my damn surprise it was another akuma..I don't know if it was the same one that attacked the place I was just at but it was there..shooting at us. I had no idea on what to do, so Lenalee grabbed me and she threw me on the rooftop of a building while she went off and fought the thing."
She makes some hand gestures while saying this, showing her surprise.
"I couldn't flipping believe my eyes, she was flipping flying around like her feet just grew wings and totally kicked that Akuma into next Tuesday! She came down and then I was kind of in shock and asking her how the fawk she did all that.
She told me about the Order and the Exorcists, the Noah and the Earl and akuma. I couldn't believe it at first, but seeing that thing and seeing her fly was enough proof to make me believe.
Anyways, both of us kind of departed, she went off to search for someone and I went off to search my friends.
A little while later..I found someone on the street, that was similar to the person Lenalee was describing...a boy with silver white hair and a weird tattoo thing on his left eye."
She paused again, taking another breath.
O3O!!!
"You saw Road!! And Allen!!"
He grinned up at her and prodded her to continue. His heart did another little purr at her smile and he twitched it away.
O3e
"I'm okay!"
He grinned some more. He was only vaguely aware he still had his hands on her leg for no apparent reason.
"Bingo! It was those two alright." She returns to her slouching on against the wall and she laughs at his twitch, although she was still wondering why he had his hands on her leg...but she'll bug him about that a bit later...right now she had a story to tell.
"So when I walked up to Allen, we talked, and introduced ourselves, got to know each other a bit, not much of a conversation, just a simple hi and I had to tell him that Lenalee was looking for him. He nodded and then out of nowhere..my damn stomach growled like a lion, I remembered I didn't have anything to eat since breakfast since the ship didn't really offer quality food, we passed on that.
He offered to give me money for a restuarant that wasn't far ahead and he made his way to see Lenalee, I thanked him for the stuff and went in...
However, the place was flipping deserted, it was soo deathly quiet that I got kind of paranoid, I looked around to see if there was anybody left in here, then out of nowhere came a loud as hell shot.
My instincts told me to duck and cover...so I hid under a table and peered from there, trying to see if whoever fired the gun was still around..and why in all hell would he fire a gun.
Soon after, Allen came in and found me under the table, he got worried when he heard the gun shot, he didn't walk very far off so he still heard it.
I told him I was fine..but then later on another explosion happened, then ANOTHER akuma came in. I was about ready to scream my head off! Why in the seven hells where these akuma coming in and attacking everywhere I go and these people I just met!"
I pretty much ducked and hid again as Allen's arm went all creepy like and he fought the thing...but......"
She..pauses, looking down at the ground at the next part..which was something that will stay with her for the rest of her life...something she still can't really recall without shedding a tear. She looks at the ground, her hyperness nearly starting to fade away at the memory.

He gasped in all the right places, and then towards the last bit he noticed that her mood had changed. She looked like she might cry, and he started to panic a little, worried about what he should do about it.
He realized that his hands were still on her leg and he removed them quickly, blushing a bit.

He kept looking up at her and decided he should do something to comfort her, although he was a bundle of nerves. Girls again.
He plucked up all his courage and stood up, looking at her with a little bit of a worried expression on his face. He didn't rush her to continue, letting her take her time.
He reached is hand out hesitantly, his palm sweaty from the nerves. He rested it lightly on her shoulder and squeezed gently. That was all he knew how to do as far as comforting went, and he felt a bit embarrassed.
I am so horrible with girls!!
He continued to blush a little, but kept looking at her anyway, as he waited for her to continue.

"What....what I saw when I hid...was something that won't leave my head for the rest of my life.......I...I saw the body of one of my great friends, my crew mate William, he was such an awesome guy...always dancing to the beat of his own drummer and he was a hyper little guy. I saw him on the ground, laying in a pool of his own blood as he had a hole through his chest....like, a cannonball went through him."
Her voice cracked a bit when she said that, but she sniffed and continues on, blinking rapidly to get rid of the tears.
"I went over to his side and I was panicking, I had no idea what to do on how to treat him, he looked half dead already.....and when I got a closer look in his face...I saw..pentagrams...slowly but surely starting to appear on his skin and take it over like a virus as he turned completely black and then......he turned to dust, leaving his clothes behind.."
She sniffles a bit more, then taking in a deep breathe, trying to mentally will herself to keep going.
"I broke down after that...so many things were happening that I just broke down and cried my eyes out...Allen came over to see what was going on when he finished fighting the akuma and he tried to comfort me. I was pretty much babbling on to myself to make something or someone bring him back...
Allen shook me and told me to not say that, that the Earl will come and bring him back..but not like I remembered him...something about me dying as well. I couldn't take it..if I just saw someone important to me dye RIGHT in front of me, I thought that the rest were dead too....
I couldn't care less, and I still kept crying out, trying not to think of that horrible thought...what he told me next though was something I had to take into consideration....he told me that exorcists like him and Lenalee were out there trying to destroy them..and keep people like me safe.
I took what he said and clung to it desperately...I said that I wanted to be an Exorcist too. By then, Lenalee came in to inspect the damage and stuff, she heard about me wanting to be an exorcist....they tried to disuade me from being one..but I couldn't give a s**t. I wanted revenge for them killing off my family..and on the Noah too....
She sighs, taking a pause to keep going.
After I calmed down somewhat, they promised me that they'll take me to the Order, to see what they can do, not soon after Road just came in...looking bored or whatnot and started talking to Allen and Lenalee. I couldn't understand jack crap of what they're saying, mostly because I still don't understand anything about this. She attacked, and I pretty much got told to bolt again..by this time I was tired of running off....it seemed like I was so damn helpless that I couldn't do anything.
I went into another alleyway...but what awaited me there was just another run in with bad luck....." She paused, wiping her eyes to get rid of her previous tears and calm herself down some more.
